If you are in Wilton Manors, this is the CVS to go to. Located near the "big intersection", it is very close to many of the shops and restaurants in the area. I went with my 40% off coupon to see what I could get.... I was really surprised to see Aloe Vera plants for sale....that is actually a good thing based on its healing properties...so nice to have in a pharmacy. Also you can get some nice beer, hard seltzer and wine spritzers for a decent price, not great, but not bad. If you use your coupon on a regular item, the purchase is not bad...just know your unit prices. Plenty of parking and well lit area at night.

I little too dark for comfort, but it's very close to the water and maybe they're being extra careful not to mess up the turtles? Regardless, my Spidey senses were tingling and I was glad that I had brought a friend for this quick stop for an over-the-counter that I needed. Easy to find and well laid out, as are all CVSs. Paying was slow but only because there were two customers that needed a whole lot of help. Not the cashiers' fault.

It is not at all your ordinary Walgreens. It's a "Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy" which is very small and in which you will not find anything that isn't pharmaceutically related. There aren't any candies, cosmetics, flip flops, cameras, soaps, newspapers or the like in this pharmacy. It's a no nonsense place, strictly orientated towards medical needs, particularly to the needs of those suffering various chronic problems as may be cancer, HIV or such related illnesses. As such, you'll find the staff here to be the "real thing" with real as well as extensive knowledge when it comes to filling any prescription or pharmaceutical need. Unlike what I've experienced and have often heard of being botched prescriptions from other pharmacies that is something I have never experienced or heard of coming from this pharmacy. Indeed, from this pharmacy, a botched prescription, lack of good advice or any misleading advice would be most unlikely. The people here really know what they are doing and are most capable not only of filling most any prescription need but also advising of any related side effects or problems that may be encountered as a result of multiple medications.

Beyond the ease of having prescriptions filled or refilled, their kindness is beyond compare. After 25+ years of my "Superman" dealing with stage 4 colon cancer and trying to get his much needed meds there was only constant frustration to obtain his needed medications. He has since passed and I continued dealing with them for myself. The staff at store # have been one like family and they always tried their best to work within the corporate system but the system is broken. The staff there are truly lovely, the problem isn't them. It was the ridiculous way the company dealt with valid prescriptions. I was recommended Garden Drugs by one of my doctors and I still can't believe what a pure pleasure my dealings are. It is personal, kind, understanding all while remaining professional. This is a letter of recommendation to anyone who has had to jump through all the stumbling blocks that the "big stores" have in place. Please if you are still using Walgreens or CVS do yourself a huge favor. Have your physician switch all your scripts to Garden. within months of transferring to Garden one of the biggest frustrations of my life has been eliminated. No more constant time on hold, no more insurance issues or long wait times just to get my scripts filled. the lovely staff at Garden actually call when the meds are ready for pickup, unheard of at Walgreens. I didn't mean to write such a rambling, long review but if I can make anyone's life easier it was worth it. Give them a chance. You will never go back to the horrid corporate companies. very sincerely, Barbara Whitaker

It is nice to find people that have a good sense of humor and that enjoy their day at work. People like these make shopping a nice experience. I had an extremely disappointing experience with the pharmacy staff at Walgreens Store #9915,…read morelocated at 3100 N Andrews Ave, Oakland Park, FL. When I went to pick up my medications, I was told that my health insurance pharmacy coverage was "inactive" and was asked to pay for the medication out of pocket. Concerned, I immediately contacted my health insurance company, and they confirmed that my policy is active and has never been terminated or deactivated. What makes this situation even worse is that no one from the pharmacy informed me of this issue beforehand. I had called earlier the same day to order my medication, and at no point was I advised that there was any problem with my insurance coverage. Had I been notified in advance, I could have contacted my insurance company and resolved the issue before making a trip to the pharmacy. For patients who depend on essential medications, delays like this can have serious health consequences. The lack of communication and attention to detail demonstrated by the pharmacy staff put my health at risk and caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated issue. The staff often come across as rude, dismissive, and uninterested in helping patients. What was most frustrating was that no one seemed willing to take responsibility or ownership of the problem. Rather than investigating the issue or offering assistance, I was simply told that my insurance was inactive, even though my insurance company confirmed otherwise. There was no accountability, no effort to resolve the situation, and no concern for the impact this could have on a patient's health. Patients deserve clear communication, professionalism, compassion, and competent service; especially when access to critical medications is involved. Based on my experience, this pharmacy failed on all of those fronts. I hope Walgreens management takes these concerns seriously, addresses the lack of accountability within this location, and provides additional training to ensure patients receive the level of care and respect they deserve.

I stopped by briefly to get some crackers to go with some goat cheese I received from an acquaintance. I was not very knowledgeable about pairing cheese and crackers, which made it hard to choose. I spotted an employee who was stocking items at the end of the aisle and asked his opinion on which cracker to pair with goat cheese. He recommended pita chips or savory crackers. I decided to go with a box of gluten-free thin crackers; there were many flavor varieties and it was a BOGO item, so that was a plus. As many people were shopping, I waited patiently in the express checkout line to make my purchase. The cashier was pleasant. I may return to this location when necessary.

While it's convenient to stop by on the way home from the mall, or place an order for pickup, parking is challenging and there are many transients who stay around the perimeter. It can often feel unsafe, having seen little "turf wars" on more than one occasion. While taking this into account, the store is open every day from 7 AM - 10 PM, with the pharmacy and liquors from 9 AM - 9 PM. It is well-merchandised & stocked, and the excellent customer service is what we have come to expect from the grocer over the years. To sweeten the shopping experience for us, and aligning with the City of Fort Lauderdale's vision for more modernized and efficient commercial spaces, there is a proposed plan to remodel or revamp this store; making it a two-story structure with improved traffic flow to the area, more parking spaces, and new sidewalks which offer safer amenities for pedestrians.
