We were amazed at the ease of availability for appointments, short waiting time and thorough care by the team of Oyster Bay Animal Hospital and Dr. Lancer. We knew after Stormie's initial visit this was the place we felt most comfortable for her routine and sick visits. Dr. Lancer went above and beyond on his initial visit with Stormie to explain what her sickness was and even followed up personally the next day to check in on how she was doing. Our most recent visit we were allowed in the facility with masks. Everyone inside was so kind to Stormie and myself. Cassie treated Stormie like she was her own and tried to calm her during the exam by Dr. Lancer. Stormie was nervous but felt the care and love by everyone that works there. Dr. Lancer takes the time to explain to you during his exam his findings, treatment options and referrals. You do not feel rushed or another number which I felt at previous doctor's appointments for Stormie and even myself. I really am thankful for Oyster Bay Animal Hospital and the care that they give Stormie. Everyone goes above and beyond when she comes in and I know I can trust them with the care of my dog. Oyster Bay Animal Hospital is affiliated with West Hills which is 24/7 and emergency if needed and Gold Coast which is for specialty services which I find comforting to have these options and Stormie's records easily accessible. I will recommend Oyster Bay Animal Hospital to all my pet lovers.

The staff was caring and supportive. My boy couldn't walk so they had a blanket spread on the floor of the room. I was quite emotional despite my best efforts and they were gentle and supportive. I cannot recommend this hospital, with their amazing staff, enough. Dr Szendrey is the best of the best. My boy has crossed over to be free, and my heart is feeling the worst sadness, but I feel deeply he had the best care. And I thank the staff here for supporting me and my beloved Copper in a very difficult time.

The treatments were targeted to relieve her discomfort and it worked . I'm quite sure that the laser treatments prolonged Rosie's life and certainly improved her quality of life . One of the most comforting thing about adopting from Ladew is knowing that they quarantine and check for things other shelters do not, such as ringworm. I had an experience in the past where the cats I took home had ringworm and the shelter didn't even know. Ladew is the exact opposite: they take every precaution and ensure a safe, smooth landing. Not only do they have a great regular adoption program, but their senior for seniors program is inspiring. They cover the medical costs of senior cats that are adopted by senior adults. I think every senior should have a senior cat at home, and with the biggest expense covered it's a no-brainer. All in all, I love the Ladew Foundation's mission and highly recommend them!

It's a beautiful old Victorian house devoted to cageless living for almost all of the cats (depending on medical condition). What's really special about this shelter is that their mission is to rescue cats from overcrowded municipal shelters. Many of the cats they take in have special needs such as injuries from being hit by a car, and they would probably be euthanized at any other shelter. I adopted from Ladew again earlier this year and have to say that the shelter is clean and extremely well maintained, the staff are amazing, and the assortment of cats is incredible - from kittens to seniors, and rambunctious to shy. I've referred family and friends to them as well - all good experiences. The cats that are rescued by Ladew are the luckiest cats on earth!!

I had read about Royal Farewell and had them saved because I knew someday, THIS day would come. We texted Dr Fasano 1st thing in this morning. He responded quickly via text, then a call a little while later. We explained that we came to the decision to put our almost 20 year old best Buddy to peace. We couldn't wait all day for the inevitable, it was tearing our hearts apart. He was able to rearrange a few things and got to us sooner than later. He was so professional and caring from the moment he walked in our door. We were able to hold our Buddy while Dr Fasano respectively did what needed to be done. He listened to our stories, as we cried through our last moments....and then that was it. Buddy got his wings. I cannot recommend Royal Farewell enough. We are so glad we didn't have to bring Buddy to a cold, scarey, sterile vet room. He got to cross the bridge, in my arms, in his house, with Dr Fasano caring and consoling us the entire time. Thank you so much, Dr Fasano. You made this heartbreaking time for us so much easier, and even less painful.

Every time a tummy upset happens they are always able to get us in for an appointment immediately. The vets, vets techs, and receptionists always answer my million questions with knowledge and a smile. They are so well informed and even gave me advice on pet insurance as it was confusing me! The last tummy upset was a bad one and quite scary. A few days after our appointment Dr. Shannon personally called to see how she was doing. I was happy to say she was almost fully recovered. Scheduling an appointment has always been pretty easy, and the front desk staff have always been very nice/helpful to me. After adopting my formerly feral girl, i was a frequent flyer for a few months with prep, surgery, and after care visits, and they were always willing and able to answer my questions regarding prescriptions and payments. Most recently, I saw Dr. Lotus Altholtz, who was very kind and gentle to my 2 nervous cats (though my cats might complain that she wants me to cut back on their treats a bit). The biggest stars though, are the assistants (nurses ?) who help keep my 2 calm and on the table during exams. They are all very friendly, and help put both my cats and me, a very nervous first time cat owner, at ease. Sometimes appointment waits run a little long, but its a small price to pay, and they are certainly more timely than any of my doctors! I would definitely recommend using them as your vet!
