I has a great experience with Abe's, although they didn't actually take care of my repair. Reason being is that they were concerned about the potential time frame to get parts for my washer from the manufacturer given holidays, etc. Rather than stringing me along, the lady that I spoke to suggested that an authorized dealer might be able to help me faster. She explained that they would be happy to help me as a customer, but not if I would have a bad experience IF there was a potential delay. I called Abe's because of solid reviews. The company seems nice and honest. When dealing with a repair, I often feel a bit at the mercy of technicians or repair people, but Abe's was great. The compressor went out on my LG fridge (thankfully under parts warranty), and after getting a lot of (bad) noise about how long it would take to get a tech (LG wanted 7 days!) as it was coming up on Memorial weekend, LG gave me a list of their authorized repair outfits, and Abe's was the only one who would make it before the weekend. Sam came and confirmed the problem, and said for a fee, LG would overnight the part, and, although it didn't really fit his schedule, he could find some time and install it. Saturday came, and Sam was there and after about an hour-and-a-half, my fridge was running. All the while the communication from their group was tremendous. They called me whenever there was anything significant (when he'd arrive, when the part came in, and so on). Can't give a higher recommendation than having dealt with Abe's. read more

A big thanks to Nicky at Abe's Appliance Repair.I called Abe's Appliance Repair as my 13 yo LG refrigerator freezer and ice maker had suddenly stopped working! The refrigerator section was ok. As a result I lost a lot of food in the process. I called Abe's to get a ballpark estimate on a repair, thinking that it might be as simple as a capacitor. When going through all of the the potential scenarios with Nicky, she just offhandedly mentioned a customer that she had spoken with recently who had accidentally pushed the settings on the front of the fridge in the wrong direction, causing the freezer to defrost and the ice maker to cease working! I believe that is exactly what has happened in my case. She told me to check the settings and sure enough the refrigerator has been working since. Her advice has saved me a great deal of money and I can't thank her enough. She has been there a long time and really knows her stuff. Thank you Nicky. We had a problem with our Samsung refrigerator and had tried all the DIY on you tube with no resolve and were reluctant to call for a repair because we didn't want to get charge a outrages fee for a simple fix. I called several places for comparison and the service fee was the same for all, $65. The difference here was that he quoted you the price for the repair and not the hourly. So straight up and we knew what it would cost up front. Work was done quickly once the part was obtained. I appreciate knowing up front what the cost will be for repairs. We recently needed a repairman for our refrigerator and it was difficult to find a wholehearted recommendation from friends. I lucked out by choosing Abe's Appliance Service. Technician/Owner is Sam and Nikki handles the phones. He came promptly, ordered the part (compressor under warranty, labor wasn't) and came back 3 days later as promised. The cost after installation was exactly what he quoted when he diagnosed the problem. No surprises. There was very good communication with Nikki, who called to keep me up to date on delivery schedule for part. Sam installed the new compressor with no issues. He knows what he's doing and just does it. This was one of the best companies I have used in Florida, and Sam is a very skilled technician. ABE's Appliance Repair SAVED OUR THANKSGIVING!! Our Kenmore over inner glass cracked two weeks before Thanksgiving. We called a few places and got the usual run around. They wanted $ just to come over and see our oven . I found Abe's Appliance Repair and called them Nicky answered the photo she was very professional and friendly too. I explained our problem and she went right into getting to the problem and a solution. She wanted me to send a photo of the serial number to her to avoid a service call and $ just to look. I did and with in 20 minutes called back and educated me on our oven and gave a perfect solution. Problem was the oven was 10 years old and parts were not easy to find. Nicky told me she found a part and with our permission and go ahead on the repair she would order it and setup an installation. Well the part came in broken and she didn't bat an eye she found another glass piece got it to her store and Sam the man came to our house the day before Thanksgiving to install THANKS TO ABE's Appliance Repair. I can't begin to explain how happy I am about the way Abe's handled my refrigerator issue. When my LG-LFX33975ST/105 stopped making ice and then starts losing temperature in the freezer, after 4.5 years I called Abe's and they came on time and told me I had a leak in my compressor and that it was probably covered under my warranty, I felt relieved. Over the next 3 months Nikki and Sam worked above and beyond even my expectations to bring this issue to closure. At every turn LG, which had a class action suit filed against them for much of what I was going through were working with Abe's because they are an LG authorized service provider. They filed the necessary paperwork and made the calls and Sam came to my home at least 6 times, maybe more and never complained. They stood by their word and made every effort to get it fixed or at least to the final conclusion that might have been , there's nothing more they could have done for me. Somehow, after Sam replacing the compressor twice and coming out to test and re-test multiple times, the freezer finally held the charge but the ice maker still would not work. We were happy just to have the freezer working at that point. But almost miraculously, about 2 weeks later the ice machine began working again??!! Now, I don't want to jinx this... but... it's still working 4 months later! I would recommend Abe's, Nikki and Sam to anyone without a moments hesitation. Do NOT use this company! Our 2 year old LG refridgerator stopped cooling. Callled LG they recommended Abe's. Service man came spent 15 minutes and told us probably compressor. LG warranty for service no longer in effect. Compressor is covered. Must pay 50% up front. Charge was $450. Asked what if it's not the compressor the service man said then we would need a new machine probably. Came back to install. Took less than an hour - $450 for under 2 hours total. Told us not to open for 2 days. Worked fine 2 days later, EXCEPT the sliding drawer was broken. We called Abe's. And we called and called and called. Now they will not even answer our calls or respond to messages left. We are talking about a low cost part. Do NOT use them. They overcharge and do not follow through. We are reporting them to LG to have them stop referring this repair service read more

We booked a service call on the basis that the technician would be able to assess two different appliances. The service man arrived as scheduled and was professional, however he advised us that they did not service on one of the appliances even though the appliance logo was on their business card. We pretty much knew what the recommendation would be with the one appliance he was able to review (time to replace it) so in essence we wasted a service call and a costly site visit fee. When we called them back to enquire why they said they could review both appliances when they could not they never returned our call.
