Lady named Barbara was rude. She asked me and my friend three times if we needed help, after saying no twice. If i need help i would ask of course. She seemed like she was following us. Why? Had the worst costomer service with her. She told us to "be quiet" due to us commenting within ourselves that she was rude and asking us over and over if we needed help. She is not a manager and she argued with me. Absolutely inacceptable. Young girls can't wonder the store without being followed? Stereotypical. I'm outraged. Never coming here again. And stay away from Barbra. read more

This review is based on several poor customer service experiences I've had at this location. I believe that with a change in staff and management, this CVS store could be a lot better. One of my most recent experiences at this store was very negative. I was accidentally charged twice for an item when I'd only purchased one of that kind. I noticed it immediately when I got home, while looking over my receipt. I tried calling the store, but they had closed already. The phone just rang and rang, instead of having an answering machine service so I could leave a message for the store manager. Two days later, I returned to the store with my receipt, and the very cashier who'd made the mistake assisted me again. After explaining that she rang me up for two items instead of one, she became hostile and defensive, outright denying that she'd even worked that day (never mind the time-date stamp and her name in bold letters where it says cashier, printed at the top of the receipt). She immediately called over the manager, who I am beginning to realize may be scared or intimidated by her own employee. The manager went to the back of the store and returned about five minutes later. Cued by the employee with a another out right denial that this could have ever happened, the manager developed a bad attitude as well. She then told me that it was too many days ago for her to verify on camera if what I said was true. Furthermore, she lectured me in front of her employee and other customers, about how this was unacceptable and she would only do it just that one time. I then explained to her how that was unfair, seeing how her employee made the mistake. Furthermore, while the cashier was ringing me up, she was talking to other people, not paying attention to what she was doing. This particular cashier has a major attitude problem. Even more, she's ignorant, defensive, and in much need of refinement and professional skills. On another visit to the store, the cashier was singing her lungs out to some song. In fact, it's rare that when I go in there, she is not distracted. The manager even had to touch her on the arm as a warning not to say or do anything unprofessional when I said that she wasn't focused on my transaction. The manager didn't apologize to me for this treatment and inconvenience, nor did the cashier. In fact, the cashier roughly handed me my refund, as a last effort to be aggressive before I left. I am writing to corporate about this incident, as well as the time my husband returned spoiled milk he bought from the store, and had to experience something similar. There have been too many of these experiences at this store, I could write a book about them! I will no longer waste my time and get frustrated shopping at that CVS. read more

It is like any other big pharmacies where you can find many non medical items as well. So you do not get bored walking up and down the aisles. However this place has few drawbacks 1- I had to wait for 20 minutes for a simple prescribed cream and all other customers were waiting such long durations as well 2- I asked a simple question but instead of answering briefly they put me to consultation desk where I had to wait for another 5 minutes until someone finally came 3- The walls are full of advertisements about how good CVS is in terms of managing the problems with the insurance etc, However although my newborn child was less than 30 days old and therefore should be covered by the insurance (the insurance company said that is a window period for enrolling the new child and so should not be a problem) they did not apply this rule and charged us the full price (The insurance company was shocked that CVS did something like this..) So in my case they created an insurance related problem rather than solving one. (Now I need to fill a claim form for that...) read more

Was told yesterday when I came to pick up that my prescription would be ready in an hour if I wanted to wait. I said I would come back later. I come back the next day and it still wasn't ready and I was told I would have to wait. When I explained to the woman I was told it would be ready last night, she was snarky and told me I would just have to wait. It shouldn't take three attempts to pick up one medication. Very disappointed since my last experience with their customer service was so good. read more

This is not about the Pharmacy, this is about the store. I went in to buy some Chanukah wrapping paper. I asked where the Chanukah section was. They directed me to the Christmas section, with plenty of wrapping paper, none of which was Chanukah wrapping paper. I spoke with the manager, who informed me that she never received any "Jewish paper" this year. This is the CVS in Rockville Town Square....seriously???? I expressed my disappointment and walked out. The pharmacy is really busy and therefore they are not very kind to you. One of the store employees was very rude and I had to complain to the main customer service. Also they have no restroom for customers. read more

This is by FAR the worst pharmacy ever. The staff is rude, they never have half of the drugs I need, they are very very very slow, have HORRIBLE customer service, wait times are very long, they are very understaffed, most of the pharmacists have trouble speaking English, the drive in pharmacy is a disaster in that you can sit there forever and when someone does show up eventually they ask a few questions and then don't come back for an inordinately long time. Also, numerous times I called to see if a prescription was ready and was told it was and when I went there it was not ready and I had to wait in a long line of at least 15 people just to ask a question. Plus the cost of the prescriptions are always the most expensive you will ever find anywhere. This is the kind of business that is generally representative of the decline, unfortunately, of many American businesses these days: poor and rude employees, many of whom can barley speak English, poor yet expensive service and drugs and just OUTRIGHT INCOMPETENCE. read more

Came to pick up a medication that they told me was ready but they ended up making me wait over 15 minutes because they screwed up billing the insurance company. They didn't care to apologize for wasting my time either. Don't pick up medication here. The pharmacists are incompetent. read more

They dont let customers use the restroom and claim they dont have one. I know for a fact cvs stores are supposed to let customers use the restroom if they ask and employees can walk them over to the back, as I used to work at one. Screw this place and its useless staff. They don't follow corporate's rules. Plus there was no staff on floor. Only one person at the register with a long line and two at the pharmacy. read more

I never wrote a review before but this CVS forced me to do it. If there is a zero star, I will give this store that rate without hesitate. Very poor and mean customer service. They wanted to charge additional $12.99 for only cutting 9 pictures into 2''x2'' size which they did agree to develop. What a ridiculous charge! They did not charge like that before and they said it was the new policy now! The manager was very unhelpful and should be fired if the store wanted to be better. read more

Independent pharmacies ROCK!. So I only go to CVS in case of emergency. I have never patronized a CVS pharmacy ANYWHERE in which I've waited less than half an hour (except at three a.m.), and today's prescription took more than an hour to fill at this location. There were only one pharmacist and one tech trying to handle a flood of customers, and the phone rang often and loudly in the waiting area. I should have taken that hour to drive home to my indie pharmacy, despite the acute need to fill the prescription as soon as I left my doctor nearby. Bah. read more

They always have long lines there and they seem to act as though it's an inconvenience to be there helping you. I mean, it's your job. There's one guy there who always seems nice. But honestly it's hit or miss with them. Luckily I get my prescription filled elsewhere so I don't know about the pharmacy. read more

This is my worst experience with a cvs drug store ever! My doctor gave me a prescription for hypertension medication and they gave me wrong medicine. I didn't take the medicine and went back to my doctor who was furious and said she has several incidents with same cvs.sine I had payed 65 dollars I went back armed with a new prescription from my doc with a notation written on it to follow her perception as written. This time a small Spanish speaking woman(not pharmacist) asked if I had written the message , I said call my doctor. She said we don't this medicine but we can order come back tomorrow and you must speak to pharmacist. I waited 1 hour while pharmacist talked on phone and I kept complaining and they kept waiting on other people ,I finally left without my medicine and without my perscription back and without my money back. There was anther customer there with a similar complaint. My blood pressure really went up after all that. Back to my doctor on Monday.It seems the small woman(not pharmacist)runs the show there and she's a glorified sales lady wearing white coat. read more
