I'm not one to post negative reviews on employees or healthcare staff unless needed. Went to this location after coming from the ER at 1 something in the morning. The staff informed me that my medication was not ready and wouldn't be ready until 2:30 or 2:45. After the pharmacist break. Cool. I'll come back in an hour I guess no problem. That was on me for coming right over after the e.r. Went home came back at 2:45 gave them until 2:50 just incase. walked in to my surprise the gates of the pharmacy were closed. Gave them until 3 am just incase. Come 3 am still nothing. Asked staff if the pharmacy was closed. She informed me they would open back up at 4 am. Now why wasn't I informed of this when I was told medication wouldn't be ready until 2:45, after the pharmacist break. Common curtesy to let someone know "hey we're actually closed from X to X" But neither the staff that was helping or pharmacist bothered to mention "we're closed at x time" Update: returned at 9:45 am. Only to be told it was still not ready and would take another 15 min. Good luck if you are coming from the hospital past 2 am. And if you're not from the area. I get that they are overwhelmed with orders but also let people know if you'll be closed. read more

Wow! I went in here for a card and for a bottled cocktail to take to a party and I'm wishing I would've checked the reviews before I stepped in this place. I don't know what happened but there are some older short dude who has a major attitude problem in the store. I'd love to use cuss words but I'm kind of in shock that this person is employed here. Also another customer walked in to let the store know that someone busted a window in the parking lot of somebody's car and took something out in broad daylight. In literally a full parking lot. The store is well-organized, HOWEVER the parking lot is unsafe due to dangerous people! This area is less safe than before, especially compared to other 24/7 CVS stores. Also, there's no self-checkout. Be cautious when parking and shopping. The beauty section closes early, so plan accordingly. read more

Employees at the Tarzana location are unprofessional and rude, especially a young cashier on Sundays with a cross earring who pretends to be an assistant manager. The store is poorly maintained, understaffed, often out of stock, and lacking assistance. Despite this, they have two security guards to intimidate customers. Horrible store--avoid it. read more

Veronica and abou at the pharmacy were incredibly disrespectful and I absolutely can't understand how an employee can be this angry about their own life to take it out on customers. Meh. Nothing special. This location is in the Vons parking lot. There is plenty of parking. There is usually someone begging or sleeping by the door. There is usually an encampment on the side of the building with trash. A red box vending machine is usually near this location too. There is a water machine near here too. The store is typically clean. The parking lot is usually dirty. Sometimes the staff is rude but not always. You can find your main drug store items here, snacks, toiletries, and makeup etc. They have a photo section here but there is terrible service with the photo department. They have wine and alcohol here. They also have a freezer section if you would like ice cream. They have a pharmacy here too. It's not my favorite store but it's a good place to go if you happen to be in the area. You can always rely on a mile long receipt though! read more

I go to pick up my prescription today. I get a line later than the next person in line. I'm opening up my phone to open up this barcode. So they can scan, and here comes this karen. She gets in the barcode scan line even though i'm next, and I have my barcode open. The pharmacy assistant took her first like dude. I was next granted. I was like in the wrong line. Because I was busy opening my barcode cuz I was having trouble finding it, but you clearly looked at my phone, you saw my barcode. Then, you went over and helped Karen, Karen saw it also. What kind of customer service is this? This pharmacy sucks? The customer's service is horrible. The daytime pharmacy's the Caucasian female is not a very nice person. 1) She argues, 2) they double bill you for a prescription. So they commit fraud. Then there is the nighttime pharmacist, I believe he's African American, refuses to fill a prescription at night. What's the point of having a 24 hour pharmacy? I had a very disappointing experience at this store AGAIN. When I politely declined a paper receipt, opting for an emailed one instead, the sales associate, Bajan, responded rudely. He made unnecessary comments, implying that 'rich' people like me don't need paper coupons. I was shocked by his attitude and felt it was unprofessional. And no I'm not being a Karen. If you're working in customer service then you should have the proper skills to uphold your position. This is what's wrong with society nowadays! I normally wouldn't write a review like this, but I hope management takes note. It's unfortunate when an employee's dissatisfaction with their job spills over into how they treat customers. I was there on Thursday October 30, 2025 and I am still confused about my receipt. I had bought some D-3 vitamins which were buy one get one free and used my OTC card for them. I carefully separated these from my purchases and presented my OTC card. The cashier ignored me and rang up everything at once. My problem? What happened to my 30% off coupon? He said " oh it's here & pointed to my free BOGO purchase. At the same time, took it out of my Scan card, like I made two purchases. Is this right? I agree with many of the previous reviews in terms of being in a shady area, every time I go in there's some homeless people or drug induced someone screaming and what not. Then by the time I go in to drop off a prescription, the lady who checks people in is rude consistently. This has been going on for a few years now. This location just needs to shut down. The surrounding exterior is run down, dirty and unsafe. This store never has what I need, even its own branded products are always out of stock. A lot of products are locked up. What an inconvenience to shop here. Shut the place down. What's the point of staying open if this place has nothing of value, and what ever is of value is locked up so you have to hunt down an associate to get soap. Poor service. All associates look at you like you're stealing. Everything is priced ridiculous. There are no self service check outs, so the line is always a longer wait than necessary. The cashiers are slow. I have been using this pharmacy for 20 years. I absolutely dread going there. The staff are the meanest, rudest and most unhelpful ever. I am here now at midnight waiting for a prescription which I need immediately. I have been yelled at ( literally) because they don't have it. Will not transfer it to another pharmacy. S aid the could not give me a partial fill and pick up the rest when in stock. Then changed her mind and said it would take an hour plus to fill. Enough. I'm standing here at 4.30 AM, and the pharmacist is refusing to even acknowledge me at the front of the line after arriving directly from the emergency room. When I did get some assistance, it was short, curt and rude. At this point I take every survey from the pharmacy, regardless of if the service was good or bad and fill out the survey as exceptionally bad, as it is so horrible all the time there is always something wrong to address. I've only ever filled two prescriptions here and didn't have a problem either time, just a small wait so I can't attest to what everyone else is saying on that front... that said this CVS is well kept, recently redone in the front end of the store and easy in and out. I love shopping in the seasonal and clearance sections as they are kept well and full... the dollar item section has been moved toward the back left end of the store which I don't think was a smart move... but they do tend to move seasonal and home good items most. I got a great deal on a wine rack shelf a few years back and usually get holiday lights here after halloween and x-mas. I don't live within walking distance anymore, but would frequently stop in for items, snacks, booze, booze gift sets and deals. The customer service in my experience is very neighborhood friendly... the occasional welcome side eye sass for this regular, but always polite... and that's even stopping in here as late as 2 or 3am after the gym on a weekend. The parking lot is shared with Mort's, Vons and a few small businesses. Close to lots of other shops, eateries and fun spots. The bathrooms aren't open to the public and I don't blame them. The do have redbox(es) in front, which is a plus. read more

They can't find prescription, someone puts it on hold, the next day I get text that it's ready for pick up I come to the pharmacy stand in line with sick people and they tell me they don't have anything. Even the nail files are locked up! I had to search for a while to find someone to unlock them. Many items are missing from the shelves, based on lots of empty spaces. Normally I wouldn't include a parking lot in my review but this one is in need of serious repair. Generally the area just looks run down (even though the overall neighborhood isn't bad). I dont like this location. There are homeless camps surrounding the building that are making the area look cluttered. I only go here in an emergency or to pick up a prescription as it is closest to my home. Parking is good as it shares with Vons. The recent remold had improved the overall look and feel of the store. Wow! A 24 hours 7 days a week pharmacy! It's like most all CVS Pharmacies, busy and can be expensive if you don't use Good Rx or have insurance. It's a big store and they have just about everything a drug store should. What makes this pharmacy so great is the lead pharmacist, List. She's absolutely fantastic. They are usually very busy but she remains kind and will treat you with warmth.
