The pulled pork felt more like a mystery sloppy joe, and the chicken was bloody and undercooked. Unfortunately there are not many positive options in this town anyways, but I would suggest the taco truck or the burger drive-thru if you find that you absolutely have to eat in this town. read more

We ordered the brisket plate and brisket sandwich with sides of corn, potato salad and beans and all items were tasty. The brisket was tender and the cream of corn was crunchy - it tasted like it was straight from a cob. The BBQ sauce was on the sweeter side with a jammy flavor. Potato salad was cold and had cheese and chives. We went at 3:30pm on a Sunday and they only had sliced brisket, pulled brisket sandwiches and sausage left. The portions were very generous! This was the best food we had on our trip to Olympic National Park! The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the side dishes were all flavorful and delicious. The owner and other employees were friendly and quick. The beef was good and tender and the ribs had a good rub and fell off the bone. The potato salad was different that it wasn't so much like a mayo based item but it was like a twice baked potato. Good: the beans could have been a little more flavorful, consistency was more thick like peanut butter than juicy in the pics. Better: the brisket was smokey, tender and tasty. My only gripe was more that a few pieces were gristly, but other than that. The slaw was very cold and fresh. They went a little more tangy than the usual creamy, and that paired quite nicely with the brisket. Best: potato salad was off the hook! Seemed natural and the sweetness was to perfection. I'd buy a bottle of sauce for sure. My brisket had no flavor. None. And, it was barely warm. Tender, just no flavor. My ribs also barely warm had good flavor however, the meet was NOT falling off the bone as it should. I had a hard time getting all the meat off the bone. I was sad that I left so much meat on the bone. I'm a firm believer if I spend money on it weather I like it or not I gotta eat it all. Or most of it so I'm not just wasting money.
