We have been working with other appliance companies for over a year to get my Viking oven and cooktop repaired. It is a very long and complicated story but I found JT Appliance on a Google search, which I would really have loved to have seen a year ago. Tony, the owner, was kind enough to pull over, look at his schedule and put me in the book that week. Once he diagnosed, the parts were ordered that day and the repair happened shortly thereafter. There were bumps in the road which were Viking's fault but were handled by JT Appliance in a "time is of the essence" manner and it further contributed to the character of the company and Tony. She seems as if she incapable of providing truthful information or controlling her emotions when she is "overwhelmed" by phone calls. While it is understandable the products are refurbished and not brand new it shouldn't look as if they were recently removed from a foreclosed home. It was determined that a tech would need to come home and diagnose the problem for a charge. I agreed and proceeded to schedule a tech visit. After waiting for the tech to show up at the time agreed, the tech called me to let me know he got tied up and asked if we could reschedule for the next day. We did, and tech confirmed that he would be here between 10 and 12 PM. I proceeded to move around my schedule to make sure I would be home for the tech's visit, around 10 AM I reached out to the tech to confirm he was on his way and he texted me that he would not be able to make it until after 3 PM. Not what we had agreed on. I communicated to him that I made arrangements to make sure I would be here at the time agreed and he never responded. I called the main office and they told me to expect a call from the tech, The tech never called me or responded to my call. At 3:30 PM, I call the main office and tried to get an explanation of what happened but I was just told that they were going to reach to the tech again. I just cancelled the request. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service.
