Since their move, they now sell cards and flower bunches in addition to their usual Birchcliff merch, coffee and food. They have a rotating seasonal menu. For the fall I decided to try the Pumpkin & Hazelnut Chai Latte. When you put cinnamon on top it tastes just like a Gingerbread cookie! I also ordered a gingerbread cookie shaped like a flower basket from @gbcookiescompany. Pricing is more or less the same as before the move. The ceilings are much higher in the new space. The outdoor patio is now more private and serene. There were only two people working the til and making drinks so sevice is slower than a Tim's style joint. The coffee is decent - but nothing really to write home about. Just a standard latte, nothing memorable. HOWEVER, the ham and cheese croissant is probably one of the best I've had in a while. I think this store fits really well in this strip of shops as it carries local product as well as specialty products I've seen online but never in store before. I think it designed really well. They have a small cafe area where you can have a beverage or coffee on the patio or at the tables in the restaurant. My one wish is that the markup was not so high on some of the items. The Momofuku items for example appeared to be marked up by $10 which does not incline me to buy them from this shop. The markup on items is the reason I took 1 star off the review.

I've seen them throughout the years where they went from a small shop with a few seats to only having a take out window during the pandemic. Now they have plenty of seating for guests to enjoy their beverages and pastries. Every time at Bud's the service is friendly and the coffee is great. I usually get a cappuccino or a cortado which is always made at a reasonable time. There are plenty of cozy corners for which you can enjoy your caffeine.
