Made my second stop here a few days ago. The person working was really patient with us because we couldn't decide which I appreciated. My Mom asked who made the tamales and he said his Mom. And of course we want Moms tamales so we got a few. We also asked for hot sauce and he hooked us up. It was fire! We ate the tamales for breakfast the following day and realized he added an extra one. I'd go back and buy a dozen they were so good. Great spot. Listen, I know choices are VERY limited for the area and I know living in socal and being married into a Mexican family has spoiled me, but c'mon. My husband's burrito had lettuce. Que pena! My torta didn't have much flavor, despite being slathered in beans and packed with carne asada (which was crumbly by the way, had no onions or queso de Oaxaca). It took a while for us to get the food, which was fine because we know she caters to a lot of hungry, hard working folks around. As a foodie from LA, I will usually not give it a 4 stars as it's pretty much considered average Mexican food in LA. However I need to give shoutout to this location and owners who provide legitimate web burrito and tacos for the folks passing by Forks, WA. I actually like the setting a lot as it's semi open and feel like a bit glamping next to a park off the main US 101 freeway lol. I would recommend the wet beef burrito over the asada tacos. Some of the best tamales I had in the past years since I moved from California. We liked their food so much, we went for more today after our 7 miles hike at Hoh Rain Forest. Came here with a some friends last week. My wife got the veg burrito while I got the carne asada burrito. Neither were rolled tight and the tortillas were too small which meant that a lot of stuff spilled out all over and needed a fork literally two bites in. There was also no flavor or seasoning to the burritos and the meat was just dry and bland. The salsas were really good, especially the spicy salsa roja so I ended up basically dousing every bite in it. If you're used to eating good Mexican food, you're probably not going to find much you enjoy here. read more

I saw queaabirria tacos and couldn't say no! This is a little food truck with a small enclosed eating area. I say enclosed to mean tin shed with some picnic tables. The menu didn't state the tacos come with consommé but I thought it was hard to have quesabirria without it. The menu was right. They do not come with it. They did ask if I wanted a hot or mild sauce. I took the hot which was a standard arbol salsa. Long story short. The birria was bland and the tacos under seasoned. Wow, unacceptable food. I had a tamale which was good but likely made by someone else and brought here. My wife's veggie burrito was basically rice with lettuce. I had 3 tacos which you couldn't pick up because the tortillas were thin and flimsy. The meat was extra tough and gristly. Beans had no flavor and the rice was just sticky mush. Our hope now is that we don't get sick. You can do better than this. read more

We came here on a Saturday evening because the BBQ place next to it was closed. We were hungry so any food would taste good, right? I had the al pastor tacos with rice and beans. Meat was bland and underwhelming. The only thing that saved it was hot sauces provided. It just really just tasted like whatever hot sauce I selected with onions and cilantro. There were also less cilantro and onions than the Mexican places I usually visit. Rice was borderline mushy. Beans were okay. Both were also bland. It was a disappointment. Husband ordered the wet burrito. It had a lot of rice and not much meat. He also said it was bland but he also said the sauce was a lot spicier than any other Mexican places he has been to. The burrito is a lot smaller than a lot of other Mexican places not in this area. The service was fine. The girl running the food cart was nice and food came out really fast. Maybe the fastest meal I got at a Mexican place. I would prefer waiting longer to get better food though. Price was not worth the meal but perhaps it is more expensive because it is a small town. I would have given this place 2/5 stars but there isn't much of a selection of restaurants to choose from. You got a choice of burgers, bowling alley food, gas station food, and subway. Not even a McDonald's. There also is another Mexican restaurant that opened up but this place was closer. read more

Pretty good tacos! Fresh ingredients! The al pastor was quite smoky which I was not expecting. The chicken taco meat was really good juicy and tender without being greasy. Super cute, permanent food truck located in a lot right by D&K BBQ. There is plenty of parking on the lot, and several tables available for eating outside (a couple even under tent shades). There were plenty of options for a quick stop, and even horchata if you want something sweet. The person taking our order was also very friendly and patient while answering our questions! read more
