The ride is less that 2 days away. Not only did they take a look, they literally overhauled my hub, trued my wheels, greased my chain, adjusted the derailleur, adjusted the brakes, adjusted the headset, tightened the cranks, cleaned the bike and contacted me to pick it up within less than 4 hours. They also advised me regarding riding with studded tires on concrete, as I had no experience. All in all, I will ALWAYS look to Allis Bike and Fitness in the future - they are hard-working, considerate, exceptional customer service, and inexpensive. She made an appointment for Saturday morning and when she arrived the bike had been rented out. She sent detailed pictures of her trade and explained the bike in detail. She was told $5000 trade contingent on inspection. They offered her $3400 after all of the additional BS. They said it would need to be tuned for the slip on exhaust pipes and were charging $1600 for that??? She brought the factory pipes with and explained that several times. Her bike has 7000 miles and has had regular service. I told her to walk. Avoid these d-bags, they are predatory and treated her like a number.
