I've been coming to CycleLife for over a year, and it has completely transformed my fitness journey. Since joining, I've become not only more confident but also fitter. The 45-minute classes are led by energetic and supportive instructors, and they keep things interesting with fun themes and a great mix of class types. Beyond cycling, they offer full-body strength, power sculpt, and core classes, which really round out the workout options. CycleLife offers different membership options, from class packs to unlimited memberships, and they even provide discounts for students. Their first month of unlimited classes is a great deal at $99, though I'll admit the regular memberships are a bit pricey--but honestly, that expense motivates me to show up and make the most of it! Parking can be a little tricky, but the nearby 1-hour street parking usually works out just fine. Overall, CycleLife has become an essential part of my routine, and I couldn't recommend it more!

Was invited by a friend and have been hooked since! Classes are intense & upbeat. Instructors and everyone are super friendly & encouraging. You can rent cycling shoes for $3 or bring your own. They have free lockers, showers & toiletries. They have a shared small parking lot or you can do street parking in the neighborhood. Memberships can be 4x/month, 8x/month, unlimited, or you can purchase class packs. It can be a little pricey, but definitely worth it if you enjoy it & continue to go!

Before you raise your pitchforks at me because of my rating, hear me out first!! Lol. As I've visited several spin studios, I've become really nitpicky about them especially when it comes to first impressions. In terms of this particular spin studio, there were things that were hits and other things that were misses during my first visit. I'll start with the good. I've learned that I need to look at instructor bios on the studio's website first before choosing a spin instructor. I decided on Judi; I'm a hip hop type of gal so I thought she would be the perfect pick. Giiiiirrrrrl, she don't play, lol. Don't expect any sympathy from her as she expects that you give it your all. Can't be alarmed with her F-bombs if you take her class either. But man, her energy.....there's a reason why her class was a full-house. I left the bike room after class thinking "what the heck just happened in the past 45 minutes" and from my experience, that's a good sign of a great spin instructor/class ahahah. In terms of her music, it was pretty much all hip hop, and in terms of the sound quality in general in the studio.....girl, this shizz is bass boosted to oblivion hahaha right when I entered the studio I could hear blaring music from the bike room. Perfect segue to talk about the not-so-great things. As the music here is much louder than what I'm used to at a spin studio, at times during class I couldn't clearly hear the instructor; good thing I sat in the back row because I pretty much just followed what everyone else was doing lol. Another thing is the rental shoes; $1 to rent and they're very old and not perfectly compatible with the bikes.....I could tell because one of my shoes clipped out unexpectedly TWICE during class. Very unsafe!! I recommend bringing your own spin shoes. Lastly, the front desk staff. There was an older lady in front of me in line who also was taking her very first class here; the front desk staff was very patient with her and comprehensive in terms of telling her all of the info she needed to know. When it came to my turn, my interactions with the staff felt very rushed even though I also stated to them that it was my first time here. Do they have mind powers and already knew that I've already taken a bunch of spin classes?? Who knows, lol. Like I said, some hits and misses. I think this studio is still fairly new and this one seems promising as I'm hopeful that they'll work out some of their current kinks. I'm still down to visit here again and try out the other instructors! Parking: small lot out front but plentiful free 1-hour neighborhood parking. Childcare available!

I ended up parking in the neighborhood a couple blocks away (2 hours free parking). Parking close to Cyclebar is meter parking. Checking in was seamless, you just let them know your shoe size, they give you shoes, and you put your stuff away in the locker. The room is dark but more like a club setting. They turn the music up pretty loud and for the private cycle, my friend chose an explicit playlist. Great workout! Would I come back again? For my friend, yes. Voluntarily, no, as cycling take a special type of human being to enjoy it Pros: the instructors were amazing and friendly. It took both instructors to help me lock my shoes into my bike. They were patient with me as we tried to figure things out. The workout was a good one which included a weighted bar and small dumbbell weights. Cons: not in love with the parking situation The audio was a bit off during class so it was hard to understand some of the instructions.

Sabrina had amazing energy the entire class and was super encouraging, which made the experience even better. Loved her! The staff was also really friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. Emily helped us and told us about the package deals. We then got helped by another girl up front with pretty eyes but I didn't get her name ! Katelyn the manager ended up helping us later that day and she was amazing as well!!! We started with a free class and ended up signing up for the month because we enjoyed it that much and yes, you'll definitely break a sweat! If you're thinking about trying a class, go for it!!! From the cleanliness, to the loud music that gets you hyped up, and the vibes! You won't regret it!

I stumbled upon this place while shopping at the Palladio and had to Yelp just to see what it was…read more I was curious because I did a cycling class years ago and wanted to see if it was similar. I tried out a free cycling class at Cycle Bar with my sister, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Emily at the front desk, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. We signed up for the 5:30 class with Sabrina, and she was simply amazing! She helped us get setup with our bikes. As first time cycling, they welcomed us with our names written on the lockers... ahhh so cutesy!! Sabrina's energy and positive vibes made the 45 minute ride fly by, and I can honestly say that this class surpassed any cycling experience I've had before. The atmosphere at Cycle Bar is so authentic and friendly. Everyone we encountered radiated good vibes, which made us feel right at home. We were jamming to EDM music while cycling our hearts out, and while it definitely kicked my butt, Sabrina's energy kept me motivated throughout the class. It was such a great experience, but we didn't want to commit to a membership since we already have one at a gym. We thought about it for a few days, but then decided it was worth it and signed up for the new members package, which includes three rides for just $49! I'm not sure how long that deal will last, so I recommend hurrying to take advantage of it! Katelyn, the manager, was super helpful in getting us set up for our next class, and there was another staff member with beautiful green/blue eyes who was equally sweet and initially helped us (sorry, I forgot her name!). We also tried the hip hop class with Addie later that evening, which was just as fun but offered a different vibe from the EDM class. I love hip hop and rap, and I appreciated that they played the original versions, not the clean ones! It definitely made my cycling experience more lit, lol. Both classes were great in their own way! Cycle Bar truly goes above and beyond with their amenities. They provide cycle shoes to borrow, fresh towels, and even a minty towel post ride. The bathrooms are stocked with feminine products, hair ties, and everything you might need, making it super convenient. Plus, they have a water machine for refills, and all these extras are complimentary! Just freaking wow!! I love you guys!!! lol I had to come back and edit and add another cool thing. You can download their app which tracks your rides!! Super cool. And you can also download their playlist from the classes, book your classes etc!! Amazinggg.. As someone who has been a Yelp reviewer for years (8 as an elite. I'm trying to get it back this year), this is hands down one of the best places I've ever visited, and I'm soooo excited to share my experience as I'm writing this. This is actually my longest review, and I'm telling you, you're missing out if you haven't checked out Cycle Bar! How do they only have 6 reviews? Come on, people! If you're looking for an uplifting and genuine cycling studio, look no further than the Folsom location. Trust me, you won't regret it! I can't wait for my next class next week, eek!

I let the instructor know about my injury so if she seen me take it easy or go slow, she knew what was up. She was so supportive and understanding! The other members of the class were friendly, chatting to one another before the class and saying hi to the newbie, me. One of them helped me get my shoes attached to the bike since I didn't know how and another helped me with the bars. It was a collaborative environment of strong women which was amazing to be in. I am a plus size lady and while I dont let that stop me from being active, sometimes I feel like an outlier size-wise. But in this class there were women of all sizes and shapes and everyone was getting their workout on and having a blast! I love how we all sang at the end of the session- this class was the definition of a fun group class environment. Great value for the class and everyone should try it.
