This company is super sketchy. The work itself was done fine, although the tech, Sam, seemed unhappy and irritated to be there. We had some light fixtures installed. The sketchy part that is that this contractor refused to give us their W-9 after we issued payment. We are required by law to obtain a W-9 for any work over $600 from all contractors from our account to prove that we issued these funds and that the contractor received this income. I called and emailed but they refused. Now it makes sense that they offer a 5% discount for cash-only payment (not even for checks) and refuses to give out a W-9 for any work over $600 (even though it is required by law) so they can avoid paying taxes. It seems unfair that they charge market rate AND avoid paying taxes, swindling money from the average American. read more

Oh my goodness. My husband informed me that our primary kitchen mood lighting light fixture was out a week before we were going to have a house full of guests for Thanksgiving. I had been in Oregon so I took him at his word and assumed we had an issue. We went to the local hardware and bought new bulbs, still didn't work. Case closed I thought, obviously we have a problem. We looked up these guys on Yelp and saw good reviews. They were very sweet on the phone and worked us in the day before the guests arrived. Sam arrived right on time, took a look at the fixture, asked all the appropriate questions (fortunately the man of the house wasn't home!) and then said, do you have a dimmer switch on one of the two switches? We do! Yes indeed we do! It's one of the cool newer ones that's barely noticeable - invisible even! ;) Sam walked to the switch, zwoop! Up the adjuster switch went, and miracle of miracles!, we had light! He didn't want to charge us and wasn't going to, but I insisted because they had worked us in to their busy holiday schedule. We got the dumb customer discount and it made for a good story around the dinner table. I'll definitely try them again when and if we actually have a problem! Embarrassing! read more

(Hang chandelier on 15 foot tall ceiling, move location 4 ft, with no attic and solid truss blocking the way. No ceiling damage and looks great! WOW!!!!! So fantastic. They were quick with the request for a quote on replacing an outdoor gfci outlet, they were great on pricing and when I asked how quickly we could get it done, I got a message back with "shoot me your address and we'll be right over." Duncan was here in a flash, and super polite, nice and was able to knock the job out right away. He set me up with EXACTLY what I needed and pointed out that the outlet wasn't working because the prior electrician who installed it put in an outlet that was not meant for outdoor use. I had D&J Enterprises come and install a ceiling fan with no attic access. Not only was Sam on time, but he explained the whole process, and put in our fan in record time with only 3 tiny holes in our wall/ceiling. I joked that if I did it I would have put 13 holes. He also helped me out by installing two smart switches (and showed me where our neutral wires were and how to make the switch work) and disconnecting an old hot tubs sketchy wiring the previous owner had done.
