Its a stuffed bagel topped with butter, garlic, cheese. Gelsons does not make them in house. They are delivered from LA. Calabasas is one of 5 Gelsons that has them. I took 2 home and baked them. They were so good. Gelsons is great for special occasions. Lots of good stuff. Expensive stuff.

I notice the price points here are slightly higher. (Makes sense. After all, this IS Malibu.) It isn't too bad, though, but what I do like are the coupons you can clip online and use in the store. We did find a few bargain buys we felt we could use for the weekend, so all good! I found a bit of trouble using the app and the cashier, like a pro, showed me with such ease. She was really nice! This might be a one and done (at least for awhile since I don't live anywhere around here) but a good first run at that. Should there be a repeat of that weekend run? This place would be my go-to!

When I get fish there, I almost never have to remove bones from the filets. I can't say that from other stores. We get their coupons in the mail for weekly specials, which are great deals. And, if you are a senior, I believe 62 and older, you can get a 10% discount on EVERYTHING on Tuesdays! The thing that sets this Bristol Farms apart from other places is their customer service! My encounters with the folks working there have been so pleasant, and some favorites that I have to recognize are Ty at the meat counter, Marchant in seafood, and Angie in the bakery. My all-time favorite checker was Tania, but she recently left. The one time that I had an item that didn't meet the standards I expected from Bristol Farms, I sent direct feedback to their corporate offices via their website. She runs the balloon center at this Ralph's location and is so helpful! You should know that not all balloons are created equal. If you want nice helium filled ones, you're going to need good quality balloons. I got some from Daiso and the Dollar Store and they just didn't look like they were going to hold up. The price for helium balloons is the same whether you buy the balloon there at Ralph's or if you bring your own. So you might as well go with the quality assured balloons they sell at Ralph's. Each basic solid colored balloon was well under $2 and Tara ties it up nicely with ribbon and an anchor, and she will arrange them for you too if you want them in a nice bunch! The big shiny Mylar balloons come in a ton of shapes and sizes and they were about $13-15 including the balloon and helium, with string and anchor. These last a while too! Ralph's on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills is my go to for helium filled balloons! They're all over the store. They have tons of variety and Tara is the person who runs the balloon center there and she's helpful!

The space itself? Massive, the kind that you'd dream of if you wanted to play hide-and-seek as a child in a public shopping area. (Obviously, don't be hiding and seeking here, though, unless you're a well-sought after item, which in that case you'd be a natural at it.) Paying was fairly easy, and like all Trader Joe's locations, every station was worked by a caring staff member taking care of your items from scan to bag. Overall, the classic Trader Joe's experience with less claustrophobia.

Fortunately, this location of Trader Joe's still had every color available! Yippee! These bags make great gifts! They are washable, strong, practical, and cute! I had several requests to bring them home... my luggage is really stuffed now... respect since there was a good selection of greeting cards... I couldn't resist! I was also able to use the convenient restroom! I appreciated the very spacious, clean, bright, and organized interior! Free shared parking is also appreciated! Service was friendly, helpful, and efficient! I sure would return again if I was in the area!

I would buy lemons here, more skin then lemon !! You cannot modify your box contents but you can add to them. I figured spending this amount would be a nice variety. This is what I received: veggies 3 bunches of celery (out of all the juicing veggies celery is my least favorite) 4 bunches of beets (nice quality) 2 black kale (ok) 2 collard greens (1 bunch was way less then the other & slightly wilted) 3 med cucumbers 4 mini zucchini green (all 4 fit within the palm of my hand) 3 mini yellow zucchini (all 3 fit in my hand too) fruits 6 navel oranges 9 oranges (varying soft) 1 tangelo Maybe because I used a coupon for 10 off? But you would think SavRaw would want to keep my business. I understand whats in season, but what they are advertising is very different. And don't give me "bottom of the barrel" produce just because its for juicing. Carrots and maybe a different variety of fruit would of been acceptable. As it stands I will not want to get another box. Ps its not all organic either which should be more cost friendly.

I…read morestarted subscribing to SavRaw Farmbox in January 2014 and was so pleased with this local, family owned business and the quality of their food that I decided to volunteer with the company. Let me say that the produce is awesome, but it is so much more than that. Subscribing and volunteering with SavRaw has undoubtedly been one of the best things that could have happened to me. Not only have I majorly improved what I put into my body and my overall health, I also feel rooted to the food that I am eating because I know where it is coming from. Now that I've been eating SavRaw produce for over a year, I can literally TASTE the difference between their produce and what you can buy in the market. Even organic produce purchased from Whole Foods or Trader Joe's just can't compare!!! If you are concerned about eating only certified organic, it is important to note that many small farmers cannot afford the cost of becoming certified. This does not mean a lower quality product or that they are using conventional industrial agriculture practices!!! I have found that these farmers go above and beyond what it takes to become certified organic, eschewing pesticides and implementing sustainable practices in their farms. It is clear that they put so much care and attention into growing the best food possible, and the produce proves it. SavRaw's owner, Kali, has a personal relationship with each farmer she works with, taking the time to learn about their individual practices and struggles out on the farm. Personally, I'd much rather prefer to support these local, small farms as opposed to large, company-owned chain health food stores. By subscribing to SavRaw farm box, you will inherently begin eating seasonally, and enjoy a variety of truly local foods. I've started to really enjoy this way of eating. I now look forward to the foods that I eat during their natural growing season, let me tell you a tangerine is SO exciting when you haven't had one since the previous season! The variety is great because when left to our own shopping habits, most people tend to purchase and eat the same foods over and over. By eating a variety of foods, you will automatically be consuming a wider variety of nutrients, without even having to think about what to buy at the market. One of the benefits that I enjoy the most is how long the food lasts. I swear I have saved produce even up to 4 weeks (and longer) that still tastes incredibly fresh. Of course this is my own experience and it depends on the veggie, some produce naturally lasts longer than others, but I've been able to keep food fresh for much, much longer than any produce I have ever purchased before. Since SavRaw's produce is picked only days before it is delivered to you, the shelf life can be extended well beyond what you are used to buying in the grocery store. In the end, this saves so much money because you don't end up throwing away food that has gone bad before you can eat it. I should also mention that on the rare occasion that a customer is not satisfied with their order, Kali makes every effort to correct the issue. Just email her and she's more than happy to make it right! That's the difference with a small, local family owned company like SavRaw. Customers have the opportunity to communicate directly with the owner of the business. If you want something that isn't listed on the website, contact Kali and she is always quick to respond. With this post I wanted to share my experience to people interested in subscribing to a CSA farm box, to help others in their search for the CSA that is right for them.
