This is for the service I received from their Minute Clinic. The nurse practitioner here, Alexis Ehler, has no personality and very condescending and overall judgy. Why would you ask irrelevant questions for my visit, im here for covid treatment. But you ask if I'm schizo? "Cuz that's a schizo or bipolar medication." Maybe it could be for my anxiety? Anyways, that's probably why she works alone at a minute clinic because she has personality issues working with others. I've been here before and had better experiences with other NPs that had compassion and professionalism. read more

One of my prescriptions was not supposed to be covered by my insurance but he took time out of his busy day to do what he could to get it covered and it worked! Not a bad store. Very nice, open, accessible. My review is for my visit to the minute clinic. I tried to make a spontaneous last minute appointment online, but the system would not let me. So, I took my chances and walked in. The parking lot is usually very busy, but parking is always available. The minute clinic is located in the back of the store and a little to the left. I did a self check-in at a kiosk and had a seat. The kiosk said that I had a 45 minute wait, but I took a seat anyway. About 3 minutes later, a nurse came out and brought me in to be seen. The visit went well and saved me a lot of time. No problem! read more

I called in to fill a prescription and the pharmacy tech was very helpful in letting me know how much my co-pay was and the cash price for items not covered. I came in an hour later to pick up my prescription which was waiting for me at the front. What I found weird was that I was never asked if I wanted a consultation. Did the form I sign on the clipboard state that I was waiving it or something? I mean, who really reads things they sign. At other CVS pharmacies I've gone to, the pharmacy techs explained to me what I was signing and the procedures for getting a consultation if I wanted one. I am in from out of town and forgot the few day's worth of medicine that I had packed for my trip. I looked into some CVSs in San Diego where we would be that afternoon. None of them had nice reviews on lien in my Google search so I picked the CVS that would be on our way to and from our destination that day. Called my doctor and asked if I could get an emergency dose for the number of days I will be out of town. They accommodated and sent in a prescription to that CVS. Something did not translate perfectly and when I got there to pick up my scripts I was told that they were not there because there was a hold on them because I had already had it filled them recently. When I had explained to the pharmacy technician about my request for only an emergency dose (a water pill that would mess up my insides if I miss a dose), instead of turning me away or sending me to the order line, she immediately got on the computer and entered the dosage I was requesting and adjusted the pricing and said it would be ready in 15 minutes!! That was awesome because it was already late in the day and we were on our way back to another 2 hour trip and I would have had to get back on the horn to arrange this with another CVS the next day, missing another dose. I wanted to give her a BIG KISS!! Also!! While I was waiting in the pharmacy line I guess there was a 20-person line in the front cash registers. The pharmacy had 2 people at their cash registers. I am personally only used to one person in my neck of the woods. The one pharmacy employee noticed the back-up in the front, notified his fellow pharmacy tech that he was going to help with the 20 person backup, and he came back when he was done. I thought that showed wonderful team work for the store and I was impressed with both techs who helped make the store run smoothly!!! Nice CVS! It looks bright and organized inside! It's one of the better CVS locations I've been to. I stopped by here last week during my work lunch because I had been sneezing at my desk all day and I needed some meds. They had a promo on DayQuil/NyQuil and it was only $8.99 for a box of the two mixed! what a steal! The cashier was friendly and made conversation. Overall, a good store. I love this store very friendly. Always help me answers my question. When i was pregnant and bought items i couldnt carry in my car. They help me load 10 case of water. They take yp 2 weeks of expire coupons as well. I love it here cuz they are 24 hour store and its just down the street from my house. Durin the day time its pretty busy with all the stores surround it. I avoid the area. But late night uts a bit scarey. Wish there were more lighten here. I would recommend my friends & family. I have a trip out of the country coming up and I used the Minute Clinic to get the vaccinations I need before I go. My experience there was AMAZING, quick, informative, answered all of my questions, was friendly and professional. But my experience at the pharmacy, not so much. I left without any explanation of the prescriptions I got. When I asked about getting the flu shot (another one on my list for the trip) the staff was kind of rude the response I received was "It's out of season, no ones going to have it." I would have appreciated just a simple, "Sorry we don't offer it right now," even though all the signs are still up. Overall, the minute clinic was great for what I needed but I'll go as far as requesting my prescriptions be filled somewhere else even if I use it again. read more

Review is for pharmacy experience The traffic and parking for this locations is usually crowded and crazy but I was feeling adventurous and decided to get a prescription filled here. The pharmacy tech was extremely helpful. She informed me that there was a manufacturer coupon available and she went online to get the redemption code for me. It took some time to do but I appreciated the effort to save me $. I was told the wait time was 1 hour so instead of fighting traffic to go home and come back again, I decided to stop by Ralph's to pick up a few groceries. Minute clinic sucks here I got here and waited for 1.5 hours. I didn't mind the wait so much but the thing that set me off was that I was the next person in the que and the nurse came out and said that she was going on a 1hr lunch break and that she would be able to see me then. Additionally, the girl that was behind me in the quench's stood up and said "all I have to do is XYZ" and she was seen immediately and ahead of me! This is appalling. I spoke with the nurse when I made my appointment and she made no mention that my apt. was going to coincide with their lunch break. When got upset, she pointed to this small sign with even smaller print that has the nurse's post lunch breaks (but not statement indicating they would be closed during this time). While I understand the point she was trying to make, the text is not conspicuous, ambiguous and there were two nurses there, yet both of them had to leave for their mandatory lunch at the same time??!!?!?!?!?! This ruined half of my day. I could have been seen at urgent care sooner and their attitude was awful when I brought up this issue. This place will suck up your time and the nurses will laugh at you when you get upset with them over it. I am done with their clinic and CVS. read more

I've been to plenty of CVS Pharmacy's in my day and I have to say I've had 2 very positive experiences in the past week with this hazard center location. Last week, I went to their minute clinic for an eye infection and their doctor was both thorough and efficient. I was in and out in 30 minutes with great advice and eyedrops. Tonight, while dropping off a prescription that's on the pricey side (even with insurance,) I had a very kind pharmacist go out of his way to find me a manufacturer coupon, saving me $40. After saving me a pretty penny, he even filled it same-day, 45 minutes from pharmacy closing time. I've been on this prescription a few years and not one pharmacist has offered to go the extra mile (especially so close to the end of their day). I really appreciated the great service. read more

On top of this there has been several times when my refills are done incorrectly which caused me to leave and then have to come back. Every time I come in here there is a line 10 deep to pick up prescriptions. Ive called in prescription hours ahead & then find out they still aren't ready after standing in line. Then they tell you they will expedite it but still need 20-30 minutes. Tonight my prescription was sent in over an hour before I arrived. I waited in line for about 20 minutes & my prescription still wasn't ready. I then waited another 30 minutes for it to be expedited. This pharmacy is severely understaffed for the volume they see. This is a year round problem here not just flu season. I'm going to look into transferring all of my prescriptions. read more

If there was an option for 0-Star rating, it would be. Their pharmacy staff, system, and process is very low quality. Never ever prepay for prescriptions. My situation. I prepaid for 2 prescriptions, when I picked it up 2 days later, I was told by the pharmacy cashier that 1 of my prescription got returned to the pharmacy and I would not be charged for it, meaning I will automatically get a refund. I asked if I could get the prescription refilled still, I was told by CVS that I had to pay for the prescription again. So I opted to wait for the refund before ordering the refill again. 1 week goes by, the full prepayment posted on my account and no refund to be found. I called the CVS pharmacy and asked for a refund, they said I needed to call their shop CVS line to get a refund. So, I called the shop CVS hotline, my refund was processed, its been a week, no refund was sent to my account. So frustrating, this is not the worst part... after waiting 1 week for a refund and 3 weeks since my medication was returned, I called the CVS pharmacy to refill the medication that was returned. I was told that their system shows it was given to me therefore cannot get a refill for another week. And that they cannot do anything about it since it passed 2 weeks and I waited too long to address this issue.. CVS suggested that I pay out of pocket at a DISCOUNTED price or call my insurance provider to report that the medication was lost so they could overwrite their system... SMH, FRAUD! How is this my fault in the end? CVS' system is flawed, and something needs to be done to correct their lack of responsibility in providing correct prescription and cost to their customers. I am never going back to CVS to fill my prescription and you should not either. read more

This store had amazing customer service yesterday. I am not from the area, however I do frequent the place when I am in town so I don't always know where things are. I ran into the beauty consultant Edgar and he immediately knew I needed assistance. He had such an amazing energy about him, not only did I ask him where to find skin care items but he also showed me where to find everything on my list. I even felt comfortable asking what water/electrolyte drinks he recommended in the store. It didn't stop there he also informed me about the promotion in the store and where to find them when I come back. I was also given a sample of skin care products and being a nurse I totally needed to sample something new for my hands. We even spoke about his mentor the late Dr. Ella Faye Sloan because throughout this whole experience I felt like I was on undercover boss or something. It was top tier 10/10. Then I saw other associates and the vibes and energy matched Edgar. I have never experience customer service like this in my 33 years of life. Thank you! read more

First time here and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of all their employees. We were greeted immediately and asked by a male employee if he could help us find anything. He then took us to the aisle we were looking for and told us he'd be around if we needed anything else. We asked him about a coupon we had gotten by email and he cheerfully took us to a machine that prints out all the coupons associated with your CVS Extra Care card! All you have to do is enter your phone number and it prints out like ten coupons. I looked around and noticed that all the employees seemed just as happy to help! There was no clutter, the store looked very clean, and the lines were short on this Sunday midday visit so I was very pleased with my experience here. read more

Long story short, my father was trying to send money through y money gram. They said machine wasn't working but my father asked if he could test it out to another worker and they allowed it. The actual store is good, good quality, friendly workers--your average CVS. The pharmacy is torture. I dread going there every single time. The customer service is atrocious. Recently I have noticed an improvement (there's a few girls who aren't bad) but for the most part it's awful. For one, if you're standing in line, people take forever to even acknowledge you're there. Then if the phone rings, they will stay on the phone the entire time while you wait there thinking you're going to be there all day. In my opinion, the person on the phone can hold--it's the people that are there that should be served first. Second of all, when they call off my name over the speaker (Jenna) they say "Gina" every single time which drives me crazy. Third of all, they are just not friendly or pleasant in the least. I would like to give special recognition to the manager Puyet for being an especially rude and condescending person. I came here with documentation about my medical condition they requested, they refused to help me, she interrupted me three separate times, refused to allow me to tell her my story, or show my medical documents. She narcissistically cut me off, talked over me, and ultimately gave me no assistance whatsoever. They didn't even fill my medication after all the headache and condescension they put me through. Let me write ANOTHER update. I gave this place up close to 2-years ago. I decided to step foot back in this awful store since it was close and I seriously needed some allergy medicine. Again, this is for the pharmacy. I don't feel like going into detail, but in a nutshell: employees don't listen, I receive the wrong product, I notice after walking around the corner and I turn right around to return the product; because the return is now pending, I now don't have enough available on my HSA card to buy the CORRECT medication I asked for, and have to leave without allergy medicine. I complain to the manager (the first time ever) and he doesn't seem to give a shit. The 'tard in the pharmacy gives me attitude. Sorry lady, but you try dealing with hives and not being able to buy allergy medicine (not only there but ANYWHERE!) and see how pissed you'd be. I've been given the wrong prescription here not once ... but twice. You shouldn't EVER open your prescription container to find a mix of pills that don't look alike. I took the pills back to CVS and explained the situation and all they said were "oh, those were just blood pressure pills. nothing dangerous." Seriously? You gave me the wrong medication mixed with the right medication. I have medication allergies - how do you know it wasn't dangerous being that you can't even count out the proper pills correctly? The staff tends to be very nice and apologetic but you guys are not very efficient or organized. I've had many problems here from text messages from corporate to pick up a script with nothing there. This has happened often. To not filling the script when requested to waiting for a script in store and watching two other people come up and get the same speech about waiting and we will call when ready- they both had their names called before me even tho they were there ten minutes after me! I pick up my prescription here at the pharmacy but I've learned my lesson until go straight after work anymore because the line can be almost unbearably long. Additionally if I ever have to come here for anything else I also avoid the long lines as well as the store can get pretty busy and there's usually no more than two cashiers working in the line almost to the back of the store.
