This review is only for the pharmacy! I came in yesterday after visiting an urgent care for TERRIBLE back pain. I could barely stand or walk. I knew if I didn't get them filled right then I wouldn't get them filled until the next day and I just couldn't do that. I gave them my script and hobbled over for painkillers and settled in for a bit of a wait. Still in so much pain I could barely open my eyes. Suddenly the voice of an angel announced my prescription was ready. A sweet lady let me cut the line and I picked it up. Honestly it was the fastest I had ever gotten a script filled but they could see my pain and wanted to help ASAP. Pharmacists don't have easy jobs, and I'm sure it's so stressful but the pharmacists here really do care about the people they see. Thank you ladies! I really love this CVS because firstly, it's open 24 hours, secondly, the store is always stocked, thirdly, the store is always clean, and lastly, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a private parking lot and there are always places to park. This store is located in a very clean and safe shopping center with a variety of stores to shop and eat. I've had it. This is my last time going there. I've just moved my prescription to Walgreens. I should have done that long time ago when I experienced problems with their refills. One of those was with my son's med. I've received a text message and emails informing that prescription was ready. When I go to the pharmacy, I'm told the med is not in stock and they need to order! OK. I'm a patient person, so I wait a few days till I get messages again informing that the med was ready for pick up. Again, I'm told the med is out of stock and needed to be ordered. So, why do they keep sending me these messages? Besides, what happened to the first time when they said they were going to order!!!??? It turns out, they still don't have any record of ordering the med. Of course, they messed up my order also, and I did not have my med as promised. Yes, same story. I've received multiple messages, but my order wasn't ready. I will never set my foot in this store again. Oh, I feel so much better already. read more

Lots of parking, nice people at the counter, usually has what I expected them to have, and the pharmacy has always done a good job for me. And they keep their magazine rack near the waiting area of the pharmacy. Good move CVS, good move. read more

A much much better location than others I have been to, especially the one on Camino Ruiz in Mira Mesa. I recently transferred all my prescriptions to this branch. The staff at this location are a lot more friendlier and professional. I so far haven't had any issues with this CVS (the others have constantly messed up my prescriptions). It also has a lot more parking, is a lot less crowded, clean and convenient. I would have to say this is my go to CVS within the area. Believe me, the service and entire experience at this CVS is better than the other branches, which is why this gets 4 stars from me. read more

This cvs has the absolute WORST customer service. I called 4 times and was put on hold each time for 15 minutes and no one ended up picking up the phone. The girl on the phone was extremely rude and was no help at all. When I was asked if I could be put on hold for the 4th time I said no and she replied with "well I'll be with you in a second" and put me on hold and never picked up the phone again. I LOVE this CVS and have and buy a LOT of stuff here. I've been amazed at the coupons and rewards and since I buy a lot here I get some excellent ones. What I like most about the store is that it goes beyond a typical pharmacy by offering a good selection of "health foods," energy drinks. and the CVS products are superb. I've switched to their razor blades and other CVS products. When I had a lot of rewards recently I bought the CVS figs, mango slices and apple slices. These were as good as at Sprouts, although the packaging was small. The staff is always great. But THIS typifies this store. I'm an entertainer and needed to shoot some videos yesterday but woke up with a big face rash. I didn't know what I was going to do...and then headed to CVS and asked for the manager to see what she would recommend. She took the time to come out and suggest a few products and even how to put one on. They were PERFECT and I could do the video. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

I gave this a 3 star rating ONLY because of Carol (5 stars!!!). I spent HOURS AND HOURS on a photo book for my first grandson's very first birthday. I fly back to Portland on the 6th and loved the allure of "same day" print. I saw online it was ready to picked up. So SO excited I rushed down only to be greeted with a rather persnicky Peggy, and to a photo array in shambles due to a faulty printer! UGH. I just wanted a bit of compassion. Plus I asked for the faulty photos (some of which could be salvaged for another person) and was told (and I kid you not), "No. We have to throw them away." Hey, Peggy, how about Reuse, Recycle, etc.!!!! Carol to the rescue... she explained the issue, offered to call other stores, gave me my prints AND the binder and told me to call her with any other questions!. I still love Carlos at the MM Westview location, but Carol is definitely #2!!! read more

I come here all the time - they are well stocked, clean and friendly. The pharmacy is very quick. My one problem is I have never really taken advantage of the store coupons...until today. I had a super helpful cashier, Lori, who noticed the items I was purchasing, actually walked me to the coupon machine, helped me print up a bunch of coupons and saved me over $60! I love it. Just moved into the area and had to find a new pharmacy. During the last three visits I've made, the pharmacists / pharmacy staff at this location are the most unhelpful, sour folks I've ever met. They are so unhelpful and a turnoff that it compelled me to review a pharmacy (really... who does that?). On a side note... I've been told by a few doctors to avoid using CVS for prescriptions. Never really understood what they had against CVS but now, I can see why. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

All the pharmacists and clerks are super-working hard even under stress (long line) with courtesy--they try their best: The leading senior pharmacist is fantastic professional, except one female Asian at the front line does not seem to fit it--like you owe her something? And the upper management is Incompetent at CTO and CEO levels--give respect to customers' culture. The computer system is a terrible screw-up. and will deny the customer's refill orders. I have to visit the store three time to correct this arrogance and finally wait for one hr to get the medicine on the third visit. NEVER ON the Proactive Program call request system (---if you do not respond all the time then--this stupid CVS system rudely eliminates you from the list of All service; at the last call ask you to do it yourself on the internet, and then never allow a telephone refill-As a Revenge??---The incompetent and arrogant upper management--failing their decent good employees and workers at the front line, should be fired! read more

By far the most welcoming CVS I have been in. There's another CVS closer to my apartment but it always seems messy. They sometimes have what I'm looking for in stock, but if you're a fellow couponer, this might not be the best place since I've noticed some items already gone by mid-morning on Sunday. Ugh avoid this CVS like crazy! I've had such bad experiences here. I only go if I've just left the urgent care across the parking lot and need my prescription right away. The pharmacy is AWFUL. The employees are rude and nothing is ever done on time. A refill on a prescription once took over 50 minutes when they told me it would be ready in 5. Today I was told my prescription was ready and when I got to the pharmacy to pick it up it took almost 10 minutes for them to finish it and help me. They also have problems with their system, I couldn't purchase advil cold and sinus at 9:50 this morning because in the morning the system doesn't allow people to buy medications with those ingredients in the morning....sorry I didn't realize there was a correct time to purchase my medications, could I get a copy of the correct purchasing schedule? In addition to that, CVS in general, in my opinion, is super over priced. My recommendation? Avoid this place as much as possible. read more

Came to pickup my prescription and the lady at the pickup window tells me she can't find my prescription. Called my doctors office and twice they tell me it was sent to CVS 8 hours ago. I now go to the drop-off window and explain the lady their the situation. She also tells me she can't find my prescription. A gentlemen working behind the counter told the drop-off window lady that he remembered seeing my prescription and with his help she found it in the system. So far so good. When I ask her why they have been able to find my prescription until now she said they just called in, which I know it is not true. No apologies, no further comment just "will you be waiting for your prescription?" Incredible! Somehow I feel like I am getting free service from CVI and getting typical government "tuff s$#%, so what?" Attitude. read more

This CVS store is fine in every way except that i was disappointed today to find that they don't carry recycled copy paper. They had two varieties of copy paper but neither was recycled content. In this day and age there is no reason to not sell recycled paper. It works just as well but is made from old paper instead of trees. CVS, please consider making this "green" change and carry recycled paper. read more

Why is the makeup section always not fully stocked? I like browsing makeup but for some reason their makeup is all over the place and sometimes incorrectly marked for price. Also, this location seems to have the temperature too low a lot of times so its freezing. On the bright side the staff for the most part are friendly. I can only recall one instance where the woman at the check out was unpleasant when I asked her a question about price. read more

Their cashiers are always really nice and the store is always clean. My main complaint with all CVS`s is that there is always long lines that are so slow!!! You can never go there, if you are in a hurry. They need to figure out the back up cashier situation. There is always one cashier and and no back up. So..... I went into this location to pick up a moneygram. I got up to the register and the male cashier ( he was a white male, currently on shift, it was around 440pm today August 27, 2018 (and I'm only identifying race because I do not his name and he should be put on front street for what he tried to do to me). He asks me if I would like a money order or cash and I said cash. I was texting on my phone while he was completing the transaction. I guess he assumed I wasn't paying attention because I was looking down at my phone but trust and believe I was paying full attention. I noticed he was fiddling around a little too long in the register while pulling out the cash. I knew in my head that he was going to try to pull something slick. So he gives me the receipt and counts my cash really quick as such "40, 60, 80, 100" ( I was picking up $100). He handed me the cash and I counted it again and it was only $80! This dude seriously tried to steal $20 from me! I told him that this is only $80 and he said "oh I must have dropped it in the drawer" like really dude? You didn't drop anything, you thought I was dumb, you thought I wasn't paying attention, so you tried to steal from me. I just wouldn't expect this kind of hoodrat behavior at this location. Never will I visit this CVS again since they have thieves working for them. Just imagine how many times this guy has stolen from other customers. read more

Today was a day of excellent customer service. I was in need of medication for my son. My wife ordered it, and noticed how high the price was. Long story short, pharmacy tech Lacey double checked to make sure the price was accurate, not even close. She ran it again through the system, and it came back to what we would normally pay. This CVS location is near where I live so I come here quite often. There's usually plenty of spaces for parking. Usually my experiences here are decent except for the handful of times where I've had the Asian lady (dont worry, I'm asian as well) as my cashier. She's pretty rude even after the multiple times I've had her as my cashier. Besides her, I'm pretty satisfied with the customer service from the other cashiers. But today, I've had the pleasure of having Mary as my cashier. She was patient with me and she was incredibly kind and sweet! I believe that phenomenal customer service is something that should be memorable and that was memorable for me. read more

I have been coming to this CVS for almost 20 years now. Though customer service is hit and miss, it is very convenient for me to go to this branch since it near our home. On January 2, 2019, I tried to redeem a Raincheck Coupon but manager refused to honor it because apparently it could not be true since the price on the coupon was markedly discounted. It was very humiliating to accuse me of lying and being a fraud. On my coupon, I could get 5 items but only 2 were available in the store. The manager insisted that the coupon cannot be true and that the signature on the coupon could not be from any of the employees there. She then offered to give me the raincheck price on one of the two items but not on both. I refuse to accept it because it is not a fraudulent coupon. The experience was very demeaning and humiliating especially being a minority. I then left and called CVS customer service as well as reported the incident on CVS Customer Support online. I was told by customer service that I will get a call by the regional manager in 24-48 hours which did not happen. I checked the box online that I would need a response regarding the incident and up to this time, there has been no response from CVS. I am currently seeking other avenues to air my grievances. read more
