The staff are consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, and they sometimes speak to customers in a condescending way, as if you're dumb. It's really upsetting and frustrating. At this point, I usually just use the self-checkout to avoid having to interact with the employees. I really wish the customer service would improve because the location and selection are great, but the attitude of the staff makes visits unpleasant.

He still had the cash in his hands when he rung me up (this is where I think he steals it) Twenty dollars paid in cash for gas and when I went to the pump the gas was already pumped. I was brought back to the managers office and we looked at the cameras for twenty minutes while I was having a panic attack and in tears. I was given every excuse under the sun that it's my gas meter and that I was there long enough to get my gas. I have been since trying to get ahold of upper management. A manger from another location called, but was already told the story and was partial to the other manager. Nothing was resolved and as of now still waiting to hear from someone. The other store manager will not give me the number he is calling to call corporate.

I apologize, but we don't allow outside food in the microwave," would have been more than enough. Any reasonable person wouldn't waste time arguing over a policy like that. I had planned to grab some snacks and drinks for the road while my food heated up (if I had been able to use the microwave), but that interaction instantly changed my mind. If a business can't provide basic customer service, I see no reason to spend extra money there. On top of that, the store was poorly maintained. It had been raining all day in San Diego, and the floors were slick with tracked-in dirt. A single wet floor sign wasn't enough to make the space feel safe. Even as I left, there was no "goodbye" or "stay safe," which would have at least shown basic courtesy given the weather. I'm giving two stars because I believe businesses can improve when they take feedback seriously. But unless I'm in an emergency and can't make it to another gas station, I won't be returning to this location. This wasn't about the microwave, it was about poor customer service and an unwelcoming atmosphere. We all have bad days, but that's no excuse to take it out on customers.
