All in all the kids had fun, had lots to entertain them, but pricey for multiple visits.

The greens seemed to be around 75-90 yards. You kick a soccer ball to a large hole with a flag with as few kicks as possible. There was a total of 9 holes. The holes were up and down hills, across a field and across a water feature. There was a little shade along hedgerows but most of the course is in the sun. One hole offered a bench to sit down at but the rest is walking or running to kick your soccer ball. There isn't any dribbling involved really. At first our friend wondered why there weren't 18 holes but we soon realized that 9 holes was plenty with the hot sun and length of each hole. Afterwards we bought some water from the concession and played mini-golf. My husband and I have played this course various times when we still lived in Clifton Park. It was my favorite place to play because the greens are normally clean and well kept, also there isn't a ton of shade so there are less mosquitos. I like their water features but it seems like they're frequently if not always under renovation. At the end when we turned in our putters there was a little pachinko slot for our golf balls where you could win a free small ice cream, a free game of mini-golf or foot golf or a free game of foot-golf. We noticed that it was setup so that there were no losing spots. Everyone's a winner I guess :) After 18 holes of mini-golf you can sit inside or out and enjoy some Perry's ice cream. I grew up in western NY and so I'm a big fan of Perry's ice cream which is NYS made. Some of my family is even from Perry, NY although that's not where the ice cream is made exactly. Regardless, they have a wide variety of hard ice cream flavors. I ordered a kids/small (they're the same thing at this place) and it came with 2 scoops. The Brownie Blitz and Pistachio were both delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for a fun family outing or a date night. Tip- you can play minigolf and foot golf for $13 a slightly discounted rate. Also, there were signs advertising couples mini golf for $18 on Thurs.

We come for the alone sledding and it's super fun: there are 3 tracks, 2 of which are fast and one that's for slow riding. The sledding is exhilarating and it's a really beautiful course that goes through trees. The snack bar is also solid for a ski resort. I got fish tacos and they were very tasty.

We first did the low course, and then all except one member of our group opted to continue on to the high course. We had previously done the canopy tours at Adventure Park at Storrs and Treetop Adventures, and we all felt that this course was more challenging. We spent about 1.5 hours completing both courses. We all felt very safe here, and were given excellent instructions on how to clip in and out. The staff was really helpful and the equipment was well maintained. Be sure to make a reservation - it does fill up on summer weekends!

From the very start, the staff brought humor, warmth, and professionalism to our group--making everyone feel comfortable and well-prepared. Their friendly approach and clear guidance helped ease any nerves and turned doubt into excitement. At 73, I'm in reasonably good shape, and my granddaughter is 18. While there's a bit of hiking between each zip line, only one stretch--leading to the final run--was truly challenging. It's a steep uphill climb with few chances to catch your breath. I didn't hold up the group, but I'll admit I haven't tackled a hike like that in quite some time... so consider yourself warned! That said, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Sharing laughs and thrills with my granddaughter created memories I'll cherish forever. I wholeheartedly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a healthy dose of excitement, connection, and joy.

The Butterfly Conservatory has been around forever, but I finally got the chance to visit for the…read morefirst time this July. You enter through the gift shop into a small exhibit room. At first, it's a little underwhelming with some insects, lizards, and frogs in a small room. But once you step into the butterfly area, that's when the magic happens. And yes "magical" really is the word to describe this place. But do be prepared, it is hot and humid inside to recreate the butterflies' natural habitat. There are so many different types of butterflies, with so many colors and patterns. They do land on you and apparently they have preferences for certain colors, so try to wear those colors if you want them landing on you. When we went, it wasn't super crowded but also wasn't empty, so it still felt peaceful. This was such a special experience for my one year old son. I think this was a pivotal moment where he really opened up and started exploring on his own and it was amazing to watch. The water features, quails walking around, Akbar the bird, and the butterflies all came together to create such a unique environment. Relaxing, therapeutic, and again, just magical. There are no strollers allowed inside. Toddlers will need to be watched since they can easily get curious and try to touch flowers or interact with the habitat. Parking is available right in front. There used to be a cafe here but it's gone now. There is a great restaurant across the street with beautiful views. Is it overpriced? Probably. Would I come back by myself? Probably not. But experiences like this are hard to put a price on. There really isn't anything else like this that I've experienced, and watching my son experience it for the first time made it worth it. Overall, this is a 5/5 experience. It may not be something I do all the time, but I absolutely think everyone should visit at least once.

But Roger shared with him his many years of knowledge. Tonight I'm seeing Terminator 2 and total recall. Along with new releases they are planning to do more retro movies this season so that's great. Everything at the snack bar is delicious cheeseburgers mozzarella sticks french fries popcorn. Make sure to get something at the concession stand when you come in. Because 60 to 70% of each dollar taken in at the box office Goes right back to the studios. Looks like it's the beginning of a great season under the stars that is much more enjoyable when seeing a couple of movies at a drive-in theater
