Denis and Alex were given the complex task of converting my Rubbermaid garden tool shed into a backyard observatory with a motorized roof. This required removing the stock roof, adding an internal frame with 2x4s, constructing a sliding roof on industrial drawer slides, attaching the rack and pinion gear to control the roof as well weatherproof siding. They were able to finish the job in under 48 hrs total time and at a very reasonable cost. They are very professional and clean and will get any job done quickly. I found Alex on Yelp and saw all the glowing reviews. I now am adding my glowing review to the list. first of all, Alex showed up right on time for both the estimate and the drywall work. I got five estimates ranging from $700 to $1300. I know construction and those prices were nuts for the work to be done. Alex gave me an estimate of half of that. I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. Now, I wouldn't use anyone else for handyman work. He's a super nice guy and really cares about the quality of his work. There are so many handymen that will tell you tell you they will do it but have two or more jobs going on and take forever to get to you or will stop in the middle of a job to go work another one. Not true with Alex. He came by three times in five days to do two drywall coats and a final sanding. After I painted it, I cant even tell where the new drywall is. He may do painting too but I'm good with that. He also did some caulking around our shower and it looks great. Look, I'm very particular about any handyman work and I'd give Alex 10 stars if I could. He asked me if I wouldn't mind reviewing him on Yelp. I told him he didn't have to, I was already on it. Seriously, give him a shot, he's amazing. read more

This review is about Denis who answered my call. I had a towel rack that was accidently ripped off of my bathroom wall and needed drywall repair and paint. I also had some scrapes on a nearby wall that needed touch-up & paint. Denis did the repairs and also installed a grab bar in lieu of the towel rack which gives greater stability. In addition, he hung a calendar for me on the inside of my kitchen cabinet door that had been insecure & falling off . . . he didn't even charge me for that!
