(enough said) this store you walk in is very clean and organized. This is probably the worst pharmacy I've ever been to.. they never pick up their phone. The service is slower than ever. You wait in line at the window for 20 minutes or you can go inside and wait in line for 20 minutes. They do not have enough help. There's only one person at the cashier when there's 10 people in line they schedule you for a vaccine and then you come in and they say you're not scheduled. I have changed to another location because it is so bad I get very frustrated and my blood pressure goes up every time I go into this Walgreens don't go there. read more

I have had numerous issues with THIS LOCATION.... Like I said, I've wanted to write many times but haven't. Unfortunately my family prefers this one because it's close to home. Last time I dropped off a prescription (antibiotics & pain medication in March) they told me an hour. This was 11AM. I came back in an hour, still not done, they tell me it will be ready after they come back from lunch @ 2:30..so I left again... got caught up with life, went back almost 7:30PM (been ALL DAY now) The man told me to hang on, he'll get it.... I stood there literally thinking he was getting it and would be right back.... A lady came to my window a few minutes later and said 'you can go sit down'.... ANOTHER 45 minutes my prescription was finally ready.... REALLY?! So y'all didn't even START working on it till I showed up at 7:30PM. I actually 'let that go' - until I decided to write 'this' review. POINT IS: They are not in any hurry to get your stuff together. FIND A DIFFERENT LOCATION! TODAY- September 30 @ 2:45PM I'm standing in line to pick up a prescription. A little old man walked up to a closed window and asked the lady how much longer the wait would be - & it became a little back & fourth bicker. He went back to sit down... 10 ish minutes later COLLEEN (she said her name LOUD AND CLEAR) came out, literally barking at this couple. She was EXTREMELY RUDE. Asked what time their appointment was- they said 2:15, COLLEEN asked what was the problem, rudely! Well Colleen, it's now 2:45 and no one has said anything to these folks that have just been waiting. Yes, 30 minutes aint a big deal to YOU COLLEEN, but to some folks it's a long time. If they had an APPOINTMENT & you knew what you were providing them, why didn't you have their SIX SHOTS (that you loudly announced to everyone in the lobby) READY at 2:15? Or you can KINDLY SAY, "it will take me 30 minutes to prepare" with a little smile... so they know it's 30 minutes instead of them thinking you forgot about them. See, you wanted this job. Yes, it's tough, you're constantly busy, getting yelled at, trying to figure things out, giving shots, theft, etc... but you also work with the public & you are also going to have to deal with people. You have a crappy attitude! At my employment, I have to be kind to everyone, no matter how irritating the little old folks may be. My son DIED & I still had to go to work and put on a positive attitude no matter what... if not, I would be fired. Went through the drive thru bc there was a huge line inside. I was on my bike so it was still a very uncomfortable wait of about 30 min. I wish they would ask people to set a timer and pull out of the line if they are waiting on their medications, instead of having them hold up the line. As it is, they have only 1 of the 2 lines open. Plus, they are doing covid testing, in the drive thru line and so you gotta wait for that too. In general, this design/process isn't working as it was intended and could really benefit with some changes. I always pull out of the line and circle around instead of holding up the line- but they have never asked me to move, which is why I know that alone could be better. And the covid test thing I learned as I could hear the whole conversation from the guy in front of me. Yes, they did sanitize it a little bit between me and that guy, but in general, I think they should maybe have both lines open, and one specifically for covid, and the other for people picking up their meds.. and ask people to come back if their meds aren't yet ready. Just to consider the time of others coming during lunch breaks or whenever they can. Time matters. read more

The lady manager doesn't know there product promotions, rebate, manufacturers discounts. She argue that she's been in the company for 20 years but I find it useless and futile since she don't know anything about Wallgreens promotions, rebate and etc. That why we bought items in wallgreen because we want to take the promotions but she just killed and humiliate us by saying and making up story for her convenience to justify her sub level understanding of wallgreen products and promotions. How they became manager if you don't even know the current promotions and products events. This store price tag is hit and missed if your unlucky no price tag on the shelves. I get my photo prints done here. They even do poster sizes. They offer lots of options including matte and glossy, custom sizes, photo cards, etc. I recommend ordering online as there's always a generous discount code available (50+% off regular price items). Usually they're ready in less than 30 minutes even though the site suggests it's an all day affair. There was one set of prints I forgot for a whole year and they still had them available for me. It's Walgreens. This store lives up to the Walgreens brand. It's not fancy, it's not over the top on customer service - it's Walgreens. You will find your cosmetics, over the counter medications, prescriptions, mints, and 'as seen on tv' junk just as you expect. You will enter a relatively clean store and you may or may not be greeted upon doing so. You will peruse in a peace and you will check out and most likely receive a friendly "thank you" and/or "come again" after doing so. If you head to the pharmacy, you will find friendly people but not enough of them. I don't know that I've ever come and not had a line at the pharmacy. They do have a drive through, but there's a line there too. So be prepared and set your expectations accordingly. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. The pharmacy is either insanely understaffed or gives zero cares about customers... I never get through their line or their drive thru in a decent time frame, I always figure it a fluke, but at this point it is clear it's just how they run things. Tonight, after waiting in the drive thru lane (of only 3 cars) for more than 20 minutes, I finally pulled up to the window and am asked to wait one moment... upon which more than 20 more minutes passed before even someone returned to help at the window... It's incredibly disrespectful of people's time and if I didn't need this prescription right away I would have left. Picking up prescriptions?? Set aside at least an hour (even for the "not so busy times." After waiting for 10 min in the drive through sitting in the actual pick up spot), there was zero acknowledgement. When I pressed the call button, someone picked up and hung up). How about, "hi, we are super busy inside, it will be a few minutes."? So I went inside. Waiting for an extended amount of time bc there was one tech. That tech was beyond rude. Zero smiles and super short answers. Mind you, it's still morning. James, something in that pharmacy is bound to make you even a slight bit more pleasant. After getting the prescriptions, we were all told to wait for the pharmacist, regardless of taking them monthly. 10 more minutes bc he was on the phone. He, however, was very pleasant. Why two stars instead of 1. Well, they have better hours than CVS a half mile down the way. Then purchasing something from the main register - well two cashiers would rather talk to each other than ring up orders. It takes a while for anything in this store. read more

She also said the whole town was out but that's not true because my buddy got a test this morning, and then when I came back around in drive-thru I was sold a covid rapid test. Getting to big for their britches? I am beyond frustrated. My spouse has several health issues which require quick dosing with medications. This remote fill process is hampering his health. When meds are prescribed, they are needed, now. Heaven forbid the Rx is sent on a Friday, it will be late Monday before it is filled, which is not good for people with chronic issues. Also, the online system fill dates is rarely, ever accurate. I've gotten numerous messages Rxs are ready only to be told when I arrive they have not come in yet and our closest location is a roundtrip of 25 miles. When does the patient needs become more important than the bottom line? Maybe filling them quicker, locally might just possibly save customer service time (standing in line, long waits on the telephone, multiple phone calls to confirm the automated messages are accurate, etc.). Most new RXs or refill requests currently takes 2-3 calls and possibly 2 or more round trips, which is unacceptable. What has happened to the Gold Standard of Pharmacies? read more

I'm only reviewing the pharmacy. The store itself has been fine. But one of the pharmacy techs was so incredibly rude to me, I moved all of my prescriptions from here to the CVS at Broadway and Kolb. I had several prescriptions to pick up and used the drive-thru window. Long story short...one of the pharmacy tech shouted at me and Hubby for at least 5 minutes over an issue which was none of her business. We refused to be treated like that, cancelled all the Rx'sand left. The next morning I transferred all of my 20+ prescriptions to CVS. Pharmacy in no way was helpful in getting information on the shingles vaccine. I was told they were out. There was no wait list/call back system. Rather I was told to check daily. Who has time for that between work and life? My experience with my husband and I was also disappointing. Advertised open Sunday 10:00 AM. Arrival to store was 10:00AM. I would give zero but that is not an option. First mom is in hospice for dementia/Alzheimer's and she developed a uti and was in need of antibiotics. Hospice contracts with Walgreens so no worries and I could get the meds faster if I picked up. That meant leaving mom home alone for an hour or a little less. They told hospice it would be ready when I got there. But when I arrived and after waiting for over 30 minutes in a line. I get to the window and they say they dont have moms insurance I say it goes under hospice they know nothing and they had not started the script until I got up to the window and checking the times that put it at over an hour. I was informed it would be another 30 minutes or more. When I explained my situation they did not care. It took 25 minutes as I got the store manager on duty involved. I get the meds and head home but because I was gone so long mom got out of bed and I had to call 911 for help getting her up. She is bruised but not sure if there are other injuries. This review is related to the pharmacy. I've been in the store to go to the pharmacy but never purchased anything in the store. Let me start by saying we use to live in Vail and used Walgreen's there. You could always drive straight up to the window but sometimes had to sit there forever to be acknowledged. The Walgreen's on Golflinks has two drive thru lanes. In three years I've only seen the second lane open one time. There is never less than two cars waiting in the drive thru. Many times there are three to five cars waiting and it can take 20 minutes to get to the window. In the past, I've parked and gone in due to the number of cars in the drive thru. On one instance, I was the only one in line in the lobby and it still took 11 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and wait on me. I counted eight employees slowly walking around, chatting and just generally being as slow as turtles. I've had two prescriptions lost here... one actually stuck to another and the technician didn't notice this when they scanned the scripts. After scanning the scripts, they filed them. When I said that one prescription was missing, they argued that I must have lost it... but found it stuck to the prescription they had scanned and filled. Overall, I would say customer service and moral is extremely poor. Over three years it's stayed consistently poor, never better or worse. Just sadly very poor to the point where I've been thinking to move my prescriptions. They seem to have no interest in customer service and will talk for long periods of time with other employees while you stand there, waiting. I've also seen employees sneaking looks at their phone... but not waiting on me. If I'm a customer standing in front of you, why is a conversation with an employee related to any matter or looking at your phone more important than servicing me? Ten years ago I use to take my prescriptions to Fry's. Nancy, the pharmacy tech, knew me by name and would have my order ready when I approached the counter. I left Arizona for six years. I came back and was at a school one day when I saw a familiar face. I couldn't recall how I knew the woman... it was Nancy and she even remembered my name! I see this young guy named Patrick at the Walgreen's. I think he's the pharmacist. He's the only one I notice consistently but (of course) none of them know me even though I'm in there three times a month. read more

If I could give it a negative I would. My sister mom and myself used this store. Luckily I moved. The pharmacy staff were always gruff. Somehow I figured I deserved it being on AHCCCS. My mom and sister can't get their meds. Apparently being on Suboxone makes the staff treat them like sub humans. The 24 hour pharmacy is never open.. My experience with this pharmacy was as good as it gets. After having issues with my insurance company, pharmacy staff offered to notify them and discuss the issues with them directly. I was able to pick up my prescriptions from urgent care with no problem at all and fast. My entire visit didn't take longer than fifteen minutes including waiting in line for my medication. First off the state needs to do an investigation on this place!!!! I have had nothing but headaches from them for 2 years! They are unfortunately the only pharmacy that carries my daughter's medicine. I received a call today around 5pm telling me her script was processing and would be ready in an hour. We went up there to shop a little bit to kill time. About an hour later I went to check on it and the girl told me they were finishing up with it and would page me. When they did page me 15 mins later, they then told me it was to soon to refill. I was like "WHAT" I worked for express scripts for a longtime and was a prior authorization manager, my insurance allows me an early refill up to four days! I have been doing this for 2 years! She then tells me that the script was filled on 5/30 and I should have 5 left. I know for a fact and have proof it was filled on 5/29 and I fill it early due too I work 2 Jobs and have a business, I will forget to do it. Then her doctors office tells me someone at that Walgreens tried to fill her script on 6/6/18. WTF!?! Who is abusing my daughters medicine and who the hell is lying?!? The assistant manager got involved and told me a different story. The tech said I can get it Wednesday but the manager said I can get it tomorrow ??? Mmmmmm... well guess what you wasted almost 2 hours of my time so now my smarta** will be there at 12:01am and my daughter's medication better be ready and I will have proof of your lies. I have had multiple medications that have changed and as many times as I have changed certain medications and needed a vacation early refill on another medication I am on the Pharmacy staff advocated and always coordinated well with my insurance company, I also get a couple other mess filled at a Membership Warehouse and the service at Wallgreens just seems to be on point at operating at a higher level but I do save a few bucks when going to my Membership Warehouse so I held back on a Five/Five. read more

I just moved here from another state and so far I have had some bad experiences at this 24 hour walgreens. They don't have enough staff and the ones they have have little knowledge of what they are doing. At the least ones I dealt with had no idea what to look for in the system concerning my insurance. Making calls here is the worst. And for the life of me I don't understand why you have to stand in a long line so you can tell them script you are picking up then get into another long line to have the pharmacist actually give you the script. If you rely on medications to stay Pain free and live a life worth living then people know how important a pharmacy can be. With this said and I see all the negative reviews but both younger pharmacists Caitlyn and Patric have helped me extremely, whether to argue with my insurance, call other Wallgreens if this one is out, bridge my medications, ensure a certain manufacturer is in at the time I need it , ensure my 90 day fills are ready on time and always, always, always say hi. For the genius who doesn't understand why they have two lines and that you have to stay back a certain distance it's called HIPPA regulations as well as PHI personal health information being conversed aloud. The second line is also regulatory, a PharmD ( a person who has gone all the way through pharmacy school to the doctorate level or what most know as Pharmacists) have to sign a narcotic out and ensure they initiated a conversation about side effects of certain mess. I like this Pharmacy besides them being busy at times it's what I would expect from a great Pharmacy.The 24hrs is a bonus and they are able to ensure waaay more mess are billed and bagged for consumers. read more
