The service I got by James was great. He helped me in many different ways.. I first went to the augusta ga store and they wouldn't sell me rims for stupid reasons. When I came to the Charlotte store. I was greeted like a human being and sold the rims I originally wanted. James called the augusta store to get the rims transfered to this location because he had a couple sets of them And the manager at the augusta store said he will send them and said I was a sketchy person. I heard the whole conversation on speakerphone .that's not nice!! So after the phone call I paid the deposit and got everything set up. Within twenty minutes the transfer was not completed so James called again and they will not send them because he said they were low on stock.if anyone is sketchy it's the managers at the augusta ga location. Rent-A-Wheel enabled me to buy four new tires at a reasonable price. I purchased my first set three years ago during a very challenging time for me. My mom was very sick and it was my responsibility to transport her to treatment and I was in desperate need of new tires. I was able to purchase four tires with a small down payment and paid for my tires in 90 days. Since the time of purchase I have not had any problems with my tires. In addition, I use my car for work so I put a lot of miles on my car and the tires have held up well for the last 3 years and for me it is equivalent to about 5 years worth of wear and tear on a vehicle. I just purchased a second set of tires and the manager remembered me and asked about my mom and was very gracious and offered condolences for my loss. Great customer service can't be bought. Honestly the guys at Renta Wheel told be about the Yelp review cause I didn't know really not into computers but I am into my rides and I have been dealing with Renta Wheel ever since about 2 years ago when I had a flat on a Saturday night after 7 the store had closed and I call him big baby but his name is Brandon helped me change my tire and he looked so tired but he helped and that Monday me and my wife came in and got our 1st set of wheels and we have been a part of the family ever since. I have been wanting rims for my car since I bought it almost 3 years ago. It came with bad rims so the air was leaking out of the tires all the time. This caused me much grief and time loss. I refused to put new tires on bad rims so I only had used tires. New rims almost seemed out of reach due to the high cost of rims, tires & labor. My Mother and I was on our way to see my Dad at CMC, as he had to have part of his lung removed and when we pulling into the McDonald's parking lot I noticed we had a flat tire. And thank god just below McDonalds was Rent a Wheel. I went in and told Jill and she asked Zay to help us out. Zay was great he drove me to the car and pumped the tire up, then all I had to do was drive in the bay to get the tire plugged. It was a stressful time in general, but add a flat to the mix it's just awful, but these folks were just great to us!!! read more

At first I was intimidated because everyone came to assist me. It was nice though because it showed everyone cared. My experience with Rent A Wheel was one of the best experiences I have had when it comes to my vehicle. Ordered shift rims and RAW wasn't sure if they would fit so, Jill and delivery tech decided to do test fit since I was there to check on delivery of rims. Everything fit perfectly and instead of RAW asking me to schedule another appointment to get delivery done, they did my installation right after their first customer.
