We sat at the bar so it was nice that our bartended served our entrees for us and dishes were coursed well. While we didn't get the pistachio gelato this time, one of my favorites! Truth be told, I came here for Miami Spice on precisely one of the nights they weren't doing MS, a Friday night and that, actually worked out because I got to taste some incredibly delicious food. The Miami Spice menu was good but I believe I ate just as good or better. Sitting at the bar, I got to hang out with Luigi, one of the best in the biz. He was a joy to interact with and provided top tier service. Started the meal with a glass of Chardonnay to get me warmed up and the rest is history. One thing I will tell you about the food here...presentation is everything. Beautifully plated dishes that are just as tasty as they're artsy and avant-garde. So let's get into it... GRILLED OCTOPUS: this was a work of art, I mean go look at the picture and it will speak for itself; but the actual octopus, well it was superb to say the least. Tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection but that crispy rice on the side, the sunchoke emulsion, potato crumble for some crunch, lemon aioli and BBQ sauce, all together...foodgasm. All these components work together in unison in the best way possible. SPAGHETTI ALLA CHITARRA VONGOLE & RAW LANGOUSTINE TARTARE: one of the most spectacular pasta dishes I've had to date and another work of art. Cooked al dente as it should be and a unique broccoli rabe cream, I'd say it was on the lighter side and that was ok with me especially since the octopus wasn't necessarily light. I couldn't get enough of it and although I didn't get to try the bucatini pasta, this would be another favorite for sure. CHEESECAKE: dessert was brought with a cute little presentation and believe me when I tell you this is no ordinary cheesecake you've ever tasted...this is one is for the books. Once again, stunning looking plate and phenomenal in taste. I went there for the tiramisu but even Luigi suggested this one because he said I wouldn't regret it and my dude wasn't lying. There was so much amazing food passed around and going back and forth from the kitchen that there's no doubt in my mind I'll become a fan of this fine dining establishment. Dōma was a delightful surprise. I was looking for a good Italian restaurant for a date night with my wife, and after reading some reviews and seeing a few photos, I decided on this spot. I made the reservation, and we went for dinner. The atmosphere is charming, vibrant, and full of life. The place was packed, and although we were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time, the wait and the experience were worth it. From the moment we sat down, the service was impeccable. We were attended by several servers and received a complimentary plate of parmesan croquettes from the chef. They weren't anything extraordinary, but they were a nice start. The food, however, was the real highlight. We ordered several dishes to share, and each one exceeded our expectations. The "Al Tartufo Nero" tagliolini was spectacular, the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe simply unforgettable, and the Saffron risotto with Ossobuco, though a bit heavy on the citrus or zesty lemon for our taste, was very well prepared. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and each dish allowed us to appreciate the authentic flavors of its ingredients. To finish, we had the chocolate mousse with a scoop of coconut ice cream--a delicious combination that rounded out the night perfectly. All in all, Dōma is a gem in Miami for anyone looking for great Italian food and a special atmosphere. Came here for weeknight dinner - it was half empty after a large party had just left. The wait time was exceptionally long - the waiters looked directly at you and stood there. It was very hard to get their attention. The appetizers were good but many of the advertised drinks on their website were no longer available and what they had wasn't much so we got traditional cocktails - very watered down and basic. The apps were ok. We were recommended to order the steak and it was pretty awful, not cooked to our request, super chewy, and no real side. We were highly disappointed, especially because we were told its one of the best dishes in the restaurant. Ambiance is a 10/10. This is the perfect spot for date night and also an intimate dining experience with friends or family. I sat the bar with my friends and I preferred it than being at a table because it was on the side so it felt very private. We had our space to talk and enjoy our meals. I ordered the fried calamari which was a little salty but had the perfect crisp for texture. I ordered the crème brûlée and although there was a THICK layer of sugar on top, the cream underneath was *chef's kiss*. I normally don't go for such a basic dessert but it seemed like that was my best option. Recommendation for management: add some interesting options for dessert. This restaurant was recommended to me over a year ago. I finally got over here. A miami spice menu. A lot of food for the price. Portions aren't large. But I left more than fulfilled. Beef tartare was very good. Served inside a half bone. I would like plain like crackers. Calamari was ok. Too much salt. Beef Ragu Pasta was excellent. salmon was good as well. I FINALLY visited Doma on Saturday night and understand why the reviews are so great. My friend and I made a reservation for 6:45 PM because the place was practically booked and we couldn't get anything later unless we wanted to dine at 10 PM (we didn't). Once we checked in, we were told to sit at the bar until our table was ready. I ordered a "caracas-bogota"and my friend had a cosmo. Both drinks were great. Once we were escorted to our table, the host immediately placed our bags on hooks underneath it. Similarly, our needs were anticipated throughout the evening. The service was exceptional. Soon after we sat, we were giving a generous breadbasket with what tasted like a tasty mixture of ricotta and butter. For our appetizer, we ordered the ZUCCHINI FLOWERS TEMPURA which were a delightful delicate flavor. I'd definitely get them again. We then shared the BUCATINI 'CACIO E PEPE' which was wonderful, and the truffle filet, which was very good. For dessert, we had their taken on the tiramisu which I thought was a dream. I had a great time at Doma. From the minute we walked in, the service was excellent. The servers were attentive and gave great recommendations for the table. I was blown away with how tasty all the dishes were. The truffle pasta was basic but had the perfect amount of truffle. The beef rigatoni was also delicious, it was a little undercooked and the pasta could have been a little softer for my liking but tasty nonetheless. The lamb chops were also pretty good. In the heart of Wynwood, Doma transports you to a world of fine dining with delightful Italian cuisine. Our server Dominico was friendly and attentive. We started with a round of drinks, I had a mango caipirinha and it was great. The lychee Martini my date had was also very good. They brought two little fried balls as complimentary appetizer. Then we got a grilled octopus starter. Nicely charred smokey tentacle with a small dollop of wild rice. We each got a pasta and shared a third one and it was definitely a lot of food. The black truffle pasta was both our favorites. So rich and creamy, not overwhelming at all. And it's loaded with fresh black truffles on top. My spaghetti with clams and raw langoustine was very unique. A lot of pine nuts and pesto favor and very saucy. The noodles were cooked al dente and there was a lot of diced langoustine in the pasta. My friend's ossobusco was meaty and very tender. The risotto was a little too heavy for me and my love for cheese but it still tasted great. We saved some room for dessert and got a hazelnut gelato to share. It was light and not super sweet which is just perfect for me. Fabulous Italian dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious. I came on a Tuesday evening with a group of 4 to try the Miami spice dinner. Our reservation was for 6 and we were basically the only people there for a while. We ordered a few drinks to start and then a few selections from the Miami spice menu. Before our appetizers came out we were surprised with some delicious arancini bites. I started off with the burrata and it was incredible. I also dabbled in the calamari that was extremely fresh and delicious. For the main I opted for the CACIO de pepe and it was extremely decadent and filling. I had very high hopes and returned here after a group dinner to give it a shot for myself. I had remembered very much liking the vibes, energy, service, and food (we had the steak, fish, hamachi crudo, 2/3 pastas and of course, the gelato). Energy was great and service was welcoming when we arrived. Ambiance was fun and energetic - loud but not disruptive. We got seated and were met with a somewhat surly server. The tuna app we had was great and beautiful in presentation, flavor, and execution. The pastas we ordered, however, were beyond al dente and hard. The flavors were lacking and the portions were quite small for the price. The fish was excellent however and very well done. All in all, would I come here for another meal? I'd consider it but not for the pastas - this has become more of a fish restaurant to me after this latest experience. And the servers could use a bit of a lesson in attentiveness. read more

First off, this place is worth the hype. A smaller dining area that is open to the backyard seating as well as the kitchen makes you feel like you were in one large dining room at home. Services, professional, and relatively prompt for a fine dining then you. Pastas are all homemade with many of the specialty items, being more popular than a pasta itself. Aside from a seafood, spaghetti, butter, noodles, and rigatoni, they were not many options on the menu aside from that for sure pasta dishes. The appetizers and entrées, which are shareable I really where it's at here. Our table ordered most of the menu and shareable plates to pass around, and I tried to ask for an off the menu carbonara to be made for my review, and was somewhat rudely, told that the chef makes no accommodations for requests, and that he refuses to make a carbonara. Not sure what the hesitancy is for placing such a highly requested dish on his menu. Regardless, this is the only reputable Italian restaurant that I have encountered in Miami thus far read more

Cuisine - I have yet to have a dish or cocktail at Doma that I did not love, and everyone I've dined with has been highly impressed as well. Please save room for dessert! The pistachio gelato is to die for. I've heard that they make a limited amount, so let the server know that you want the gelato after the main course when you order your appetizers. Service - The service is impeccable from the moment you walk into the restaurant. The waitstaff is super attentive and pays attention to even the smallest details. Ambiance - Doma is on the smaller side, which makes for a more intimate look and feel. I would describe the decor as chic and sexy. There are three seating options - the bar, indoor, and outdoor. The outdoor seating has a cool garden feel, and there is a retractable ceiling. There is an open kitchen that you have a view of from most tables, which is cool to get a glimpse of the excitement and how the magic is made. Location - Although Doma is located in Wynwood, it is a few blocks off from the main drag. However, you're still close enough if you want to hang out in that area after dinner. Parking - I have not had an issue parking. There are a few spots for street parking in front of the restaurant, a valet next door (~ $10), and a parking lot across the street. To wrap things up, I highly recommend this restaurant and it will be very high on my list of restaurant recommendations when asked. read more

Recently saw someone try to hype this dumpster of a place online and I'm here to tell you to avoid at all costs. Terrible experience! I don't even know where to begin. The food was absolutely disgusting--cold, bland, and unappetizing. It felt like it had been sitting out for hours. The chairs were beyond uncomfortable, and not only were they poorly designed, but mine actually broke as soon as I sat down! (I'm a 5'11 male weighing 180 pounds). The staff didn't seem to care at all. The waiters were rude, dismissive, and didn't even apologize when I told them about the chair. It was clear they didn't want to be there. The entire place had an off-putting, unfriendly vibe. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are so many better options out there. Save yourself the trouble. read more

AMAZING little Italian restaurant situated right in the art district of Wynwood. The ambiance of this place, both inside and outside is so cute and trendy. Absolutely loved sitting out back, they've decorated the outside patio very nicely with plants and lighting (you won't even feel like you are in Wynwood). The group of us ordered an array of items off the menu- the meatballs (with spicy provolone cheese and tomato sauce), the zucchini flowers tempura (with ricotta, basil, eggplant emulsion, and balsamic vinegar), the caprese burrata (with prosciutto, heirloom tomato, basil, and arugula), the tagliolini al tartufo nero (with black truffle, butter, and parmesan cheese), and the lobster linguini (cooked in a tomato bisque with tomatoes). The lobster linguini was the special of the night- which they brought tableside and served in front of us. My FAVORITE thing on the menu was the fried zucchini flowers- they had just the right amount of batter on them, and when you bit them, hot creamy ricotta cheese spilled out of the center. One of the most unique and delicious dishes I have ever had. For dessert we ordered the cheesecake, panna cotta, chocolate cake, and creme brûlée- all were fantastic. What stood out to me, even more than the food, was the exceptional service. Always someone checking in on you, filling your glass of wine, cleaning up your table cloth- I really was impressed by the service, as was everyone at the table.
