Unfortunately we just found out recently that the store will be closing at the end of November it will truly be a loss not only to the town of Plainville and its citizens who live there but also anyone from nearby who has been going there for years just to get their prescriptions and then you get the random grab a candy bar or you might get a birthday card that she thought you'd forgotten because it half price. Jackie who owns it is truly a wonderful person and she really does great things for the community she even delivers them for a seniors who can't get to the store for their medicines. In the past few years my mother had moved to California and couldn't afford her insulin out there and Miss Jackie would take and bundle it up and mail it to her in California so she always had her Insulin. Not only that, but I mean you can get a charger for any kind of phone or device fairly cheap considering its a convenience store. Prices in Walgreens I've found are otherwise NOT competitive at all, Aside from Rite Aid, They are pretty pricey. I do however love their seasonal section. Most of the decor is 10 bucks or less and they have a lot of different candy options in the same aisle. They were selling pumpkins at the end of the season for a buck at the register. Cashier was super friendly and helpful to assist when one of my devices needed a charger I couldn't find there.

MOST Walgreens are great places to shop, with great deals, staff, and selection. MOST Walgreens have good parking (those not in the city), and have the same clean, organized feel and size. And then there are SOME locations with issues. At first glance, the exterior of this location looks great and the interior was organized, large, and clean when walking in. BUT, I was looking for Valentine's Candy, and this was RIGHT on the way home. There was NONE. Yeah, it's the night before Valentine's, but come on! Plus, they were completely out of a few of the other things I was going to purchase. I just put everything down and headed to CVS. Their customer service is exceptional. My only complaint is with corporate who keeps them short staffed and overworked. Its sad to see the same faces every time I go in. They need more help. The walk up tidy. The objective was for a poster board and talk with the pharmacist. Upon entering I noticed the carpet was disgustingly dirty and stained in front of the registers. The poster board was located with the help of a friendly staffer. We walked back to the pharmacy and waited for a consult for my daughters eye. The gentleman was super nice and showed us a cream and a CVS equivalent to save money. Checkout at the pharmacy smooth. Overall good experience with what we needed and helpful staff. However the store is dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning.

The last time I went I was the only one in line and no one even looked up to say that they would be right with me. The woman at the counter spent over two minutes clicking away at the computer and calculator before someone else came up and helped me. As usual, it took forever for her to find my prescriptions even though I told her exactly what they were. The time before I was picking up an injection medication for my migraines. Before I could even ask a question, the pharmacist called the next person in line. I didn't even know it needed to be refrigerated! Fortunately, Express Scripts called me the next morning and their pharmacist spent time explaining how to use the medication and answered all my questions. There was another time when the assistant told me the wait would only be 15 minutes for a prescription because the pharmacist was on break. I waited 15 minutes and then came back to pick up my prescription. The pharmacist then asked me how I expected my prescription to be ready when he just got back from break? I told him that's what his assistant told me, and she just stood there with a blank face, acting as if she had no idea what I was talking about. I will never fill another prescription or buy anything from Walgreen's again.

CVS West Central Street, Franklin, Ma. is my #1 pharmacy, I have unintentionally had my prescriptions filled at other pharmacies over the years with different Doctors who were clearly not awake or paying attention to where I would like my prescriptions filled, and they lacked the personality and the Friendly service (with a smile). The pharmacy at W.Central CVS is not the only attraction for me, the great staff that they have running the rest of the place is Friendly and Always Helpful when I call upon them for something I need. An employee has even helped me when she was literally done for the day working but stopped to give this old man a hand in finding some things I needed... and that was not the only time with the different employees over the years. I recommend CVS West Central Franklin Ma .. It has almost become a second home for me.. I was able to find the item , some bins, easily at a decent price; however, check out consumed most of my time. The customers were polite and tolerant in spite of the checkout delays. Cashiers had no help with bagging, folding clothes for placement in carts, .... etc. The number of registers maned were few despite numerous stations. Staff was present doing other tasks and seemed to ignore the lines extending into store space. Several individuals in Target attire appeared to be on their personal mobile phones. That said; my cashier, Mary, was patient, hardworking, and professional. With a few improvements, this Target can be one of the better retailers in this area. She then billed my insurance company 4 days late just to make sure that I would have a problem at another pharmacy. The NEW pharmacy confirmed my suspicions saying that it was obvious that CVS had purposely screwed with my medication.
