We went there to go get a slushie and felt visually harassed. We love 7 eleven and their food however on April 21, 2022 from 6:30 to 7pm the man working at the counter was staring at my gf way to obviously, looking up and down like he never saw a female before. He made us both feel uncomfortable. While we were paying he was staring at only her while I was standing there entering MY 7 eleven awards at check out. then once we left after he said goodbye to her with a creepy smile he followed with his head and checked out her butt when she left. Great place to grab a drink on a Hot beach day. It's just one block from the sand on Mission Blvd. They had Perrier! and is why I gave them 4 stars. (But wish they would have had Lemon Perrier--get rid of the Orange and Grapefruit Perrier--no one is buying it.) My wife and I were on Mission Beach and decided to take the walk up to Pacific Beach to get some exercise. We got a little thirsty and stepped in here to get a big Coke Zero Super Big Gulp. Thirst Quenching! They had a ton of Frito Lays Flamas sunflower seeds here, which I can not buy in Minneapolis. I bought 22 of them to bring home. This should last me until February. The clerk was super nice and checked us out with a smile. I would guess we stop in here about 1 out of every walk we take up to Pacific beach. Cool store! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY TOLD ME "F*** YOU" AS I WALKED OUT OF THEIR STORE. I'm a local San Diegan, born & raised. Have been a loyal customer to them for years. Went in for a coffee today, then popped next door to say hi to a friend & these guys towed my car during that time, which was parked in their parking lot. I acknowledge I'm at fault as the sign said short term parking only. However, I NEED TO INFORM U ALL that when I went in to ask for the number of the tow company they had called, the two employees behind the counter treated me like absolute scum. NEITHER OF THEM acknowledged the fact I was asking them for service, then finally one barely mumbled out, with zero eye contact in a rude manner, where the number was for me to call to pick up my car. And as I walked out, one of the employees yelled "F*** you." at me. 4 hours wasted & $330 later. NEVER GETTING A COFFE FROM THEM AGAIN. BOYCOTT THIS PLACE. No wonder u have 2.5 stars on here.. My vehicle was just towed and I was legally parked. When I approached the owner all he could say (with a grin) was "prove it". Do NOT give him your business!!! His employees were telling me he is incredibly rude and had poor customer service... truer words have never been spoken. He locked himself in his office while I was calmly trying to find my car . I always end up coming here through out the week, the female employee (no name Tag) is always nice and professional. The young male employee (again no name tag) think they might be Somalian or Ethiopian maybe, is totally rude and disrespectful! First you have to wait on him while he plays on his phone. This 7-11 is the WORST one ever. I have been there on a few occasions and I have never seen such employees that are so ignorant, unpleasant, and just plain miserable without any manners. They have been different employees, so not the same ones each time. They will never get any more business from me. This place should be closed. Regarding the latest incident, on April 23, 7-11 nationwide was giving away a free Mio water enhancer. The commercials were on local radio, as well as the (www.7-eleven.com) website, even their iPhone app had the deal. They would not give one, they said they needed a barcode. I showed them the app and website and they said it was B1G1, not just a free one. They were incorrect. Both ignorant employees said they need a barcode to scan, there was no barcode on the main website, app or mention on the commercials. I asked to speak to the manager. They said they are not there, I said to please call them on the phone. The cashier said can't you go somewhere else. I said no, I said I am here for the deal. The two women kept speaking in Spanish to each other. I noticed right below the keyboard at the register, there was a laminated bar code for them to scan. It said on it "if a guest comes in and asks for a free Mio, scan this barcode". She said, it says Buy 1 Get 1, and guest is responsible for tax. I said charge me tax then, she said again I had to buy 1 to get 1. I said show me on the laminated barcode where it says to purchase one. I said, please call the manager. She went away from the register for a while and apparently talked to the manager. She came back and said she was not informed of the deal. Friends and I got a flat tire out in front of this place and we went in and bought a fix a flat and some slurpees and kindly asked the cashier if we could keep our car in the parking lot for an hour while we try to fix the flat and get a car jack.. The guy was very rude said no then said we have 30 mins to get out of the parking lot. I have been a local businesses owner in the PB and OB area now for almost twenty years and frequent this store when in PB. It sickens me to have to use the language Im about to use, however after many years of turning a blind eye to a problem the owner should have addressed a very long time ago I feel the public should know what Ive seen and witnessed. I usually come late night or early morning as I own a local bar and leave work at odd hours of the night. The short fat disgusting troll of a man employee I believe whos name is Rob or Ralph (as none of the employees at this location wear name tags) was engaged in some of the MOST unprofessional behavior I have EVER witnessed in my lifetime. For starters he was engaged in what seemed like an arguement with the other two employees ( a bigger hispanic male and a middle aged caucasian female) and was literally yelling at them in front of other customers. Im going to assume he is some sort of higher up or manager but couldnt tell as his uniform was the same and had no nametag indicating a difference in seniority like my employees do as most businesses do. His attitude was very condescending and degrading to the other two employees from what I saw and I felt so embarrassed for the other two employees I really wanted to pull the troll aside and mention to him that he was being unprofessional and childish to yell at fellow coworkers like that in front of customers. Second, I noticed that he was wearing what looked to be open toed sandals. Now I happen to know for a fact that health code FORBIDS the wearing of open toed shoes in establishments serving food and groceries and as if that wasnt bad enough, at one point Ive noticed him without the sandals on and walking around in his socks. As stated before I frequent this location and have NEVER been greeted with a smile or acknowledgment by this man when I walk in the store or approach the counter with my items. All I've ever heard is him bellowing "Next!" and he does so with a negative tone in his voice and not a smile once. I also see him all the time smoking right in front of the door which it is illegal to be within 25ft of the entrance door with a cigarette in San Diego county. He looks as if he has crawled out of a sewer and not bathed for weeks and his uniform shirt is completely coated in what looks to be grease and other food debris like it hasn't ever been washed. The man clearly has a problem with personal hygiene in my honest opinion. Why the owner of this establishment would even consider keeping this man employed and making him a member of the managment team is beyond anything I can comprehend. If ANY of my employees acted in even the smallest way this man does I would have terminated them a very long time ago as he reflects poorly on this establishment and the owner. I did notice a sign the other week indicating a notice to transfer ownership so maybe the new owner or owners will do the right thing and terminate what I would call a pathetic excuse of an employee before he damages the store and owners image as well as the 7-11 brand or worse. I will be personally notifying the health department they should do a random inspection to see the shoeless man first hand. This used to be my favorite 7-11 in the PB area however this is no longer the case and will be avoiding the place like the plague it has become. If I could give half a star or no star at all I gladly would but theres no option for that. My advice to my fellow customers would be to do the same or if they have no choice but to go there, to do so during the day as the employees during the day dont seem to have issues like the troll man. My advice to the employees that work with him is to notify their Human Resources department that he is creating a hostile work environment for them and the customers as well. read more
