This is a huge studio with almost 50 bikes, which is never full at least at the time I go. There is an air filter and they clean everything so nicely. The bathroom is so sweet with showers and all the accessories you could want if you needed and forgot something at home. I live in Los Angeles and go to cyclebar Burbank. I have the opportunity to be in Beaverton/Tigard area more frequently and signed up for some classes. I like the instructors and facility was clean. Would have given 5 stars but I brought 2 of my LA friends here over the weekend. They're in town for our best friend's birthday. When we all checked in together the front desk told us, since they're not local they'd have to pay for the class. Fine, no problem at all. On the way out we were all talking with instructor Jessica and giving feedback etc, the front desk told us since we paid for the class today they'd comp them the next class. So my two friends signed up for the next day which I was also signed up for. When you're new to cyclebar it's pretty common for them to text and call you. My friends got texts the AM on day 2 class asking us how day 1 went and looking forward to seeing us that AM. We showed up and were informed all our spots were cancelled because we're from LA and there wouldn't be a free class. First, I paid for all my classes, a pack of 3 and a single so very odd that I would be cancelled. Second, if we're receiving text confirmations about our class 45mins before arriving, please don't cancel them on us when we actually arrive. Lastly, it's not about the money, we all paid and were happy to, but don't promise something and then change the tune when we show up. The whole encounter that day felt VERY bait and switch and made us feel unwelcome. As a result wouldn't go back to this location. read more

Very small riding room, students are tightly packed in and masks are optional. With the exception of me, no one is wearing a mask. The classes are fair to good. I was a first-time rider taking advantage of their free class pass. The sign-up process was less than a few minutes for everything and I received e-mail confirmation right away which was super helpful. Taylor called me twice in the span of a week (I wasn't able to answer due to work) and she left a voicemail letting me know she was checking in to see if I had any questions at all. I live in salem so I commuted to their Tigard location. As soon as I went in, the atmosphere was very energetic and clean! I let the gal at the front know that it was my first ride and she completely took me into her hands. I didn't catch her name. She walked me through every single step of the process, gave me time to change, and still checked up on me. She was very patient in answering questions and showing me how the locker functions. After that, I was greeted by the instructor Sam. She was just as helpful/friendly. She helped me find my bike and showed me the functions of the bike. The class itself was a great pace and allows for flexibility in how challenging you'd like it. I didn't hesitate to sign up for a membership, especially with their deal going on! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Please save yourself time and energy and don't even think about signing up for their membership. It is an absolute SCAM!! Did one trial (free) ride. Sound was awful, could not understand a word, teacher looked pretty tired. When leaving, the front desk girl almost blocked the entrance convincing me to sign up for 5 lessons. I though, ok, maybe I can try and it will get better. A week after I signed up I had to move to Seattle due to work. Cancelled one scheduled lesson, paid the fee, no problems. Called the same day, asked for cancellation due to this sudden change. Didn't even ask for a refund, just cancellation. The front desk agent confirmed 'You are all set!'. Obviously, they charged me again on the 1st of the month. Called to ask for a refund, since was told that membership is cancelled and I haven't attended even one class after the free trial one. Was told that manager will call. Obviously no one called. Ok, called back 2-3 times, either no one picked up or again, promised to call back and never did. Mid month I called again and was told that apparently a cancellation form has to be submitted one month before the cancellation. Ok, received the form, within 4 min forwarded completed form and NOTHING!! I keep on getting charged EVERY SINGLE MONTH!! They DO NOT RESPOND, DO NOT CALL BACK. Multiple emails sent, voice messages left, billing department contacted. I have disputed the charge with my bank and do not intend to pay even one penny! ABSOLUTE SCAM!! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! And I keep receiving emails saying that I have outstanding charges! HAHAH SERIOUSLY???? SCAM SCAM SCAM! 2,5 months of no communication and fake charges. The worst experience ever. This cycle studio has a lot of nice amenities (showers, water, towels, and lockers). I also like how cycling shoes are provided, so no need to purchase/bring your own pair (unless you wanted to). My first visit was very welcoming. The staff showed me the ropes and even give a written shout-out on the lockers with my name and that they're glad that I'm there. I have been taking a class every week, and the workout is solid. I'm definitely going to look into maybe doing the unlimited monthly pass. read more

Awesome class! While visiting from California, I NEEDED an awesome workout so decided to check out Cyclebar in Tigard, OR. I'm glad I did because Cyclebar and Carli surely did not disappoint!! This is a full body workout spin class so be prepared. It's a good mix of an upper body bar workout combined with some sprints and hill climbs. They have a leader board and you can have your stats posted up to challenge yourself. Note: Not all classes have the stats on the board, only specific classes. (I'm a competitive person so I wish they had the stats up through all classes.) Congrats on your opening in Tigard, I'm sure you guys are gonna have a packed house in every class soon. I love this studio and the variety of classes that they offer here. You can take Empower, Connect, Performance, and Classic classes. Additionally, the studio offers themed rides (MTV, Diva, etc.) each month that make your experience so special. I have an unlimited membership here and it is worth every penny! I highly recommend Maya, Tracie, and Bri for instructors. The classes continue to challenge me. I also like that there are amenities at this studio such as a large space and lockers to stash away your stuff and change into your spin shoes. The studio has an equipped locker room with two showers and restrooms for men and women. I appreciate that they give you lavender-scented cold towels after each ride, and sometimes offer free coffee from Coffee Rush on Friday mornings. It makes the experience luxurious compared to other studios. read more

Long story short : I grew up in LO, so did my parents, but they now live in Iowa and I moved to Utah for work. I visited the CycleBar location in Jordan Creek (Des Moines) and had an account there. Both my mom and I are in town for the holidays and I wanted her try her first ride which is always free. She signed up online but I had issues with my account (accidentally bought a close for the IA location and couldn't sign up for the Tigard studio with the same email). Fast forward to this morning, I asked the front desk for help and they were so friendly and accommodating! They showed my mom the ropes and, after I confused them explaining my situation, they offered to refund the class I bought accidentally and give me today's ride for free. If you are in SE Portland definitely stop here. The studio is spotless and welcoming, the instructors are friendly and positive, and my mom and I had a great ride to kick off the Christmas festivities. Great job team!! read more

I've only been a member for a little over a month but I'm loving everything about this place. First, They offer three free classes for first time riders. It's extremely easy to use their app to sign up for rides and I've never had a problem getting into the class I want. The facility is spacious, bright, and clean. They provide you with a towel, clean your bike for you, and give you a wet wash cloth after the ride. Amazing! I bring my own cycling shoes but the have shoes for you to use. I think the price is reasonable and management is accommodating to your needs. Sure, I enjoy some instructors better than others but overall you have the ability to make it as hard or as easy as you want. read more

Update: After months of trying to get them to respond to me, they FINALLY did and they reimbursed me for one month of payments. I let them know they had a lot more to pay back, and after a lot of back and forth, one of the managers Anna told me she "couldn't find any information showing that I had asked to cancel my account". I forwarded her the email that SHE sent me saying she would cancel my account in January. Afterwords she was immediately apologetic and said she was sorry about that, it wasn't brought to anybody's attention. All I've been doing these past few months is bringing this to everybody's attention. I was just being ignored. This place has HORRIBLE customer service. Theyll move your bike spot around without even asking or remove you from a class that you signed up WEEKS before for. They treat their cycle instructors horribly. I took a class from an instructor a while ago, I think her name was Whitney whoever "lead instructor" is. She made a comment in her class that "you'd never be skinny". I immediately left and bought a peloton for the lowest monthly price ($30 cheaper than here). Awful customer service! I canceled my membership during the pandemic and the manager kept calling me a year later to collect money that I did not owe. My husband had similar issues. He tried to cancel his membership and they did not answer or return his voicemails. He was only able to cancel his membership because he went to the gym physically and they made him pay for an additional month This is the worst cycle gym I have attended in the Portland region. You will be better off purchasing and using a Peloton bike instead. read more

Just took my second class today, and I absolutely love it! The instructors I've had so far have been amazing, very positive people who push you to be the best you can be. The studio is very very clean which is a huge plus for me. They offer complimentary lockers, towels, water bottles (with a water keg) and then steamed eucalyptus towels once your ride is done. I had never tried cycling until I can here. With my height, I was worried I wouldn't fit the bikes, plus, I'd been out of shape for so long. When I first came, the staff was amazing! They were incredibly understanding and took the time to fit the bike to me, make sure I felt comfortable and safe and were extremely encouraging. It was a hard workout but I loved it! I decided to go back and each time, no matter who the staff member or class instructor was, they always took time to introduce themselves, help me with my bike and asked if I had any questions. Ultimately, I bought a pack of 10 rides and have been going right through them. I love the themed classes as well as the classic. They're always a great workout for whatever level you are currently at and all instructors are supportive about going at a pace at which you feel is good for you.
