This pharmacy is leaps and bounds better than the Walgreens across the street (at least my…read moreexperience so far.) It functions very well and the hours are great. They are open 1-2 hours longer than their competitor and are actually open Sundays. Walgreens was starting to become the bane of my existence, I'm very glad I finally switched. I was essentially forced to because the constricted hours made it to hard to get my pharmacy order from Northside filled. They closed up a little early around a week ago and then tried to tell me the only pharmacy still open in the area was in Cartersville. Apple Maps said that Publix across the street was open for another hour, lol. So I came over and it was filled right away. Now I've been here twice and so far the prescriptions have been filled quickly, I haven't had to wait in a long line, and the workers are actually competent (which is a new experience for me when it comes to pharmacies.) The Publix Atlanta division offices are right down the street so maybe that plays a part in their high performance. Also, it's Publix so you can buy a few groceries while you wait, if there even is a wait. Who wants to spend their time buying overpriced goods at CVS or Walgreens? Nobody. I'm happy to continue coming here.

The pharmacist and pharmacy technicians that work at Publix are extra special. Today the associate even asked about me and my health. Where are you going to have that happen anymore- especially with us being more and more reliant on Technology. It made my Day to have the Shawn (spelling, may be wrong) go out of her way to ask me questions regarding my health. The past 12 months have been extremely hard. Ive had 32 surgeries or surgical procedures since 2007. Even more before that due to other health reasons. Over the years I've had some great caring and genuinely concerned pharmacies with pharmacists or technicians who go above and beyond. But I have never been met time and time and time again with smiling faces where the staff no matter what they're position that always seem to go the extra mile at Publix. This one in particular! I miss Dominic who worked at this location for years. I'll miss him and hope he'll be transferred back one day. The new staff over last year thats come in is just as great! They won't disappoint. There kind, courteous and knowledgeable. Ask questions and you will receive Answers. Having such a diligent and knowledgeable staff with all that's going on in the world today is a blessing. Publix offers vaccines and is set up to meet all you tech lovers out there happy with the Publix app. If you rather talk to someone in person then Publix is the way to go.

I actually was able to ask the pharmacist several questions that I was confused about when taking a pharmacology course. My favorite moment is a few weeks ago when I was out of my compression socks for work and I was able to run in, buy a pair, put them on in the store, and head off to work!! It was a life saver for me after working 4 shifts straight and not having time to wash my other socks. Due to my hectic schedule, I never call before I show up. They have never been annoyed with me even when it's 10 minutes before closing and they have to fill the prescription. I cancelled my mail order prescriptions just so I could support our local pharmacy. They also help me find coupons for one of my medications. They work hard to make sure I am getting the best price. I get excited about going in because they have cute boutique type items to look at and purchase. I am always thinking of who I need a present for when I am in there. Never boring when I need to wait...btw...I've never waited more than 10-15 min!

If you are unsure about a certain medication that you have been prescribed and or need further instructions on how to best take them...they will not only take you on the side and explain in detail but will even call to check up on you... This pharmacy has a walk up window to the left side of the building so that if you're just picking up you don't have to walk all the way into the store to do so. It's super convenient....

You can conveniently park at the 10 minute walk up first parking space and either drop off or pick up without having to go in the store. This is a huge perk! They also offer vaccines. Not 20 minutes later the pharmacy called to tell me that they had it! LIFE SAVER :-)
