After the initial installation, the low tire pressure warning light didn't turn off. I was told it might take a couple of days to sync after driving. A week later, the light was still on, so I called the store and they got me back in that same day to re-check everything. In the end, they resolved the issue by replacing all the TPMS sensors with a different brand. A big thanks to Jason for taking ownership of the problem and making sure it was fully fixed. Instead, they replaced the front right tire because of a mistake in how the front desk entered the work order. That's fine--mistakes happen. However, when they brought me into the back to talk to the technician, he stated, word for word, that there was a bubble near the valve stem on the front right tire, which is why it was replaced. I regularly inspect my tires after hitting potholes, especially because I have low-profile tires. I told the manager that if there truly was an issue near the valve stem, there should be no problem taking a reference photo by putting the tire back on the rim and airing it up. There turned out to be no issue with the front right tire after doing this. At that point, I had a new tire installed on the front right, and they had moved my previously good-condition front right tire to the front left. All seemed well--so I thought. The first day I drove to work the following week (the first time I reached highway speeds since the service), my steering wheel started shaking. When I got to work, I checked and found that they had completely removed all the balance weights from both of my front rims and hadn't rebalanced the tires. During my initial visit, I had clearly told them that I had an alignment, balance, and rotation done just a month prior. This was my first and last experience with Plaza on West Clay Street in St. Charles. You can't rely on them to get it right the first, second, or even third time. Please, please, please make sure you understand your vehicle well so you don't get taken advantage of by the dishonest people at this West Clay location.

They completed the emissions and I was out of there in 10 minutes. This place is crazy busy but I had no problem getting an appointment and getting taken care of. The techs then refer to the large in-store guide, explaining their recommendations in detail. This visit, I popped in for a rotation. As a rideshare driver, I have the need for new tires far more often than Sunday drivers. I utilize their sister company, Tire Rack, find the most economical deal for my vehicle. I then have them sent directly to Discount Tire, who notifies me when they've arrived. I can either schedule an installation appointment - or just drop by. My experience here has been that they usually underpromise and overdeliver, especially when it comes to estimating how long I'll be waiting. If a customer shows up, give them the benefit of the doubt, rather than telling them the tire is at another location. I drove because I didn't want to wait any longer and because I had faith that my tire was where it was said to be, just to realize it was at the original location the whole time and sending it right after you realized so you didn't have to have a confrontation. I will not return to this location unless absolutely necessary. Learn to take initiative and double check next time.

I pulled out my wallet and asked him what I owed and he said "don't even worry about it, you're traveling through with your wife, little one, and a pooch. I'm happy to get you back on the road and off to where you're heading" Now I'm not saying, go to this business with the expectation to get free service(s) lol but I just wanted to share my experience and I think it should at least show that the folks that run/ own this business are good hearted/honest people.
