Parking in front of the store. Seems safe. Not sure if I'd visit late at night but day light hours it's cool. Inside is a awesome! Wait.

Helen is a very helpful employee. She has a joyful personality. They have a full convenient shop from A-Z seriously. Full Deli-Fast Food made fresh-house necessities-Great wine selection- and good parking. Prices are a touch higher but you're paying for convenience believe it! I'll be back with a friend for lunch for sure. Thanks Helen

I now know definitively where to find it. They've also added the most incredible soft serve ice cream to their offerings. I also spotted that they now serve prosciutto which I was unaware of in the past and they have what appeared to be some delicious looking Caesar salads premade for about $15. I'm currently completely addicted to this amazing peanut nougat chocolate that they have. It's $5.50 a pop so as my original review states this place is Not exactly the $.99 cent only store but it's amazing selection of goods shows the purveyors attention to selection. They're keen on what they bring into the store and it shows. I've had a few bottles of wine from here. They were all yummy. I've yet to try any of their cheese, but it looks fantastic. As I go, I spend more and more time cruising what they have- they always have fine looking produce and I know occasionally they carry chanterelles. I do hope to scoop up some of those on a future visit (in season only of course). It does seem they really honor the seasonal pallet of things and from what I can tell most of their produce is local. They've also added a really lovely outdoor patio. All in all I'm very grateful this place in the canyon. They've saved me on a number of occasions when no dinner recipes came quickly to mind or when a soup hankering struck!

This store is like a combo of AJ's, Whole Foods, and other upscale markets...located in Calabasas so think pricey!!! They offer tons of organic, ethically-sourced foods, have a huge hot and cold area of fresh made foods. Their huge hot-food selection area had so many breakfast offerings to choose from. Their produce area is amazing and fabulous and the rest of the store offers so many varieties of upper scale products. It's expensive for sure but you get what you pay for! Everyone we encountered as we browsed and talked with were friendly, helpful, and really made the whole experience top notch! For breakfast we choose a few different things from the fresh food bar...bacon, potatoes, a slice of avocado toast and wife chose the baked sweet potato topped with an egg. So dang good and healthy and we felt so good not eating fast food! The avocado toast was the best I've had with smashed avocado topped with sliced hard-boiled egg and pea sprouts. The bacon was crispy and flavorful and the potatoes were great. I wish I would have taken more photos because they had so much to offer! Right off the 101 in Calabasas, this is a great break on a road trip and will satisfy anybody looking for a meal or snack. We also got some strawberries, nuts, apples, and wife got some of the Seven Ade lemonades...this brand is hard to find and she loves it when she does!

Been here a few times now and it's been great other than the usual stares I've grown up with. That doesn't bother me. What bothered me today was the first time purchase of just a couple steaks from the butcher. One dry aged and one tbone. The dry aged was fine. My issue is the tbone. What I saw in the butcher display showed the usual two cuts on the bone. Going home I found that the Filet part was cut and missing. If that's the case I would have just gotten a NY strip. I am disappointed in that and was never something I grew up with and expected from a market like BF. Next time I am there I will be saying something and want to check and see what exact cut I am getting. Thank you.

She runs the balloon center at this Ralph's location and is so helpful! You should know that not all balloons are created equal. If you want nice helium filled ones, you're going to need good quality balloons. I got some from Daiso and the Dollar Store and they just didn't look like they were going to hold up. The price for helium balloons is the same whether you buy the balloon there at Ralph's or if you bring your own. So you might as well go with the quality assured balloons they sell at Ralph's. Each basic solid colored balloon was well under $2 and Tara ties it up nicely with ribbon and an anchor, and she will arrange them for you too if you want them in a nice bunch! The big shiny Mylar balloons come in a ton of shapes and sizes and they were about $13-15 including the balloon and helium, with string and anchor. These last a while too! Ralph's on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills is my go to for helium filled balloons! They're all over the store. I left the cart and walked out because it was so unsettling. speaking of the homeless, I've seen shoplifting here happen with impunity YET they will be sure to card a 40 year old for alcohol and charge you for a paperbag. I also remember going to a Ralph's in the AM and I could do my shopping unobstructed because they would stock before they opened, but in a genius attempt to inconvenience everyone and probably save money, they stock during business hours so you've got people in the aisles working and stocking right when they open. If sprouts sold everything i needed, I'd keep my business there but there is no good alternative for some basics

Managers have always been considerate and respectful. Trader Joe's is consistently one of the coolest companies I've done business with. That was until I had to deal with Jason C, who claims to be the manager at the Trader Joe's on Ventura in Woodland Hills. I arrived at exactly 9:00 PM after spending a grueling hour trying to get to the store from my home in the mountains, after dealing with numerous setbacks. I only needed one item and I needed it desperately to prepare a medicinal tincture. There was nowhere else I knew of that would have it. And I would not be able to return the next day or anytime soon because I'm getting ready to go out of town. I pleaded my case with Jason and he had no consideration or respect for my situation and said at 9:01 that he would not allow me to get this item, despite the store still being actively full of people. I have been shopping at the store since it opened years ago. I've never seen this dude before and I swear to never see him again, because I'm not coming back. As a result, this ruined an entire batch for me. A heavy loss. I typically spend $500-$600 a month in this place and to be treated with such disrespect and a complete lack of consideration, aggravates me to the core. A successful manager has the capability to discern a situation instead of following the letter of the "law", following the intent, and taking care of customers that keep one in business when there are many other choices. Jason failed miserably, in my observation and experience... This is as much of a warning to Trader Joe's execs as it is the patrons. I have spent 4 decades creating promotional media/commercials for businesses. An inconsiderate manager can ruin a business' reputation to the point that no amount of advertising can salvage. Jason is an obedient drone that follows corporate policy to the letter, yet fails miserably at taking care of the customers, the "intent" of any successful manager. One's profit does not come from the Corporate office, it comes from the customers... To add insult to injury, he wishes me a wonderful evening... After he just ruined it... If it was me I'd replace him with someone who can make customers happy, in place of one that inspires them to spend their precious time warning humanity against him... to spare one the frustration, endured as a result...
