I USE to do all my guy shopping at D&B, I would rather chew on broken glass with an acid chaser before I would ever step 1 foot in that business again, I wanted to buy a gun recently but had just moved to a new address, was told I would need to get a temporary ID with my new address on it, so off I go, from the new D&B off of aviation way, all the way into Meridian wait in line, pay $35 get my paperwork from DMV, drive all the way back and get told by the same clerk at the gun counter that they could not except that paperwork, so D&B CAN KISS MY MONEY GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it overpriced, yes. Is it convenient, yes Is the customer service great, yes Are the employees knowledgeable, yes Is the gun counter freaking awesomeness, yup Do they have like 4 isles of fishing gear? Yes Are the open after 6in Sunday, No I love D&B and even though it's an over priced upscale bohemian boutique barn store, they have a lot of useful stuff that sometimes I do t want to drive all the way into the ghetto of Nampa to buy. The Employees are super nice, the gun counter guys are funny, and the garden ladies are always sweet. Can't say enough good things about this place. Yes you will pay a few dollars more for that can of rustoleum or whatever but sometimes it's worth it. The snack section upfront is also pretty great! read more

I tried to buy some salt that was on a pallet and the clerk and assistant manager refused to sell it to me saying it was for store use. It wasn't marked for store use or not for sale. They were both very rude. They moved the pallet after I tried to make my purchase. The worst customer service I've endured in a long time! I will never shop at D&B again. How was it my fault, you didn't mark it not for sale? I went out of my way to visit your store and your employees treated me like it was my problem they didn't do their job properly! Why wouldn't you sell the bag to me, then put the rest in the back? Please teach your staff some customer service! read more

D&B has such a variety of good quality items. Last Christmas, my wish list was all D&B clothing. All the items wear well, are comfortable and fit. When comes to home maintenance, I like being able to purchase just the parts I need and not a whole component for items such as irrigation systems. The plants in the garden section do well once they are brought home as the staff keep them well watered, healthy and in the summer months under a shade cloth. read more

Living in Seattle on a small lot, I have no need for tractors or other farm equipment, at least not now. What I do need is bladder control. For my dog. Poor pup developed cystitis as a result of his metronomic chemotherapy treatment. We found "Nutri-Vet" brand purchased at Pet Smart to work really well for him. I'll pay the $20 price tag for 90 chewable tablets, but since he needs 6 tabs a day, and because we are spending a significant amount of cash on other medications and supplements, I went online to search for a better price. Finding many companies selling Nutri-Vet Bladder Control for $16-25, I was about to scrap my search when I stumbled on D&B Supply. $12.99. I rubbed my eyes. Was that really a "1" in front of the "2?" Yep. Free shipping on orders of $50? Rubbed my eyes again. Confirmed. Better Business Bureau rating of A+? I was sold. Sign me up for four bottles of Bladder Control, please. Busy store. Most of the customers are not wearing masks and several of the staff are wearing their masks under their noses or even around their necks. We have been shopping her for 4 years, but the last year feel like we almost live here. The staff knows us by first name. Is so helpful always willing to go the extra step to help us out - even when we show up 10 minutes to close because we forgot something we needed or got out of work late and need to get stuff to finish at our little homestead. When they have sales and are out of stuff they will call and get it sent from another store (even in Baker City) and we don't have to drive there. I have been to the store in Boise once and although they were ok, it wasn't the same. Can't say enough about the staff! read more

A client of mine has been in search of a good horse tank for the winter and since she is clear in Boise wanted to pay over the phone and I would just pick it up. She asked pricing on a 50gal Rubbermaid and wanted info on the galvanized. They gal told her that they were so much more expensive so my client (not knowing how small a 50 gal is) paid for the tiny 50gal. I went and picked it up, didn't ask questions as I didn't have time to deal with it taking twenty minutes to figure it out. I went home and found a 100gal galv. Stock for $3 more.... Thanks for ripping off another customer. I will be returning this 50 gal and getting my clients money's worth. read more

Great place to shop for anything you need for the farm, ranch, rodeo or hard to find Stuff! I am always amazed on what I can find at D&B. From Plants, to seeds, lawn care to spraying machines, Cat and dog Vet supplies to Horse feed and baby chicks, rabbits and ducks! Nuts and bolts to shovels and horse shoes! This is my favorite store!! I just moved to Caldwell and needed to pick up a few things for the house and to my suprise they have the cutest women's clothing, as well as a great selection of things for the whole family. They always have those hard to find rock revival and miss me jeans in stock and great cowboy boots for my husband and son. The staff is always so friendly and helpful too.
