This review is for the Minute Clinic only. I came to this location even though it was an additional 20min drive for me and I am less than 2mi from my closest CVS because the online posted wait time was none vs 91mins! I get there and login at the kiosk (which is a touchscreen which just seems counterproductive considering most people touching that screen are being seen for some sort of communicable plague!? There is a purell station next to it, but still...gross!) right behind a lady who could not figure out how the damn thing worked. So I had to help her dumb butt just so i could register!! The person they were seeing came out and the lady I helped went in...I was hoping it was going to be quick...alas it took almost 25mins!? After I got in there, I figured out why. They have both a PA & a NP see you in a cramped little examination room and the majority of the "visit" is spent w/one of them asking u symptom questions and entering them in on a computer and the other one just standing there. It would have been much more efficient for one to take vitals while the other is asking questions and entering info. I also had to request a strep culture. The whole thing just seemed really odd and no offense to NP, but she was either in training or not competent...either way, the visit could have gone a lot faster if it was just the PA. I did like that they print out all ur paperwork then and there, you pay them then and there, and they send you on your merry way. It did seem like a perfunctory visit since I was told "I probably just had a virus and to take OTC meds/drink lots of water/rest"...literally the same free advice I could have gotten from the pharmacist. If I didn't need a Dr note for work, I honestly would not do this again. That being said, it was a nice last minute, somewhat affordable option when you need to see a med professional.

    Why, though?

This pharmacy's drive through needs some serious work. I have gotten stuck in the line here so many times. Today sent me over the edge. I pulled up to get my meds. There was a car at the window so we went to the second stall. The lady tells us we cannot pick up from this lane. So we back up and get in the other line. We had to wait behind one car for 25 minutes. Unacceptable. It's really poor customer service. There was no one else in line. We sat behind that car for 25 minutes when they could have sent the meds to the other lane. I don't get it. Very disappointing.

Here's the full review, clean and final -- point 2 restored to full strength:…read more Exhausting is the only word for it. I understand prescriptions aren't every pharmacy's strength -- but at this point they'd be better off dropping the pharmacy counter entirely and running as a straight convenience store. Here's why, point by point: 1. They get the insurance wrong every single time. Every time. The charge comes back inflated, and when I catch it, the story is always that they "applied the discount program instead of my insurance." I've stopped treating it as a mistake. 2. I was shorted on a fill -- and billed for all of it. A four-week supply came up two weeks short. Two of the four weeks were missing from the bottle. When I raised it, the tech got flustered and fell back on "we have video of every fill and I handed you a bottle." She did hand me a bottle. It was half empty of what the label said was in it. They had no problem billing me for all four weeks. 3. There is no working inbound phone line. I know how that sounds. Try it yourself: (512) 452-7693. They don't answer -- they route you to voicemail and call back on their schedule, if at all. 4. The complaint process is a maze, by design. Staff will tell you the managing pharmacist is the top of the chain and every complaint must go through him -- via yet another voicemail box. A chain with roughly 9,200 locations is not run by one pharmacist in Round Rock. There is a District Leader for pharmacy. Corporate customer service will take a complaint directly, but only if you specifically ask them to bypass the store. Do it any other way and you get a callback from the very store you're complaining about. 5. The pattern points to management. Individually these are annoyances. Together they read as a location where incompetence is the norm and nobody above the counter is correcting it. Enough. Trust me or read the rest of the reviews -- the pattern's the same. Steer clear of this pharmacy unless you're just running in for chips and a drink.

I've been asked to pay again for this medication 3 TIMES and I still have no medication! I've called twice and each person I've talked to has told me it's another week bc of testing. The first person said he "saw my bin with medication in it and was putting it on the top" then the next person Intalked to said they "no longer had my medication in its correct dosage" and someone would call me back TODAY with instructions. (No call back). So someone went into a bin with my name on it and took the paid for medication to use for someone else because they had a "lot of orders"?! How is that okay? Is this place a scam? What if this was a senior or anyone urgently needing their medication and they are asked to pay again for the medication, that is already paid for, each time they call? How is this good practice?

I would renew my prescription and would receive the invoice and when it was paid I receive the shipping information. Within two days I would receive my refill. Then the servise completely fell apart. After long waits on hold I finally got to talk to a person who assured me that they had been through some growing issues but they had been resolved. My last refill was confirmed eight days ago and I haven't even received the invoice. Obviously I am completely out and searching another compounding pharmacy.
