i am a trans man who takes testosterone. i am to the point where I pass easily. it should be easier to pass when a pharmacist knows that I take testosterone. anyway, every time I pick up my testosterone, I am called maam only after I confirm that the testosterone is mine. this definitely feels targeted. i highly suggest that the team take sensitivity training. transphobia isn't cute. it's almost 2023. theres no room for bigotry in this world anymore. read more

Wtf. This cvs is the worst. They advertise to be open 24 hours but they are not open 24 hours. The manager is terrible. I think she hires a bunch of ex junkies to work there. They are probably in the store taking prescription drugs at night past out in the store. Wtf. I have a sick baby and now driving all over the place to find another cvs that is open. Terrible. After I consult a numerous Pharmacist managers cross San Diego county, RITE Aid and CVS, the feedback is what Pride Pharmacy's pharmacist's response to me was strange and unreasonable. I fully support patient privacy act, but as a pharmacy manager ( she told me via 2nd call, she is a manager ) you have to evaluate what type of questions were asked. The question I asked was a simple counseling question. They way she handled this situation indicates an inefficient operating process. We want to support local small business, but the way she handled this small piece of information request was inadequate. I'm not surprised this pharmacy only has 3.5 star review. If the owner of Pride Pharmacy care about customer feedback. Please make sure your internal management level is trained on how to conduct business in a more efficient way.

AHF calls my doctor when I need refills and even sent a medication to me while I was on vacation. It is very helpful to receive texts that my orders are ready. When my doctors prescribe a new medication for me, they usually have it ready by the next day. I don't know who else to depend on if I didn't have AHF.
