The sales clerk atom was great, he helped me choose and fit my road cycle shoes and installed my cleats for FREE! Then he even gave me 15% discount on my shoes! My wife and I just bought 2 bikes and a bunch of accessories from this Cyclery USA and dropped about 4K in the process. Tom was our salesman and he was great. He spent alot of time with us helping to pick the right bike, size, riding the bikes around the store etc. All the staff was/is very nice and helpful. Even though there was a snafu in getting my bike ordered, that doesn't change the fact that top notch service was delivered. I would definitely recommend this bike shop... Brought my sons bmx style bike in to have the crank shaft looked at as it was loose. Dylan took a look at it made some adjustments and tightened it up. Energy in here is infectious with positive attitude. My 5 year old bought her first bike over the weekend with her own money and she did a great job picking a cute bike... but it was a bit tall for her when trying to hop on. I called this shop and had a few questions for John, who answered the phone. He was polite and informational and asked me to bring my daughters new bike in to see if they could adjust it to her size. The crew in the "pit" area worked their ninja moves on my daughter's bike and now she has an adorable custom fit bike that will give her childhood memories for a lifetime! I had a terrible experience today. I was all excited about picking out a bicycle for my Mother's Day and birthday gift. I waited in line to get in due to the pandemic started to look at bikes. I had my husband and two boys with me. Twice I tried to get someone's attention to help me and I was ignored. When I approached the front counter where a college aged young man was for help, he answered the phone instead of helping me. Other customers were being helped and shown bicycles that came in long after me. When I waited for the young sales associate to let me out to leave he I explained that I was going to leave and that no one was helping me he said rudely "We're kind of busy!" (There were only a few customers in the store and at least four associates) with an attitude. Discouraged I then said "We are just going to leave then." and he said "Ok!" again with a rude tone, unlocked the door and we Ieft. I will never be back. read more

This is my local bike shop. As an avid cyclist and spinning instructor I am in frequently. They have a wide selection and all the brands. They do good service and are reliable at fitting the bike to you. This in itself is worth the price difference compared to the marts. Give them a try. read more

I got a 12" kids bike from yard sale which didn't have training wheels. So I bought the wheels from Amazon and found that they don't fit the bike very well. We brought the bike and wheels to this store and they figured out how to resolve the problem right away! First they trimmed some part of the metal piece to fit the bike and then helped us install the wheels. The guy who worked on the bike was very professional and careful. He tested a couple times to make sure the wheels were secure and stable. When we were about to pay for the service, he asked not to worry about it. We did pay him some tips, but what he did for us was beyond our expectation. We really appreciate his kindness and will definitely recommend this store to people! read more

Note: this review is primarily for the service side of the house--I haven't bought a bike here...yet. Still, these folks are amazing. They tuned my bike over the summer and it worked much better than previously. Quick service and a thorough job. I took it in this month as one of my shifters wasn't shifting into all gears. Jason took a look at it and noticed that the other one was getting sticky as well. They took it in after hours as I stopped by after my own work day and had it ready within 24 hours. Not a bad store. Goes through cycles of employee turn over. Kind of a bummer to have o re-explain things everytime you go in. Sort of a mom and pop feel to a larger store. Don't like the brand selection too much, it makes them average instead of great. Bought two new bicycles from them over the years. Overall a good place for cyclists in the area. read more

They have a new program where they will set up the suspension on your bike and Ben (suspension Guru) took the time to "do it right!" Took the bike to Snow Summit after the work and it was amazing! Was looking for cycling shoes. Found Cyclery USA Redlands store on-line. Their user-friendly site was easy to find the shoes I wanted at a great price! Called them to verify they had my size in stock. Spoke with a very pleasant and helpful Tim. He put me on a brief hold to verify if he had the shoes and my size in stock. Tim said he also had a size-up from the size I was looking for. Tim said it would be a good idea to come on in and try them on. I showed up an hour later. Very nice store. Lots of different types of bikes, repair center, clothing and of course shoes. I asked for Tim. He went on to find the shoes I was looking for with a perfect fit at a great price. He (Tim) fixed me up with the proper cleats to go with my cycling shoes AND even installed them on my new shoes for me also in no time! Big Kudos to Tim and his excellent customer service. I love on-line shopping BUT, it was sure nice to get that "old school" one on one "human factor" customer service from Tim. You can't go wrong I shopping at this relaxed professional and helpful shop. They price match, they educate, and are there to help beginners or pro level riders with all their biking needs. A big shout out to Heather the manager- she is one of the reasons to drive all the way from Santa Monica to Redlands to buy a bike. If your a racer type, or come in flashing a wad of cash, then your all right. If your just a regular customer, you will be lucky if they even acknowledge your presence. Many people have walked in and walked out 20min later, even though there were available sales people, without even so much as a hello. My wife and kids went to buy me some socks before a ride, and were completely ignored, because she didn't look like a cyclist. She went to another store and bought me an outfit. There loss. She was extremely upset and will never return. And if you want a TREK BICYCLE then your good but other than that not much of a variety of bikes to choose from. Bottom line much better shops in the IE to choose. read more

Finding a bike shop when I moved from Texas to California was done as soon as I had found a place to live. I visited several shops in the area around Redlands and it just didn't fit. Having a worked in the industry I have an idea about what is right and what isn't. I feel like a newby as well as long time enthusiast would have no problems making good buying choices at Cyclery USA. Since moving in May of 2016 - I've had a full tune (the platinum) on my bicycle, sold that bicycle and Cyclery USA boxed it up for me, (for a nominal fee). Now I am in the process of buying a new bicycle more suitable for southern California. The team at Cyclery USA, (Tom, Michael, Andrew, Tim, and Kirk) have been a real pleasure to work with. The demo process has been fun, I've tried several bikes and have enjoyed the dialogue, information, and assistance I seek with the teams help to find the right bicycle for me. Before launching into a review, let me first say that I had 2 visits to this store - one to choose a bike and another to come back and pick up the bike since they needed to get it from another store. The first trip was excellent - Colin took great pains to spend time with my friend and me and help us try out bikes to see what suited us. I'm riding after almost 12 years, so he took time to explain the features of the new bikes. At the same time he didn't try to sell me on the more expensive models, but suggested cheaper alternatives as well. I learned a lot and it certainly was very useful. He took a lot of trouble even though I didn't pick a bike up that day (model was not in stock). My second trip back to pick up the bike (Trek 3700 Disc) - not so good. The guy seemed bored and like he couldn't care less - no fitting, no checking the bike (i came home with under-inflated tires), not even an owner's manual. If Colin hadn't impressed me so much the first time I'd have walked out without buying anything. It's a good thing I'd found out most of what I needed the first time around. Look up Colin if you plan to go to that store. They have a decent collection of bikes, though I did find a better collection out at Don's bikes in Rialto and much better service there. This one's closer to work for me, so picked it for that reason. read more

I developed a major mechanical problem with my Trek Domane and took it to the Redlands Cyclery USA store. They found internal damage covered by the Trek warranty. The staff worked with Trek to completely replace the bike frame with a new Domane SLR frameset and replaced all existing components at no cost to me. Staff kept in touch with me on the progress and options during the work, which was done in a timely manner. When I picked up the bike, staff went over the repairs and the various operations of the new frame. The bike rode fantastic on my first ride after picking it up. read more

I give this business one star. Based on the fact that every time I visit Redlands Cyclery I have never been approached by the staff or even acknowledged. I am a simple consumer. I don't expect the best customer service but just at least acknowledge that I am there in your shop. Prices are about the same in any other bike shop. Their store lay out is fantastic. And I would love to continue going here. But what gripes me is that they are just horrible with their customer service. Horrible to the point where I can't see my self going back there ever. At least ask me if I need help or just a simple hello. In this economy a business needs to have great service and Redlands Cyclery just plain lacks in that department. read more
