The staff here is great! The pharmacy is always quick to help and find ways to save money on scripts!

I had nothing but issues until I went to a small local pharmacy. This Walgreens was constantly out of very normal medications that no other pharmacy has ever had an issue getting in stock. They would also never tell me if something was out of stock so I could go days or weeks without being notified. Their text system never worked properly either. It would sometimes alert me that a prescription was filled. However this was normally incorrect. I would finally get notified that a prescription was ready and I would drive over half an hour and they would tell me it would still be another 45 minutes and to pull around and just sit and wait. Leaving this Walgreens was the best decision. I am so much less stressed about my meds now that I go to a local pharmacy. The local pharmacy also answers the phone when you call instead of sitting through 15 minutes of robot phone menus.

They have GREAT difficulty filling a complete prescription for me in a timely manner. I hate to get down to my last pill and be told "we will get a delivery tomorrow after 3pm." GREAT. Another trip back then the container may be half filled "due to the manufacturer?!?" I have transferred many of my prescriptions to a mail order pharmacy in Southfield. This works great!

The two closest ones nearest me were this one, inside a Walgreens, and one in Farmington Hills, so since this one was only about 20-minutes away from me, I opted for it. I made an appointment for the test online, and when you arrive, there are kiosks (on the right-side of the store, once you walk in) where you check in. You will need your driver's license, as the kiosk scans it to gather your information. Someone will call your name, and then take you into the LabCorp area, which was like a mini doctor's office area and something you'd never guess was behind the doors! I didn't get the name of my technician but it only took her one poke to get my blood, which is pretty good in my book; I get bloodwork done frequently and sometimes it takes two or even three pokes. She told me 2-3 days for the results, but UNC has told me 2-4 weeks; when I asked UNC about it, they said normally the lab would give you the results in 2-3 days, but the 2-4 weeks is because they ship it to LabCorp in California and there are a few other steps that need to happen first before I can get the results. I got the test because I want to know if I have COVID-19 antibodies (I have been vaccinated, but am on immunosuppressants), but most people get it to see if they've ever been infected with COVID, I believe.

A worker named Pedro spent the whole time arguing with me just because I exercised my freedom of speech about their overpriced $4.39 sandwiches. The worst part happened as I was already walking out of the store. Instead of calming things down, a woman claiming to be the manager stepped up to defend Pedro's behavior and told me to get out. This woman looked completely unprofessional--like a junkie with no teeth in her mouth--and she actually called me a 'b****' while I was leaving. She didn't even know what was going on, she just jumped in to be disrespectful. I am 61 years old and I meant what I said: this place is a disgrace. I will never patronize this business again and I'm warning the Black community to take their money elsewhere. This manager and her staff have zero respect."

(All along nearby Starr Batt and Avon industrial Drive are businesses with large fleets filling up, especially the landscaping trucks throughout grass mowing season - morning, lunchtime and end of day. No problem. BUT it's VERY busy. so it is completely BEWILDERING to me that this owner continues to neglect the customer experience by not Keeping the pumps in prime operating condition! They are too often out of service, and at this point, 90% of the time, the receipt will not print so I have to go inside (even during the peak of Covid) and stand in line to get my receipt! WHY? I've spoken to the cashiers, but they say the owner is aware and that it's not about just refilling the paper rolls - The machines are broken. Obviously he just doesn't care that he is holding up the process and inconveniencing his customers. This has been going on easily for the past year or two, and it's gotten worse. Today's machine would not read my card. So, after years of tolerating the inconvenience (below freezing today...) I gave up and drove down the street to the BP. Fine, so what if it cost $.50 more to fill up my tank, I don't have to wait and I don't have to go inside to get my receipt. these small conveniences make a difference in the flow of your day, stopping to fill up your tank... i've been patient. And I'm done being patient. I'm going somewhere else and I hope other people who have had the same frustrations will too and the owner will get the message.

I thought that was convenient, consist lots of places have adjusted/shortened hours due to the pandemic. I was at another Rite Aid last night and noticed a lot of markdowns, some up to 75% off. I figured I kill a few seeing if this location had any good deals. Outside the doors the neon pink tape on the cement advised you of what we already know- 6 FEET SOCIAL DISTANCE! Upon entering the store I was greeted by a gentleman, I said good morning in return. I quickly walked the store and noticed mostly full shelves. Your typical convenient store- snacks, beauty items, OTC drugs/medicine, pharmacy with Drive Thru, greeting cards, seasonal items, and photo area. They also sell cold beer, have whole isle of wine and liquor, even all the mixers and ready to drink fu-fu drinks. It's really one stop shopping for basic things ie milk, bread and eggs to avoid the bigger grocery stores. I grabbed a few items off the 75% off end cap and also noted that they were completely out of paper products. Again with the toilet paper- why!? I checked out and was asked for my rewards card through the plexiglass by the cashier. Those were the only words she said to me. I grabbed my bag with my 4 items and headed to my truck to sanitize my hands. Yes I wore my mask, seems like you can't walk into a place without these days.
