I would give the pharmacy zero stars if I could. 1. pharmacy is always understaffed 2. high turnover of staff - known as a "problem store" 3. you're a number standing in line, not a valued customer 4. when calling, you are put on hold for an inordinate amount of time 5. drive-thru customer takes precedence over customers waiting in line in person - WRONG! I used to work at different CVS pharmacies and the fault lies with upper-level management and greedy corporate. Money is the bottom line, not the well-being of the customer. Staff were told they MUST pick up a phone call by the third ring - HA! I am still waiting for someone to pick up my call after 15 minutes! At least pick up the phone and ask to be put on hold. The CVS on University and Kendall lost their most valued pharmacist, Dave, who moved on. I see a different pharmacy technician every time I walk into the store. I will be transferring my prescriptions to Walgreens. read more

Awful pharmacy service. Yeah I get it - the medication can take a while to be refilled anywhere you go, but the service (especially from the blonde lady with the ponytail - I WISH I would've gotten her name) is just not good at all. I went in to get birth control sent from my doctor in Redlands. I go to school out here so I'm usually here but I was on summer break (I live in LA). I had a doctor's appointment in Highland so I decided to go pick it up on the way back since I'll be out there anyways and I didn't wanna go through the trouble of calling to send it to a pharmacy in LA. I get to CVS and ask the lady for a refill. Usually they say it'll take 15 minutes, but she said it would take an hour. I said, "An hour?" and she said, "Yeah." So I said, "I'll have to wait here then.. I live too far away to go home." and she looked at me with no sympathy and no smile (pretty sure she sighed, too) and basically no customer service skills and said, "I'll do it as fast as I can." I waited over an hour and decided to sit by the consult area. Another lady at the pharmacy - bless her heart, she was so sweet - asked me if I was waiting for a prescription. I told her I was, and she asked for my last name. She went to look for it and it had been ready for God knows how long!!!! I smiled and thanked her for getting the medication. I notice that some other reviews also talk about a blonde lady and I don't know if it's the same one, but I just think there are many more pharmacies that will give you better service. read more

I was in this store today, I could not find what I needed but no one on the floor to ask. I looked around and one employee was at the register and the other I think was trying buy something, not sure. I had to go to the front register to ask about the item, but a lady with a shopping cart full was checking out. So the line had 6-8 people in line and no help. The one who was buying something, stopped and opened a register, thank you for that. But the line was still long, the employee had to stop checking the customer because the self-service had a problem. Finally another clerk came out from somewhere and helped, but just was standing just in case of a problem at self check out. The customer with a full basket was causing the back up, do they should have called for help right away, horrible service, horrible. read more

If I could give this a 0 I would. I had my child who needed antibiotics for his tooth pain. we are new to the area and they told me they needed me to go inside so they can make a profile for him. I had my 9 month old in his car seat and my 7 year old with tooth pain in the pharmacy Waiting to be helped. I gave her the prescription and my son's insurance card. She goes on to say that she can't find the information she needs on the computer and tells me to call my insurance to get all the information that is already in the card. I can't believe that she was not trained properly and has very poor customer service. she Was so rude giving my back my prescriptio. I will NEVER use that pharmacy. Rite aid down the street was able to help me and give me my medicine in 5 minutos. staff is so helpful a knowledge. Take the time to drive down the road to Rite Aid you will not regret it. Had a problem getting a hold of the pharmacy so I ended up just choosing to speak with the main department from the operator option... Idk who answered the phone but after being cut off from the phone line after calling twice prior and 20 mins on hold, I decided to call back one more time... I finally got connected to someone ( only on hold for a min ) in the front, it took him literally 1 min to get the pharmacy on the phone for me... Thanks whoever you are. read more

This is literally no exaggeration. Since moving to the area I have used this CVS pharmacy 4or5 times. I have never received my prescriptions correctly. Every single time we come one of the prescriptions didn't have enough quantity or they had to order it from another store after I already received a text message. the pharmacist manager will expose you to covid because he's lazy! i used to always recommend this CVS because Isreal in the pharmacy is always great (nothing bad to write about him still)!! my experience this time with the pharmacy manager was TERRIBLE. while having covid and trying to figure out insurance over the phone the manager of the pharmacy Emmanuel LIED to me and said he was all alone and that I needed to come in person to update insurance information. He stated he was "too busy to help over the phone". I responded and said that doesn't make sense as to why you would want me to come in person to make the line longer if he's alone. I told him I am POSITIVE WITH COVID and that's why I was trying to quarantine and be responsible by taking care of everything over the phone. He said "come in" and hung up on me. I came in and there was him and TWO other workers behind the pharmacy and he was clearly NOT busy, I live 3 minutes away so I was there immediately after speaking with him over the phone, NO LINE INSIDE and 1 person in the drive thru, which he was having everyone else help while he sat on his computer. He told me I need a bunch of extra information so I sat in the store WITH COVID and called my insurance, he did not offer me a mask or anything knowing I had covid. When I got the information for insurance I told him I had it, he IGNORED ME and the other pharmacist that has always been nice, Isreal, took it upon himself to help me when he noticed me being ignored. I will NOT come back because he knowingly and unnecessarily made a person with covid come in store for something that could have been taken care of over the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. The store manager Jay was nice and tried to help us with whatever he could, but he has no control over the pharmacy because Emmanuel is the pharmacy MANAGER and told me I needed to come in store to update my insurance while knowing I am sick with COVID. read more

Just got my wisdom tooth pulled out and dropped off my prescription between 11:40am-12pm today. Lady didn't even looked at me and instantly said "it'll be ready in 1 hr". I come back at 2:15pm And for some reason they're having trouble finding the prescription I just dropped off! Once they finally got it to me, I noticed i only got 1 medicine...I dropped off 2 pieces of paper... so to double check, I got back in line to make sure this is all I needed. Once it was my turn, I told them the situation, and they told me to go to "drop off" for more info. Ok sure! So I go there to ask about my prescription....and the lady tells me "you have one more medicine but it won't be ready until 3:30pm".... Then why for FUCK'S sake would you tell me "1hr" 2 and a half FUCKING hrs ago?!? I'm already not in the best mood because of my wisdom teeth n now I gotta deal with this shit? Other than the nice male pharmacist and the blonde lady at the register (who handled 2 cash registers at the same time) for being diligent and showing me compassion, I wouldn't recommend this CVS pharmacy to anyone. Next time I'll drive to a pharmacy with better reviews... I should have known better based on their yelp reviews. read more

I have a knee injury that requires me to see multiple doctors out of the area. On my monthly visits, cvs pharmacy has no problem filling my prescriptions but the 2 times I've had knee surgery, they will not fill my prescription claiming by policy they cannot fill a prescription from out of the area. read more

The pharmacy department can be very slow. Some of the workers are incompetent! They do have a drive thru pharmacy to drop off and pick up your prescription. The store stays clean and organize. It's hardly ever busy at the checkout stand. Also there is a CHASE ATM inside the store. read more

If they had 0 stars I'd pick that. Their pharmacy department is cruel, they never give you your medications in the time frame they promise. They ALWAYS have to be reminded and ask about your refill. They keep you on hold forever if you have an issue, then hang up on you. That's happened to me twice. They think 30 days mean the exact day as the last month even though technically it's 31 days. Have to argue, get upset, just to get your prescription ready. It goes on and on. Never go there for the pharmacy dept. it's going to stress you out and even make you more sick from the stress they cause. Immediately changing to a different one as of today. read more

Once again, below sub-par service in the pharmacy. I hate that I have to go there for my RX. I argued with my insurance company but declined and said i had to. The pharmacy crew is so horrible, unprofessional and act like you are bothering them. I have never been greeted my the pharm staff, let alone one of them ever crack a smile. The pharm-d, just as bad, inquired about how to transfer my rx there from target, and gave me such a hard time, i opted to pay cash for the ones i could afford from target and then the other at CVS. The less i have to deal with them, the happier i will be! CVS needs to contract TARGET on CUSTOMER SERVICE, and maybe have smile lessons? i dont know. This CVS made me feel so disrespected that I went out of my way to call their customer service number and delete my CVS extra care rewards account. I will no longer be a customer of this company due to the rude cashier and the manager that was unable to solve The issue that I had with the cashier. I could not believe the rude face the cashier was making at me when I requested them to honor my coupon that came on the package of an item that I had bought. Wait time was twice as long as I was quoted (nearly two hours). Tall heavy blond was extremely rude, irritable, and condescending. Some lady, perhaps a manager, kept interrupting the pharmacist the entire time with something that seemed like it should have been taken care of at a slow time or perhaps before or after business hours. One of my prescriptions was missing when it was time to pick it up and I had to start all over again. Of course the lady was very defensive and rude yet again when I suggested that I did not get all my medications. I have been a customer at this store since it opened and have always been treated well when shopping there.The pharmacy may be understaffed occasionally but I have never been treated discourteously. I have had to wait til next day for meds if I brought script in very close to closing or if item was out of stock (which can happen thru no fault of the pharmacist) and there hsve been times when there have been up to 10 people in the pick up line so a wait is required. Remember that no usiness is perfect and sometinme we can't get seved s quickly as we would like. Can hsppen anywhere. read more

As a regular customer of the pharmacy, I need to go there a lot. Sometimes I am unable to get the prescriptions that I need in a timely manner. I need to go to another city and that is sometimes difficult when there are health issues that need to be taken care of. Things seem to be getting better but lately the shelves aren't stocked with things that I need. Maybe it's inventory season. I look forward to seeing things a little better but it's hard with so many expectations. read more

Sometimes the lines are too long and the employees take forever to ring people up. I do not like the long lines, but CVS has great items for great prices. I love their cosmetics but sometimes the lines are discouraging and it makes me want to just put my items down and leave. read more

This pharmacy has been a lifesaver to my adult daughter, diagnosed with cancer. For the last four years they've made sure my daughters many meds are here on time and they email us when ready for pick up. I love using the drive up. Customer service from David at this store is terrible, I asked for a roll of quarters considering I needed for a coin-op laundry machine and he said he didn't have any, I asked him to check with his manager and he said he did. When he came back he stated they had no Quarter rolls. When I spoke with the store manager, she had no knowledge of being asked which makes me feel he just left line of sight and turned around. read more

The pharmacy service at this location is unacceptable. I have had three situations where I brought in a prescription for a sickness which was causing me great pain and I was told that I would have to wait until the next day to pick up the medication. My husband who is asthmatic dropped off a prescription and was told that it was ready the following day. Then, when he returned to the store on the following day he was told that he needed to wait another 30 minutes for the prescription to be filled. This is unacceptable. Why would anyone want to come to a pharmacy where your suffering is going to be prolonged due to understaffing. I will not return to this pharmacy anytime soon. read more

I went in at 11am to transfer my scrips from Rite Aid to here, hoping for better customer service. I was told it would take 2 hours. Okay, no problem. I called at 5:30 to make sure everything ready so my husband could pick up scripts at 6 on his way home. I was told it would be another 1.5 hours. What??? Well, nobody took care off it. Pharmacist was rude, acting like I was a bother to him. I was unable to get the scripts that night so I called at 10:45 am the next day, are scripts ready? No, rude pharmacist says, in an hour. What?? So I get there at 11:45 & guess what? It will be another 15 minutes. 25 minutes later, I FINALLY get the scripts. Guess I'll go mail order. So much for trying to stay local. read more
