Don't come here if you need to use the restroom. The morning manager was extremely rude. I was having trouble opening the restroom door because it uses a confusing locking system I'd never seen before. Another customer was also struggling with it, so he went to get the manager. When she came over, she opened it and laughed at us while saying, "It's working perfectly fine." Obviously it was working we just didn't understand how to use it. Laughing at customers instead of simply explaining it was unnecessary and unprofessional. Even the other customer looked uncomfortable after the interaction. 0/10 customer service. read more

Terrible experience waited 40 minutes for pictures that were ordered from the day before, plus another 10 min. Once I was giving my pictures they were the wrong customer pictures. Their excuse well that was the only pictures with that last name. I had to drive back 20 minutes back to the location, where Chelsea the manager explained to me she had giving me 4$ in pictures for my troubles in front of other customers. I showed my receipt and she said that I should have looked better in the receipt. read more

Super slow!! Waited 15 mins in line then they told me prescription was not ready but they can expedite it and call my name when it was ready. I wanted 40 minutes then asked if it was ready, they said yes and I had to get back in line. Don't come here u less you plan on waiting over an hour, crazy busy. read more

I needed to exchange a SodaStream CO2 cylinder. When I went into this location there was a long line. Not all CVS locations exchange the SodaStream CO2 cylinder, so I just wanted to know if they do the SodaStream CO2 cylinder exchange at this location or not. I asked the cashier if they do the SodaStream CO2 cylinder exchanges and his reply was, "Get in line." I didn't want to wait in line for 20 minutes just to find out they don't exchange SodaStream CO2 cylinders, so I said, "can you just let me know if you exchange SodaStream CO2 cylinders at this location?" Again, he just said, "Get in line." So, I called this location while in the store to ask the question and was told over the phone that, yes, they do exchange SodaStream CO2 cylinders at this location. I even reiterated the question just to be safe and was again told that, yes, they do exchange them. With that, I got in line and waited. When it was my turn, the cashier had no clue about SodaStream CO2 cylinder exchanges (he asked for the receipt for my empty cylinder). I explained the process to him and he said he had no idea how to do that and he went to ask someone else, only to come back and say they don't do SodaStream CO2 cylinder exchanges. I have a feeling they do, but they were just too lazy to deal with it. Just say no in the first place next time and stop wasting people's time. read more

The photo department is terrible. They don't do passport photos but advertise they do. Theres even giant signs that say "passport photos" in the photo department. The Kodak machines don't work and no one helps you. They always pass the buck to another staff member or make excuses. I even heard one say "they were too busy to help me" . There should be a law against the fact that CVS does not answer the phone to the general public. You get a computer who "answers" the phone and if the caller asks for a person or manager you are disconnected. I've decided I'm not gonna get another Covid vaccine. I've had six or seven after going to CVS pharmacy in Pacific Beach. I was a little upset at the gal giving the shots because I had walked away for a minute and there hadn't been clients for an hour and I waited an hour and she said well I called and no, you didn't answer so she didn't even think to go out and see.I was mad at her instead of being so soothing and calming. Shes punched me with the shott. As they read that you should never get a shot with an contracted muscle it should always be relaxed, and I would think she would've known that. My arm hurt me ffor eight months. I'm not I'm not gonna get the vaccine. The wait was plus 25 minutes for RX the last time I went. I gave it 1 star as they filled a prescription that causes me to go into anaphylaxis. The really bad part is when I found out that I was allergic to this medication, i told this location to put it in my file in case I forgot. Either the pharmacist did not put it in or missed it. This could have been a life-threatening mistake. The pharmacist could have cared less. I am switching to a different company. read more

I have to admit that since the closing of Rite Aid, this location has really stepped up their game. I love the subtle carpet leading to the Pharmacy, which is the go to if you live on the East Side of PB, like I do. The Pharmacy is well run and pretty fast. This location does have high priced, often stolen items under lock and key. As a former store owner.. I get it. However, there were plenty of employees on the floor. They weren't intrusive, yet you knew they were there. And they were eager to help. What a great change! I was helped immediately and found everything I needed. Waiting for over 2 HOURS for one simple med when they said it will take 30 minutes , I go back in line to ask for an update, they say we are still working on it, you need to wait 20 more minutes. Very frustrating at least give honest wait times and better customer service. They also were doing a ton of who came after me first. Absolutely unacceptable. read more
