Run don't walk from this contractor. Will comes across very professional and talks about how much his reputation and his work means to him. We hired Will to do our new build he said it would take 8 weeks total inside and out we are now on week 15. We paid him on his timeline on time and he just up left. ( Will also tried to take all our paint we paid for) he would not answer our calls or text messages. He left our job unfinished. Will's finishing team is the worst I have ever dealt with. I never have seen such poor performance and laziness. Every door and door frame has runs running down it, all the baseboards they painted with the overspray and know it's all bumpy. Every time I would address any of my concerns he would say we have it. We go back at the end and make sure everything is sanded and painted correctly. That didn't happen. You would tell them that they need to fix it and come back to runs on the wall and paint all over my wood floor, faucets and door knobs. They would pee in cups and bottles and leave them in my attic. Do NOT hire him to do any kind of painting of your cabinets or stain and paint railing on staircase. We had other painters come in and they all told him he didn't do it right. It's why the stairs are different colors. We also paid a lot of money for our fireplace mantle and his painters would leave their drinks and hit it with their ladders and they damaged it when I addressed it with Will he sent a haha emoji to me. It is sickening how unprofessional he was. I hope this review helps about thinking twice before hiring this company. read more

Mannn I was SO stressed about pricing and materials with everything becoming more expensive and harder to access. Blackwood offered me the best price and payment flexibility around after I spoke with about 5 different contractors. They completed 2 bathrooms and my kitchen within 3 days while other contracts told me 5-7 days which is difficult when you're moving from an apartment with a set move out date. I'll be using them for other jobs that I may need help on in the future.
