- First appointment for estimate, lost. They called to ask when appointment was. Called Nate and he said, Oh I scheduled you for the next Tuesday because that's what he had on his schedule... What!! - He schedule some painters for Monday. Painter showed up and started taping off and painting for the day. - Tuesday comes, No painters! Text and called letting Project Mgr. and owner know that painters hadn't showed. Response was that they had something come up. House was in shambles, taped off with plastic and paper. They arranged to have other painters there by noon, more taping and painting, about three hours. - Wednesday original painters decided to show up, I expressed my concerns about how they don't tape off lighting fixtures and vents and how they were getting paint on all these things with their "free hand" paint cutting. The crew did not like my advice/ criticisms and left. - Many more disappointments, overspray, areas missed/ incomplete areas, paint on light fixtures, cracks in walls that should have been filled prior to painting, painting only one side of door? Too many issues with this company, don't do it!

When it was time to start the work, there was 1 guy (2 if you count the dad who just tidied up) and it was going to be done in 1 day. Surprise to me but he said after they assessed it more, that was all it was going to take. Fine, I don't care as long as it's done and right. Katy Paint Pro wasn't the cheapest quote I got but also wasn't the most expensive. Turns out Jason had subcontracted the work out, which again, I don't care as long as the job is done right. Unfortunately it was not. Granted, they did do a good job in some areas, but not so much in others. It was late in the evening and seemed like they were rushing so they could leave. They were free handing transitions from ceiling to wall and not covering things up to protect from spilage. There was paint and spackle everywhere. I later called Jason to have the guy come up and finish and clean up the mess. He would contact the subcontractor but that guy would just give me the run around asking for more time or not answering. Tried calling Jason a few times and the same thing. I expected he send someone else to finish the work or something but same run around. Cross your fingers with this one.
