I cannot stand the service at CVS. I miss Walgreens. I quit going to CVS years ago because of horrible wait times and rude, I MEAN RUDE pharmacy employees. Well I've become ill and have multiples prescriptions and they all come at different times so CVS is the closest for quick pick up. Ohhhh I made a huge mistake changing back to CVS. I was in line for 40 minutes today in the drive thru. I was trapped because there were cars behind me. I REALLY do not understand how it could possible take that long to hand someone a prescription. I had multiple texts fro CVS telling me my prescriptions were ready. I'll be changing back to Walgreens on University. I'd rather waste the gas going to a pleasant pharmacy that seems to care and also has streamlined processes in place. Plus they give my doggy a treat. FAIL CVS!!! read more

Honestly wish I could give negative stars for how AWFUL this CVS location is. The manager on duty (Hispanic woman) is an absolute nightmare. They don't have carts so I bring in my reusable bags and put my items in my bags while I'm shopping. She follows me around like I'm trying to steal and then after she forces me to go through self checkout, she stands there and watches me complete my purchase. Again, like I'm trying to steal something. Today, she got mad at me for needing to return an item and refused to let me use a gift card when I needed to buy another item. This little RX's customer service has much to be desired. The tech that answered the phone was rude. The Rx wasn't filled correctly. The technician manager clearly missed the mark. They need to update their pharmacy technicians on interpersonal skills. The main pharmacist's apology was appreciated & well received. read more

I was at this location on Sunday for a COVID Vaccine. Great job of orderly getting people in and out. I'd give you five stars but the bathroom was horrendous. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Hoping it's better for vaccine number two! read more

cvs on Melrose St. Vista I went with my daughter to buy make up after school. I was on one side of the store when I did hear a woman asking " are you buying that "? Loud voice and little kindness...I went to see what was going on to my surprise was my daugher the one she did comfronted because My daughter did the mistake to open the lid of a make up concealer, was her first time shopping for one, and the lady explain to me CVS does not has testers and her voice continue to be harsh and unkind. I told her "YOU CAN SAY THE SAME THINGS WITH A NICE TONE OF VOICE " I am for correction and respect. Her name is Maria. Please tell her to treat teens nicer and not to embarrase them by assuming they WONT PAY FOR WHAT THEY TOUCH.. I am glad I was around to make some sence of the whole thing to my daughter. This woman needs training in how to aproach any customer that she might assume the merchandise is being misstreated. By the way she left a woman like 20 feet away and came running to confront my girl. ABSURD and poorly handled. I never bought make up at CVS but my now teen had an emergency to cover pimples ...Please note I WOULD NOT EVEN INTENT TO RETURN THERE FOR WATER! So... my mom has me pick up her Rx at this CVS, they are consistently the SLOWEST pharmacy I've ever had to to deal with. They stand around talking to eachother and have absolutely no sense of urgency, as if the customers time doesn't matter, this happens every time I go to the drive thru or go inside. I think it might be one of those places that has a toxic work environment because they all seem unhappy and definitely need to be further trained in customer service. I asked to use the restroom the other day, after being ignored by a girl in the pharmacy who was busy doing NOTHING but talking about her personal life to the other three people standing there doing nothing but listening to her, when I said "excuse me" she glanced my direction for a nano second and said "I'll be with you in a minute", I said I just need to use the restroom and she rudely said "It's out of order" which is a crock of crap, that's what the restroom is there for, they're just too lazy to maintain it so they lock it. The only reason I frequent this location is because of its proximity to the freeway. The pharmacy has a drive - up window. However, the staff that work in the pharmacy are rude. They do not listen and treat most if their customers very poorly. I wouldn't give a negative review but, I've had issues here more than twice. read more

I've used this store mostly to pick up my mom's prescriptions. The Pharmacists have always been very helpful & knowledgeable​. The prices are competitive. When I have been shopping for other items, I don't think I have ever not found what I was looking for. If you watch their sales, coupon & in-store specials, you can save some money. I recently received​ a gift card for what I purchased that almost equaled​ what I spent. And I did not lose the card, I used it the next time I was there. I wish they could keep staff at that store. They have had some very nice people and some not so nice. I've read a couple of the one-star ratings, yikes, I have never experienced what they experienced. read more

Absolutely awful pharmacy service. They don't know what they're doing. Long wait, and then I was told that my insurance wasn't active. Called my insurance and verified that indeed it was active and was told that the pharmacy likely did not input the information correctly. Went back to the pharmacy and told them what the insurance company had said and they ran it again and said it still was not showing active and then I should come back in 20 minutes because they would have to call it in. 30 minutes later I called the pharmacy to ask them to call my insurance company and verify it before I drove there once more, and the lady could not hear me well and quickly hung up. This was the WORST CVS I have EVER been to. I went in today in hopes that I can print my $5 extra bucks coupon at the machine before I go pay. The machine wasn't working so I grabbed everything I needed and went to go cash out. Dalan scanned my products as I was telling her about the machine not working. As she's scanning my stuff she's 1- BITING HER FREAKING NAILS AND GETTING HER SLOBBER ALL OVER MY PRODUCTS and 2- not even caring what I am saying. I asked her to look up my coupon, which ended up not showing up. I asked if I can get help with the machine and will step aside and let others pay until resolved. Her response? "I guess" as she shoved my stuff aside and called the manager, Jeff. She told Jeff the machine wasn't working and I needed help with it. He responded with a sigh and a "I'm really busy and need to finish what I'm doing first." Are you freaking kidding me?! I am ok with waiting, but lose the damn attitude- both of you! A couple minutes later I got the coupon figured out and as I am in line to pay again there's an older lady in front of me checking out (with Jeff, the manager). She's holding on to sponges and, word for word says "are yoiu buying those? yes? no? maybe? are you going to get them?!" She responded no, so he grabbed them from her and THREW them behind him and moved on. These people are so rude and know nothing about customer service. It's too bad they can't be as nice as the people in the pharmacy.... Jeff and Dalan, if you're going to work in customer service then I think it's about time you both are re-trained on how to be a decent worker. I'm not always a bitch, but when I am it's because I have driven 30 minutes to this CVS three different times, called my childrens' doctor 5 different times to confirm fax/delivery, and had a pharmacist blow me off telling me they didn't have anything for my kids, then after I lost my shit, him telling me that I would have to wait 30-45 minutes for them to "process the new fax." First, you have had the same 3 different faxes AND a phone request for the prescription for almost 2 weeks, and the phone request was from 4 HOURS ago as well. Then the man at the drivethru window says he won't have them ready and didn't even try to process my second child's order. I ordered photos online and was told by the confirmation email that they would be ready in an hour. I waited 2 hours and when I went in I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to help me. One employee walked past and without even stopping said that someone would help me shortly. When somebody did finally come over they were unable to find my pictures. Then I was told that it would be another 10 minutes because the printer had run out of paper and nobody had noticed so they never printed. Very bad service. read more

I wish I could give negative stars to this place! I literally got kicked out of there because it was 10 o'clock and they were gonna close. I obviously got there awhile before and had some photos I needed to print that night. I got there and the manager immediately came to where I was to tell me the store was going to close in 5 mins even tho there was still people inside, then I told him I was printing 5 pictures and he literally told me he couldn't wait because he had to close even tho it was not 10 and I had to leAve, he TOOK OVER THE COMPUTER, selected whatever pictures he wanted and started arguing with me saying it's not his problem that I couldn't print off the pictures and I could not believe i was receiving that type of treatment at cvs. I wish there was more I could do than writing this review because I am sure that guy does not deserve to be the manager of anywhere! Hands down the dirtiest and most poorly stocked CVS I have ever been to. Does have a drive through window though, hence the default one star. Empty shelves galore, and I would not trust the shelf life of the perishable items (cosmetics, shampoos, lotions etc.) as it seems to be doing poorly in sales. The cashier was friendly enough though, but didn't seem surprised they were out of the item I was looking for (unscented tea lights.. box(es) empty on shelf instead of removed/reordered.) read more

I waited 30 min., went up to check and they said, "the prescription is being filled now" so I waited. I checked again 10 minutes later and said the same, 10 more minutes went by, same thing, I went up one more time, same! I finally left! I had some rewards bucks and was nearby so I figured I would go in and spend them. As I was paying I was rang up by Dalin, I had told her in the beginning that I had a coupon on my card and wanted to use my rewards bucks ( placed them on the counter) she finished the transaction and I checked to make sure everything was good and she didn't scan my rewards bucks so I decided to mention it to her to see if maybe she missed it. All I got was attitude and she didn't really tell me anything just said I could always return the things. As a former retail employee I would have NEVER said that to a customer. Lyn is who helped us last visit, she is very disrespectful and mind blowingly rude. I have never been treated with such hatred. How can anyone treat complete strangers this way. Strangers who come into a store for their medicine none the less. I complained to the manager that same visit and didn't even get an apology! I can only assume this Lyn lady is racist, I am Native American and I was the only one in the pharmacy that visit that was being treated this way. I don't understand the bad ratings for this place. Every time I shop here, and I mean EVERY TIME, I have been welcomed when I enter the store. Today there was a younger girl at the register and she called out a welcome to me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I didn't today as I was only picking up a prescription. A few weeks ago a really nice lady helped my daughter and me picking out a good hair conditioner. She recommended one she used herself. When I walked up to the pharmacy there was no one else in line, so that was nice :). There were however some really rude people in the drive-thru, honking their car horn. I saw the pharmacy lady, Lynn, rushing across to get to the window to help them. Before she even had a chance to get to the window the passenger got out and starting pressing the service bell. How rude....who does that?!! I couldn't hear them but I could tell they weren't being very nice to her, but she was very patient and pleasant to them. I work in customer service and sometimes have to deal with incredibly rude, ignorant people so I want to let the staff at this CVS know that I have always been happy with the service here.....especially Lynn! read more
