Stay far away from this place! Horrible customer service place is not clean! And if you call 24 hours in advance for cancellation they charge you 25$ for a no show!!!!! My daughter tested positive for Covid and had symptoms so we did the at home test and she came back positive. So I called 24 hours in ADVANCE to cancel her appointment and spoke to a Hispanic women explaining that she won't be able to make her appointment she tested positive for Covid and that I will call them down the road to schedule an appointment for her. The women said ok no problem hope she feels better and that's how our conversation ended. Keep in mind I did NOT sign anything in agreement or compliance to a charge of 25$ fee for a no call no show ( that I didn't do )... the ceiling is discusting only saying this because this is what your going to be looking at as you get your mouth worked on... they will tell you like they did to me take xray of your teeth and do exam tell you have NO cavities then 2 weeks later for your cleaning you scheduled tell you have a cavity LOL!!! They are not honest people stay away! They treat there dental assistants like trash! Super rude to them. I have medi-cal and they charge my family of 6 a copay for each one and also charge a 55$ tooth extractions. I'm sorry but medi-cal covers that with ZERO COPAY and FREE TOOTH EXTRACTIONS!!!!! They are not honest!!!! Floor boards are discusting riddled with dirt and build up. Waiting room chairs are stained and discusting. I chose this dentist because it was close to home but I will be taking my family elsewhere and will be reporting to BBB and health department, and reporting to denti-cal and medi-cal!!! STAY AWAY!!!! I WENT IN WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM, CAME OUT WITH A BIG PROBLEM. I went for a cleaning. They told me to do the X-ray scan and said they found a "BIG" cavity. I did not feel pain or anything in the area but decided to treat it because they insisted it was big. Right after the treatment, my teeth started being sensitive and now I can't use that side to eat or drink, especially cold ones. I went in again and was told there was a gap between my silver filling and teeth. The doctor shaved some filling and told me to wait another 6 weeks. It took them less than 10 minutes to treat me. I did not think they were going to charge me because the bad filling work is on them. But they took deductible of $55. Their reasons for charging me the deductibles is because I did not contact them sooner (2nd visit was after about 3 months) and they had to do Xray to see what was going on... Also, deductibles are $50 but they sneaked in $5 of sanitation service fee, without telling me, although I made it clear I did not want to pay it because there is no special COVID sanitation service. Maybe they did this because I declined the cleaning service and thought I wouldn't be a repeat patient... At this point, I can not trust this dentist and wonder if I got scammed. I hope my teeth get better and I will be able to enjoy cold food and drinks again. I will have a second opinion elsewhere. read more

I personally hate the dentist because I went a lot as a kid and every time I was told I had a bunch of cavities. LOL. But out of the many dentists I've been to, Dr. Tran is a reliable one. Call ahead to make an appointment! I was able to schedule a last minute one that week of. The front desk receptionist is very sweet and tells you everything you need to know. Dr.Tran is very relaxed as she's cleaning your teeth. She talks in a calm voice which helps when she's asking you do to something (i.e.: opening your mouth wider). I've had a dentist in the past use a clamp in my mouth to force it to stay open wide. X_X She works quick, but she was irritating my gums a bit when she was cleaning off the plaque on my teeth. I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars. Extra points for their upgraded x rays! You no longer have to shove a small tab into the back of your mouth. Thank goodness LOL my strong gag reflexes hates that. They have a different thing now that you bite down on it without having to put it all the way in the back. read more

Rude staff and poorly trained / extremely unknowledgeable doctor. Save your time, money, and energy and avoid this place at all cost. The lady that cleaned my teeth did a good job but the assistant who polished my teeth did a half ass job. She literally pasted the toothpaste on each tooth and there was no "polishing." The doctor, Dr. Tran does not know how to communicate clearly and does not give proper consultations. She just kept saying "idk" to all my questions. I asked her about the repercussions of not repairing the chipped filling since I was not experiencing any pain or sensitivity, Dr. Tran repeatedly said "idk." She did not have the knowledge to address any of my concerns lol I was so shocked by her lack of knowledge and communication skills as a "dentist." I asked for a receipt for my copay and the front desk staff smirked and said, "we do not give receipts for a dollar." Lol a dollar or not, I have the right to get a receipt for my payment. Her snarky comment and attitude really topped everything off. I do not trust this place at all and I definitely will not be returning. If you care about your oral health, go see another dentist, trust me. read more

I have been having a bad experience at this office on and off for that past couple years now with poor communication on there part. The front receptionist is terrible, rude and struggles to do her job( Spanish lady). The last visit and yesterday was the topping the cake, they have been trying to charge patients especially Medi-Cal patients a extra co-pay for the past year of $5. . She first called it for medical supplies, yesterday she called it a good gesture. We as Patients are not obligated to pay any additional fees other then what your insurance pays for. The front receptionist tried to get huffy and puffy carrying on, oh we have to pay for this and that. That is not the problem or the responsibility of the patient to pay. Unfortunately i had to put her in her place by getting a bit loud and remind her under my insurance policy what I am obligated to pay. Good thing I checked before my visit with my provider what I am obligated to pay. She was rude and refused to let me talk to the head doctor or manager. I do not recommend this office for anyone!!! read more

I was making an appointment, told the who ever picked up my call my insurance and she told me info and she told me it wont be able to cover it and what offended me was when she said GOODLUCK ON FIXING YOUR TOOTH. Yes I know it's expensive to fix teeth when you don't have any insurance but you don't have to be so rude! I have dentical but that doesnt mean i don't have savings to pay for my tooth! I have an appt soon but im going to another dentist in san leandro and not even gonna go to this one at all! Cancel my appt! At least there they are so nice and willing to help me out! Very unpleasant experience. The wait was long. I arrived a little early for my appointment. The front desk receptionist did not bother to look up or greet me as I entered. Waited for over an hour to receive basic cleaning for my teeth. The cleaning took no more than 20 minutes. The dental hygienist was less than considerate; she was nice enough to want to chat with me, but how did she expect me to answer her with all the tools stuck in my mouth? After the cleaning, my teeth did not feel "clean" at all. It was too brief, totally felt like a sloppy job. I just wanted to leave right away...but guess what, more waiting for the dentist to see my teeth. But really, after 20 minutes of waiting for the dentist to show up, I got up and was ready to leave. One of the employees stopped me and said that Dr.Tran was coming. Well, she showed up without asking me if my teeth were bothering me. She just went straight ahead to sell me her pricey dental treatment. Thank goodness it was short. But NO. At the front desk, she insisted that the lady bring up an estimate for my "potential" treatment. Another wait.....*sighs* What a waste of $$ and time. read more

Since I moved to Fremont back in 1998, Ive been going to Dr. Tran with my family. Fast forwarding 12 years and everything has been good! Service is great! The love the staff there. They are so nice and welcoming, it makes the visit more pleasant. Dr. Tran is truly gifted at her job. My family and I have gotten many different procedures done at her office and all of them have been nothing but perfect results in the end. People always fear about going to the dentist, but this office surely makes the visit memorable. If you have children that are scared of the dentist, they sure make their mind at ease! They have a little box of toys that they can chose from at the end of the appointment, I know it made me feel better about getting my teeth done as a child! =) read more

First time I heard of her was through one of my coworkers and they said she was their family dentist, very comfortable and always in a good mood. The dental assistants are so kind and so professional. Also front desk, two or three Latinas that I've conversated with are very kind and focused on their job and always in a great mood . I'm so satisfied with her work and her office service. I recommend her ! It bothered me that one person had a bad experience with her, from the rest of the reviews I've read.
