I've been trying to reach someone there for days and finally did today at 11 and was told they'd call back 3+ hours pass and nothing. I started calling and got VM fir the last hour. It's now 3PM. I'm out of my head in pain. They won't call back or schedule. My insurance is excellent btw and I simply want them to extract the tooth that's causing this pain. They want to charge $400 besides my insurance? I'm in pain and I'm losing my mind. I'd literally try to pull it out if I could. They have failed me for sure. Suffering and searching for help. Is there an honest dentist out there? Good help me forgive them.

It started with billing issues where we were over charged and getting credits back, then under charged and getting billed later. The dentist has ALWAYS been rough, insanely heavy handed, jerking your lip down shoving your cheek open etc. but I always just ignored it because I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he would do procedures other dentist would not (like filling in wisdom teeth) all 3 of us agree that hes insanely rough. However it has gotten so bad that my family and I will not be coming back. I was already not going to return after my last visit where the dentist came into clean my teeth and he barely tapped each tooth and just zipped away and I knew immediately my teeth were not properly treated, it was very "yeah yeah blah blah whatever you're done". He also did not explain or even talk to me about any treatments needed to my teeth, I was shown my xrays and all my "needed work" by someone working the office who of course could not answer my questions. Crazy. The doctor should always be the one explaining needed treatments and going over x-rays. They do not keep up with your chart, my son had "needs wisdom teeth removed" for over a YEAR after his wisdom teeth were already removed. Today he got 3 fillings and came home with cuts on his gums and lower cheek (where he couldnt have bitten them) he said the dentist was rude to him and he was in constant pain the entire time. I asked if he told the Dentist he was not numb, he said no I didnt know that was an option, which tells me the dentist didnt go over any "if you feel discomfort raise your hand" talks or any thing like that. They encourage people who are sitting in the chair to leave them google reviews for free stuff, I had done it prior to this because I was motivated by the staff. I have deleted my prior review because I can no longer recommend this dentist. The bells and whistles are all nice and the staff is nice (aside from the dentist). Nice tech, nice lush gadgets to make you feel comfy, which they clearly need since the dentist himself is void of comforting ability. When I called the office manager to inform them of my concerns and to tell them that my son came home with complaints, they seemed receptive at first, then they called me back and informed me that they disagree with my sons complaints and will be sending me a dismissal letter, meaning I couldn't come back even if I wanted to basically. "We are going to send you a dismissal letter, we think it would be better if you saw another dentist". I was going to anyway, but this also shows that they cant handle client feedback. I was polite on the phone with them and only told them what my son has told me and what my experience was.

When we were billed for the services, the amount seemed extremely excessive. My husband called our Insurance company and was informed that Harvest Dental was not an "In Network" provider, so, while our insurance would pay for the amount of services provided based on their own fee schedule, the balance had to be borne by us. Harvest Dental should have explained that while they accepted our insurance they were not subject to the fee caps set by our insurance, thus allowing them to charge whatever they want with the patient paying for the balance. In reviewing the reviews below, it appears that this is a common practice at this location as it allows them to earn higher fees at their patient's expense, which I believe is very deceptive.
