Paid $34.63 for two items and when I returned them (unopened) CVS system refunded $27.70! The POS system added a 20% employee discount to my refund when it wasn't present on the original purchase. SHORTAGE OF $6.93. The cashier; Jill, couldn't give me the rest of my money. $6.93. She brought up the store manager, Josh to resolve. Josh offered only $6.50 in extra bucks (that was the 20% discount amount not the correct refund missing amount; missing .43). I declined the incorrect refund and method of refund. Josh then told me to call ShopCVS to resolve. Since is a CVS issue, I asked Josh to call and handle this because I paid full price, no discounts. Internal should have a direct line. Over an hour later and two calls to ShopCVS since they hung up on Josh, the whole time the front LINE was more than FIVE PEOPLE LONG (plus a line at Pharmacy), resolution was reached to refund my total price paid. The level of customer service to resolve this 100% should have been offered not requested by consumer, but CVS corporate is stingy with coverage (evident by the line) causing 1 hour of management's time over $6.93. Terrible Customer Service at ShopCVS for customers and employees! At the end, the shortage in my money refunded was resolved and I will return for other needs. read more

Idk the cashiers name but Indian lady at cvs at 5:51 pm on 3-14-25 She shows selective and makes up her own rules. I have $10 cash on my app and she won't let me use it on my 2.99 crackers. I have previously used it at many other cvs and remainder of my cash stayed till expire date. She didn't even wear a badge with her name. I also bought a gift card and asked for a gift receipt and she didn't print it out. She said press on pin pad but no receipt got printed. She showed no attitude to the guy in front of me and explained so well on his photos. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY.... Do your best to stay away from this CVS Pharmacy on oak tree road. It is managed by incompetent and rude people. They have no compassion or sense of urgency while people are sick and waiting for their medication. Do not bother going here unless you really want to be irritated by this young kids running the show over there. First of all, I show up to the pharmacy at 1:45 to pick up a prescription for my daughters flu medication. There is the main pharmacist there literally sitting down eating food while scrolling on his phone. I asked him for some assistance and he said he cannot do anything and they open back up at 2pm. I asked if he could please help me because i needed my daughters medication and she was very sick. He said there was nothing he could do because the systems were down. I later found out the only reason they close from 1:30 to 2pm is just so they could have lunch. This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. Now, I am not saying that they cannot have lunch, but use your head and split up the team. Alternate lunches so that there is always someone there to work on prescriptions and or assist customers that arrived at that time. So i go to my car and patiently wait until 2:00pm. I return only to be waiting in line to go up to the counter. As I stood there waiting in line I see all the little young adult assistants start to file into the work area. As I approach the counter the young lady asks if I am picking up, I calmly replied yes and gave her all the info. She said it was not ready and it would take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to take care of. She pointed towards some chairs and asked me to please be seated and they will call me when ready. As i sat there for 20 minutes I finally asked when will my prescription be ready. The time sitting their watching the entire staff giggling and playing on their cell phones put me over the edge. they young lady at the counter gave me an attitude as if it was my fault the nobody was working on my prescription, but i could not let this slide without calling them out on the unprofessionalism that i was witnessing. Long story short... I ended up getting out of their 45 min later with the medication I needed for my daughter which was waiting in the car throughout this whole fiasco. Don't waist your time people, go to the CVS on Plainfield Ave instead. the place is run by professionals and will treat you with warmth and compassion. Seems like the one on Oak Tree road is just a stepping stone for pharmacist that are just putting their time and and really could care less on how patients are feeling. read more

I came here twice in the last month for both of my Covid vaccine shots. The staff here was amazing! They were completely organized, and both my appointments were on time. The staff was super polite, and the check in was easy and only took a few minutes. I was in and out both times within a half an hour. I never waited more than 10 minutes to be vaccinated. I was very impressed with the set up here. The shots were painless. I did get sore the next day, but after a day or so I felt better. I highly recommend coming here to get vaccinated. read more

DO NOT USE this pharmacy. The head pharmacist Mitesh Patel is the an incompetent and dangerously negligent person. I don't know how this man has remained employed and licensed with the way he conducts himself as a pharmacist. He cause me to have days delay in getting my prescription. Stating that the reason was that my insurance was receiving no claim from cvs because my insurance provider had all my incorrect personal info, which was a blatant lie. My insurance provider even offered to speak to the pharmacist directly, which of course never happened because this pharmacist was determined to blame everyone but the literal only possible source of error, which was him and his team in putting in the claim. I literally had to have the PA put the prescription at a different family owned pharmacy that had it filled in under one hour. This is not a safe pharmacy to go to, incompetent head pharmacist, MITESH PATEL, who can't seem to use his own computer system to fill a very basic prescription. read more

Worst run business in town. Unfriendly staff, pharmacist. Waited 10 minutes at the drive through window, rang bell, used my cars horn, nothing. When I banged on the window, the pharmacist waived me away. This after I made several attempts to speak in the phone with someone, on two occasions I waited in excess of 15 minutes before hanging up. What's going on? Are we the consumers the forgotten species? I have no problems with other CVS's, had a tremendous experience with one in Metuchen (closed) as well as the one on Inman, excellent staff as well (farther). CVS-Oak Tree, do your community a favor, and close your doors, invest on educating your employees some people skills, while reviewing your business model. read more

Pharmacy has awful service. First I couldn't make out a word the pharmacist was saying due to a very heavy accent. Then she's told me they were out of the medicine I needed it and told me to go check one on Inman. Reason why two stars one she should of call the one on Inman for me which she didn't do and course they didn't have it either. 2nd you need and should have a pharmacist that speaks English clearly and princely, it's critical for clear communication with that job or else wrong proscription could be filled. read more

My husband went Tuesday morning for covid 19 testing and was told the results will be emailed to him in 2 to 4 days. We hope to get the info sooner so I waited on hold for 1:40 with Min Clinc (the Lab) we are told that it will in fact take 5 to 7 business days. We live in NJ a state that is not overwhelmed at this time there is no reason for this. Other businesses are 2 days max like City MD, so do not go through this company to get testing done. Rochelle Philips, the Pharmacy Manager at 1204 Park Avenue, Plainfield, NJ, adamantly refused to give me my 3rd vaccine DESPITE my appointment for one being confirmed by CVS. She rudely stated that my compromised health issue, Diabetes and being being 71 yrs old does not qualify as my being health-compromised. I showed her a statement from my PCP stating that I am in fact immuno-compromised and require a 3rd vaccine. Assuming I made an error in filling up my application for a vaccine she could have simply allowed me to correct it considering I travelled an hour just to get the vaccine based on CVS' confirmation. Unfortunately she did not. I am therefore left wondering why CVS would confirm an appointment only to have the Pharmacy Manager not honor its commitment. Did she decline giving me the vaccine because she was actually racially discrimanting against my being Asian? In whatever case, I am holding CVS liable should my health be further compromised in any way, including but not limited to, contracting the virus, etc., because I was unduly refused the required vaccination. In view of the foregoing and because of the mental anguish I suffered by her brash treatment I demand an apology and restitution from CVS. read more

I would like to start by saying that I never write reviews about places but after dealing with this CVS, I felt like I needed to write one. I go to CVS pharmacy because of the limitations of my insurance plan (Caremark). I always pick up the same prescription every month. Every time I am in there is always a long line and some sort of a problem. I had to wait for a pre-authorization from my insurance company, which only took one day; however, the pharmacy never got back to me. After a week, I continued to call back and finally they told me the medication was out of stock. They never follow up and I am yet to run into a friendly pharmacist or a technician. I would avoid at all cost. I am switching to a new CVS location I would advise you to do the same. read more
