We had a small sheetrock repair job to have done. I contacted D&G and got a fair price quoted. I'll say it took a little effort on my part as far as confirming a date to do the work but they showed up on the day and time promised. When they got here I asked about expanding the job to paint one wall in our bedroom as long as they were there. I had planned on doing the wall myself but figured I'd see how much. They quoted a price that was less than what I would have paid for the supplies to do the job myself so I said go for it. In the end the crew did an excellent job and worked tirelessly to match the paint that was already there. I had several cans of old paint from the previous owner and they told me which were good, which were bad, and what each can was for (ceiling, wall, trim, etc.). In the future I'll just call D&G, no need to get several bids and interview contractors since I know I'll get a fair price, they'll show up when they said, and the work will be professionally done. Daniel sent out a color coordinator to work with us for the colors that we wanted and then he and his crew came out the next day and got to work. They finished extremely fast and did an AWESOME job. D&G did an awesome job! We started out using them because our ceiling fell through in our closet. They were able to come out the next day and had it done by later that afternoon. We then had our kitchen remodeled by them and later decided to use them for our master bathroom as well. They also have done painting in other rooms for us also. I reached out to several "drywall pros" I'd found here on Yelp, to finish the drywall work in my home - post Harvey. After several bids and conversations from various contractors, it was decided: Daniel @ D&G was who I'd settled on. He was the consummate professional from start to finish. Daniel and his guys promptly came in and finished some (already begun) drywall work and painting from Harvey damage to my home (which was pretty much the entire home.. Only a couple rooms had been hung before the task just became overwhelming for us to finish solo). He was attentive, responsive, eager to please, and the most pleasant and personable contractor at all times during the process. The most gratifying part of the experience was the complete understanding and respect he displayed for my situation and the concerns I was now haunted with due to dealings with previous "shoddy" contractors, and not only went above and beyond to place those fears at rest in my dealings with him and his team, but did so with ease and delicacy. When any issue arose - and let's be honest, they all do - he was extremely quick to resolve them and always open to communication. Hired to paint an entire house interior before we moved in. I'm pleased with the quality of the areas that were painted, however there were many areas missed upon initial inspection. The colors were similar, but had a different sheen. They came back out and did the areas I noticed a couple days later. I made final payment, but after moving in I found more edges were missed and an entire entry area was missed completely. Check, check, check and if possible use a different color to prevent this. read more

We needed two windows dry walled and re-finished from Hurricane Harvey damage along with painting the living areas of a 2-story home. Along with D&G, I had invited a few contractors to come over an propose on the work. Daniel was very professional in his communication and came over promptly to complete his bid walk. The cost was very competitive and the schedule was also accommodating. D&G's team came by at the time specified and worked exceedingly quick for the effort they were contracted. They were able to knock out an entire first floor living area (with two coats of paint) in one day AND that includes repairing one window. They finished the remaining second floor and window the following day along with a spot check and walk by Daniel himself on the third. His team was able to work around my work from home schedule and they cleaned their work areas after every day. Received 3 quotes for the job and Daniel quoted the best price. He was the only that came in and measured the walls, took notes of what we wanted done and then sent us a professional estimate by email. The others came in looked for a few minutes and quoted something on the spot, which was later backed by a written estimated as asked for. Daniel used the collected info to come up with a more competitive price. He was booked up for over a month, but we were not in a hurry. He also had to postponed the job one more time, but did so with plenty of pre-notice, again we did not care. The workers showed up on time, did a good job taping things off and quietly worked all day, which was good, since I had to work from home. They finished the job on day 2 as expected, cleaned everything up behind them. The ceiling they replaced looks great and so do the walls they painted. Great job.
