Please DO NOT take the risk or waste your time getting your COVID test at CVS minute clinic. They promised a turnaround time of 2to 3 days, and I am now quarantined in Hawaii on day five with no test results. They've been impossible to reach and you're constantly getting the runaround. The staff is incompetent and everyone has a different story about what the policy is. It's a total cluster and drain on your soul and risk to your health and safety. I have another friend stranded on the island who had the same experience, and the staff at our hotel was well aware that CVS was consistently unreliable from experience with other guests. read more

This CVS pharmacy should not even be in existence! They completely ignored my request for medicine that I really need! It was my fault for waiting, I admit. For them to not understand my urgency is just a miscommunication perhaps but for them to completely ignore the request is unthinkable! All about strategy folks. When you have a large chain organization/business you have to approach them as different entities with different strengths. For instance, this CVS is awesome if you have to get something from the Pharmacy, quickest. If you want to be able to use a coupon even though it has collected dust and looks like your dog chewed it and it expired 5 days ago, go to the CVS on San Vicente in Brentwood, they just say "yes" and they will honor it, might just call the manager over to approve. They are really cool when it comes to coupons, high volume location. If you want a large selection of natural skincare products, as "Kiss My Face" & "Alba Botanica" and self-checkout machines @ 24 hours go to the one on Lincoln. Hope this helps! read more

This pharmacy is excellent! (Store #3903) The pharmacist, Marjan, always gives complete information about a medication and goes the extra mile to check on the insurance coverage. She also gives excellent shots! I always request Marjan for shots: my annual flu shot, MMR, shingrix, etc. I also can commend her assistants Jose and Diamond. They are all friendly, efficient and welcoming and know who I am, which is very comforting! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my medications. read more

Worst experience, do not go there, pharmacy can not perform basics, I'm talking about simple antibiotics, they couldn't perform simple transfer from store to store- from cvs to cvs. Incompetent. Very very poor customer service and telephone etiquette, pharm tech I spoke to today just hang up on me when i asked her a question and she would place me on hold without even telling me. I have given this CVS pharmacy plenty of times to redeem themselves but every time is a disappoint. This is my last visit! The employees, including the managers, always seem confused and lack knowledge of products, are not helpful or friendly, and every person looks like they HATE their job to the worst degree (just quit!) They ignore you, don't make any eye contact, and have horrible customer service. I work retail so I get how customers can be overbearing at times. I make sure to always be "easy" and a nice person but still get rude service from this location. I would advise you go elsewhere! read more

Out of all the pharmacies I have gone to, I have to say this one is the best one. I had my prescription transferred here from Rite Aid, and I have to say I am happier. I am also very happy with the techs that work there, especially Kris. She was very patient with me and helpful, and very sweet. She called my insurance to sort out some discrepancy and she remained on the line with them as long as it took to solve the issue. Everyone else that bitches and moans about the techs working at these pharmacies are assholes who think they are the only customers/patients that a pharmacy has. I am certain that working in Santa Monica and putting up with the conceited and stuck-up people there must not be the easiest thing. People living in that area all think that everything must be served to them in a silver platter. I give props to these workers who have not snapped and cussed out 90% of the people that they deal with. I have been standing in line behind horrible people that start yelling at these poor pharmacists and techs because they are told that their prescription will be ready in 30 minutes and not 10. If you do not want to be treated like crap, you should not talk to them like you own the world. There were 100's of people dropping off and calling in prescriptions. You were not the first one there. Generally, the staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and personable both at the cash registers and on the floor. In terms of the staff, however, there is one very GLARING EXCEPTION. I am referring to the pharmacy manager whose initials are D.L., and I am only specifying these initials in order to differentiate her from the other staff who are indeed very helpful and courteous. I have had to deal with her several times, and every time I had to ask her a question about an over-the-counter drug or such, she just sits there at her desk behind the computer that is several feet away from where the customer is. It is even more difficult these days, with the wearing of masks. One actually has to raise their voice in order to be heard.--That's not my only complaint. Her responses are extremely terse and dismissive as if she cannot be bothered with you, the customer. She sits there as if she were some kind of precious princess. While every one else in the staff treats one with respect, she acts as if you are bothering her, and that instead of being at 3202 Wilshire Blvd. In Santa Monica, she would rather be in Beverly Hills. She really need an attitude change. She is the only blight in what I consider a very well-staffed store. I don't think she should even be employed there, much less hold a relatively important position as pharmacy manager. She is quite a negative representative of CVS at that location. read more

PLEASE save yourself the stress and go elsewhere- even any other CVS. I live nearby and have been coming here for four years, but I think it's finally time i leave. My last three experiences: 1) Girl told me with plenty of attitude that my prescription never came in. I was very polite but refused to just give up and walk away, because I KNEW it had- she was very hesitant to try to help me solve the problem and just seemed to want me to go away. After about 20/30 minutes of this, she found my paper..sitting randomly and forgotten on a counter next to her computer -_- 2)This past my, she kept telling me that my insurance card wouldn't work, over and over again. I stepped aside, called the insurance, confirmed that it was good to go, and yet she kept telling me it wasn't working. This took about an hour- again, I wasn't budging, because i was about to leave town and needed my prescription...when she finally realized she was entering the numbers in wrong. 3) This week- Submitted my prescription request via PP Direct. Got an email confirming it, then got the automated call from CVS saying it was ready. Go to pick it up a few hours later, and suddenly their system says my insurance isn't authorized...the same card I used for my last prescription, and eventually worked just fine that time....This time I gave up and walked away. They can be very kind when they want to, but they can also be very rude and quick to just say "its not here", instead of helping you out- which often has ended up being THEIR mistake. Not once have I ever just walked in, gotten my prescription easily, and walked back out without issue. Lastly, don't expect them to ever answer the phone. Ever. Just don't come here for your pills, please- ESPECIALLY not ones that are time sensitive or crucial!! read more

How can you go bad with a CVS? They're the same everywhere. NOT so. I imagine this location only stays in business because it shares a parking lot and entryway with a BevMo. Always out of stock, this last visit was the last straw. I spent 20 minutes (!) AFTER she'd already scanned my items twice (!) because neither she nor her dopey manager understand the buy one get one free stickers on their own shelves. In fact, the manager says "Well, sometimes it's for the same item and sometimes it's across a brand, we don't really know." Well... shouldn't you find out? Isn't that why you get to wear big boy shirts instead of the uniform tees that the rest of the staff wears? Long story short, two more times of running my items and nearly half an hour just waiting for these morons to properly ring up my items and I grabbed my $11 off receipt coupon back from the bumbling teller and headed for the decent CVS just up the street. Staff is always friendly but they are slow as molasses. 2 seconds really means 20 minutes. I can attest to this personally as I sit here right now getting later and later for work as I wait for my Rx that was going to be ready "right away." BTW I was the only person at the pharmacy when I came in. So all this lovely lateness is just for me. read more
