Despite being over two hours away in Sumter, SC, I returned their call on September 2 at 4:39 p.m. and was scheduled for an appointment at 11 a.m. on September 3rd. Given the distance, I woke up around 4 am to go to the gym, drop off my child, and then head to the store. I arrived 12 minutes late, yet I was told the 10:30 appointment was being serviced, so I would have to wait a few minutes. I was okay with this, but what followed was nothing short of a nightmare. My car was not pulled into a bay until 1:05 pm--two hours after my scheduled time. At 1:28 pm, I saw the serviceman drive off in the company vehicle. I looked in the bay to find my car jacked up with all the tires removed. I asked the front desk agent where the serviceman had gone, but she had no information. He returned only after 1:45 pm, offering no explanation or apology. I am sitting here at 1:52 p.m. with no car, missing all my meetings, and having a completely ruined day. This level of service is unacceptable. I will never return to this location and would not recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Avoid Rent-A-Wheel at all costs if you value your time and sanity.

First they said they didn't know, then they said they had to rebuild the transmission. We paid over four grand to have them rebuild it, and then the issue kept happening. We took it back and they said it's the spark plugs now. Paid 700$ to have them fix that, and the issue is still happening. at this point I am not comfortable bringing it to them again. I don't know if they've been lying to me, not fixing what they said they were fixing, or just incompetent, but I will not be going back to waste more money on their "services". *EDIT* We went and got a second and third opinions from other mechanics, they all said the issue with my car is what AAMCO "fixed", and AAMCO is still trying to claim there's another different issue we have to pay for.
