I drop one off and come back the next day and they say "ok we will fill it now" I will call ahead and ask if it's ready and be told yes, but when I get there I am told "ok we will fill it now! Worst pharmacy around. Have one prescription that my other pharmacy couldn't fill right away (had to order). So I made the mistake of bringing it here. Brought it in at 8am. They asked when I want to pick it up. Told them in an hour. They said okay. Retuned 1 1/2 hours later, prescription was not ready. They said they were just finishing it up will be a couple of minutes. That couple of minutes took 45 minutes. If you have to take a prescription there. Turn in your prescription. Tell them you'll wait for it then go back the next day to pick it up. That's your best bet with that place. They tell you that there "sorry for the wait", but if they really were sorry for the wait they would have done something about their problem that they had for years. If you are looking for a great pharmacy in the area Kovacs-Frey Pharmacy is your best bet. Compare the reviews between the two and you will see. read more

If there ever was the worst pharmacy award, 190th CVS will get it every year. Anytime i go, there are lines of customers waiting for pickup and the customer service agents take sweet ass time. Today was the last straw. I dropped prescription a week ago for one of my kid. I got txt message from CVS to pickup yesterday. I went to store to pick it up. After waiting 20 minutes in pickup line, they asked me to go to drop off line. Another 15 minutes wait and they told me to wait for another hour to pickup the medicine. I showed them the txt and they told me they don't control the text messages. I am not going to this CVS ever again... BAAADD customer service, BAAD service over all.. read more

They take my prescription and then say they wait for 20 minutes. 1 hour go by and no update. They say they will call when medicine is ready but never call. I come back the next day, they say, they dont have my prescription at all and they dont know where they kept it and that they cannot give me medicine!! When I said, " you took the prescription and did not issue me medicine", the store guy (slightly old and in blue uniform) says "I did not take your prescription. I cannot help you until morning until the manager comes in by 8 AM". So am I supposed to really take this shit from you guys? I mean what do you mean 8AM? try telling that to my body that needs medicine and is already late by 48 hours. This freaking store on 190th is the crappiest store ever and this deserves to be closed. In fact with the behavior is got from one other young staff person (male) who says "I dont know where the prescription is. I can look again if you like. I dont know how to help you. I cannot give you medicine on goodwill." I am extremely disappointed with the attitude of the staff here. I am never returning to this store. I will see if i can file a lawsuit against this store for the frustration and anxiety this whole deal has caused. read more

Every time I call the pharmacy, it's 30 minutes to an hour for a response. That's way too long for a pharmacy to respond for medical advice. In fact, it should be illegal to advertise that you can "call their pharmacy 24 hours a day" for advice if they can't respond in a reasonable amount of time, say 5-10 minutes. Much better calling the hospital or 911 for drug interactions. The cvs personal complain that cvs has closed all 24 hour pharmacies within 25 miles. So "sit tight and wait for a pharmacist". I will start moving prescriptions to the best online company I can, and lobby my congressman/woman for advice regarding this serious impending dilemma . read more

I waited 1 1/2 hours to get a friends prescription filled! WTF? It was a walk-in prescription to be filled but I still think that 1 1/2 hr. wait is just unacceptable. It is for that reason that I don't ever go to any CVS pharmacy for my prescriptions. The Indian lady pharmacist there was snobby and not empathetic at all. I hate this pharmacy. Out of my many visits I have not been able to get in and out of the pharmacy in less that 30 minutes. It's a waste. All the spam texts and voicemail calls saying it is ready to pick up. If you have the patience to stand awkwardly in line for 20 minutes for what you were told was "ready" to be told its not ready... Wait another 20 minutes seems to be the common phrase. I'm actually writing this review as I sit. Honestly I have not had one quick, efficient, or positive experience at cvs pharmacy. I would give no stars if possible I'm sure the front cashiers are fine however coming to the pharmacy was most unpleasant, after almost a 1.5 hour visit to an urgent care, having to come to this pharmacy because it's close and on the way home, attitude city from pharmacist and technician. People come here sometimes not feeling well and an attitude is the last thing they need, not visiting this cvs on any other ever again. I stopped coming here a few years ago but I decided to go back because I needed a prescription that day and thought I could just drop it off and pick it up later that night. There were only 2 people ahead of me so I thought I was in luck - wrong! After waiting 10 minutes in line the girl told me the pharmacist needed to check if it was in stock. The pharmacist was literally running around back and forth behind the counter. She took 2 phone calls, filled 3 prescriptions, and gave someone a consultation. All while I was waiting for her to take 10 seconds to look on the computer to see if my pain killer was in stock. While I watched her I thought to myself, do I really want her filling my prescription?? An overworked pharmacist is a person more likely to make mistakes. I usually go to the CVS pharmacy in Target. It's rarely busy when I go during the week, usually around noon. I have never seen the pharmacist there stressed or running around behind the counter. The only reason i gave this pharmacy an extra star is because the girl that took my prescription was very nice and pleasant. She handled the chaos very well. read more

This is literally the worst pharmacy in the United States. The staff seems to think they can bark orders to their customers like they are law enforcement. They treat their customers like they are an inconvenience and condescend you at every turn, talking down to you and ordering you around like you are a trained seal. They think they have complete authority over you. Don't waste you time here. Find another pharmacy. Any other CVS would even do. They don't seem to understand they are in the service industry. The lady who works the drop off is extremely bad. The pharmacy manager should be fired and have his license revoked for treating their customers so bad. read more

Called just to confirm if they still do flu shots, was on hold for 5 minutes before a woman answered to say I had 4 calls ahead of me and to please hold, after another 5 minutes the call was disconnected. I then called back where I was again on hold 5 minutes before the same woman answered saying I had 2 calls ahead of me and to please hold anddd I've been hung up on again. I know it's not a glitch because she answered and then went quiet and disconnected the call again. Dropped by on my way to an early morning doctor's appointment. Five employees cheerfully greeted me & offered assistance as I meandered through the store. Then the cashier was this jovial man who joked and laughed while ringing up my purchases. Too bad this place isn't on my usual route to work. I really only come here for prescriptions and over dozens of visits,the only constant is losey service. A quoted 10 minute wait is never less than an hour. There's always a line in front of 4 stations that never more than 2 are ever manned. Today I have the further fortune finding out one of my 3 scripts is not in stock,so I have to come back tomorrow. read more

If you ever have to go to this pharmacy after 12 midnight then make sure you use the restroom before you go. I had just been released from the emergency room and was sent her to pick up my prescriptions because they are open 24hrs. First off in walking in it was only 1 pharmacist and he was taking his time it was only 1 person ahead of me. I had to use the the restroom so I walked over to it and it had a metal gate around it blocking the entrance. I then walked over to an employee and asked If i could use the restroom she said no it's closed daily at 12am and I could go down the street to Mcdonald's. After the initial shock of what she just told me I walked away and went to sit down. I then said no way she did not just tell me to go to Mcdonalds. I asked for a manager which happen to be a very unfriendly little short guy that did not have a name tag on. I asked him about the restroom he said they are closed at 12am due to people doing bad things. I said to him sir I am a customer waiting on a prescription not just a random person off the street. He said sorry those are the rules, I was like where do you guys go if you have to use the restroom he said we have an employee restroom and at that point you would have thought he would of offered but no he did not. I walked away from him and told him I would be filing a complaint with corporate and he said ok. Maybe I should have just peed right their on his floor. This is just for the pharmacy- they seem overwhelmed all of the time! Phones ringing nonstop and always a huge line. It is frustrating to wait and wait and wait, especially when you are sick. For the convenience of being 24 hour is amazing but that's about it. The people seem like if they were properly supported by staffing they would be really happy. Most of the pharmacists seem stressed all of the time which makes for an unpleasant experience. read more

The pharmacy is in utter chaos. I have been coming here for a number of years for prescriptions and it seems as if the situation is getting more chaotic by the day. I refill prescriptions on their website, getting a confirmation and a pickup time, and the order is NEVER filled. In fact, the counter staff claim they have no record of the order, even when I show them my emailed confirmation from CVS. And, as others have mentioned, the lack of organization at the pharmacy pickup area is nearly legendary at this point. As I sat for over 30 minutes yesterday awaiting a pre-ordered prescription, I must have heard at least 3 people at the counter with the same issue (why is my refill not ready, since the CVS email/automated call said it would be...). Expect no extraordinary service. A client of mine needed medications, is impaired and doesn't have a credit card. Pharmacy would not accept a credit card or any form of payment over the phone. It had to be in person. I was 60 miles away and couldn't get there. For the same price I found a local pharmacy that accepts credit card payment AND delivers. They went out of their way to help rather than saying "it's against corporate policy." read more

The pharmacy staff are awesome! Since this is the only 24 hour cvs in town they are always busy...so I'm giving them credit where credit is due. They try their best to be as accommodating as they can. If you are in a rush don't expect a 15 minute wait at 5pm when all the doctor offices are closing and everyone is getting off work, that's when they are their busiest. read more

I'm only rating 2 stars because the store portion of this CVS is OK. It's relatively clean, organized and stocked. If I were rating the store alone, I would give it 3-4 stars. The regular store is good. The regular store workers are amazingly helpful and friendly. Then there's the pharmacy... slow slow slow. They're inconsiderate and rude. They never have prescriptions ready on time. They switch you to generic without asking and you have to wait days or months to get your actual medicine after you tell them you don't want generic or can't have the generic. This is by far the WORST pharmacy experience I have Ever had. Came in on a Friday night and it was extremely busy but my complaints have to do with how they seemed to handle the the line. They seemed to have no system in place and I was handed off to 3 or 4 different people and forced to wait each time to talk to some about small inquiries. They did not process my medical card even though I handed it to them the second I finally got to the register and therefore I had to go back and wait again! They changed my prescription for no reason midway through and then changed it back when I realized and asked them too. All different lines and wait times. Bottom line this place is a joke .. Is it even worth writing a bad review for this mega corporation? They don't care about you or me even if their new logo is a little square heart formed by two hands. So after waiting 3 days for them to fill my prescription, I finally call them to see if by any chance it's ready for pickup. Surprisingly it is. I get to the pharmacy, I wait for 20 min in line and when I get my prescription the technician asks me if I'm aware of the price. Which happens to be nearly 400$ for a 3 month supply. Which is odd considering the last refill was only 100$. So I left without my prescription and now have to go back after getting another prescription from my doctor because I am already a day late on my drugs. I have been going to this pharmacy for a very long time. The pharmacy folks have been wonderful. Wait time is long most times. A couple of weeks ago, I had to drop off a prescription. I waited in line. There was a man with 2 small kids behind me and they were obviously sick, so I let them go ahead. The woman who waited on us was rude beyond belief. She talked crap about the woman on the phone, and berated the man with the kids for not giving the pharmacy his kid's whole name. Then, when it was my turn, she started in on me. Apparently, they were out of the meds I needed, and the woman on the phone needed. She started berating both of us for needing the meds. I couldn't believe it. I had all my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy! I don't need to pay to be treated like that! read more
