My friend and I stopped here while we were visiting Forks. I saw that it wasn't rated too well but I definitely enjoyed my experience here. We both got beef nachos to share, which were customizable. I got the sopes and my friend got the taquitos. We also got midday margaritas and it was strong, but what we needed for our day. The restaurant was pretty lively on a Friday afternoon, but cleared out while we were still eating. Our service was great and the waitress was attentive! Definitely would recommend Wen stopping by in Forks after your tour for Twilight or after some shopping. read more

We had such a rough time finding places to eat since it was on the shoulder season - and we're relived to find this place. A simple birria taco plate, and steak and shrimp fajitas were so good! This place gets really busy since theres not a lot of places to eat in forks. read more

Sat down. Watched two other parties come in after me get served waters and chips and salsa. Got up and walked out.

For a place called Sabor, there was no flavour. The refried beans were straight from a can and microwaved, no flavour. The rice was mushy and with very little taste. The enchiladas had meat that tasted sour. Service was also very lacking in hospitality, even with us all speaking Spanish! All in all while I do not think I will get sick having eaten here, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

Bad service. Upcharge on everything. 3/7 of our dishes had visible facial hair in it. Our server tried to convince us it was part of the tortilla (it was not). VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING. I'm fine with bad service but not bad food. We each had three bites of our lackluster lunches and walked away. Zero seasoning. Our service was friendly and they were happy to accommodate some special dietary needs we have. The restaurant had several booths and tables for customers. The food and drink options were plentiful, but everything lacked much flavor. We had chicken fajitas and shrimp fajitas, shared between three people. There were plenty of peppers and onions, but the proteins were less plentiful and overdone, a bit tough. There wasn't any extra salsa from the chips we'd ordered (which are often complimentary, but not here) and the fajitas didn't come with any more salsa. They brought us some when we asked though. There aren't a lot of eating options in Forks, but I'd probably stay home and make my own next time. I hope they're able to make some changes and have success. read more

The food that I did eat was mid at best. We found 8 hairs in two different dishes that we had. The server lied and said that it was charring on the tortilla. It was hair. This place is highly underrated. We split the cheese quisadilla which was cheesy and delicious! I really liked the salsa they brought out with the chips! I also had 2 enchiladas one asada and one chicken both with green salsa. I thought the chicken was much better than the asada. Strawberry marg was also tasty! Service was quick, the place wasn't busy, perhaps partly because of the questionable reviews. The decor was a bit dated and basic but that's what I expect from small town USA. Make sure you're not really hungry when you go because the service is very slow. Only one waiter who is also seating people and bussing tables. The food was delicious and they had kid friendly options like hamburgers and fries but it took a while to get our food. I ordered chile verde and husband ordered pollo a la crema. Both very good. Don't know why the half @ss reviews, this place is KILLER! Hole in the wall feel. I feel like I am in Mexico in the restaurant. Very fair price. Food is mind blowing. Check out these Fajitas. And the Barria quesadilla. Sometimes people get a bad night out but when I rolled through, this place killed it. I would definitely come back to this place. Oh and the Staff is super friendly too! The server, Linda is so very friendly, and I asked her if she could muddle some jalapeños in the watermelon margarita, and she did it for me, no problem, and it was a killer margarita. We were seated promptly & had our drinks within 5 minutes. I ordered the chile verde, rice, & beans plate. Which was very good, not overly spicy, yet had a nice tasting chile verde sauce. And the pork was cooked well & moist. My wife had a beef taco, w/ rice & beans. She stated her meal was good. With the quick service & good tasting meals. I'd return if in town again. This is a small town restaurant so our expectations were reduced to begin with; however, the food didn't come near being even "okay." We ordered combo fajitas but the only meat that came seasoned was the shrimp. Unfortunately, the seasoned shrimp was not fajita seasoning, instead, it was flavored with a thick, red adobo sauce. The steak was chewy and the chicken was overdone, both lacked seasoning. The veggies were over cooked and under seasoned as well. We also ordered carnitas de res. The steak was a cheap cut of chewy, bland flank steak- certainly not slow cooked until tender in spices. I've be The restaurant was pricey to begin with but way too pricey for the flavor, ambiance, and quality. I would have expected to pay $20 for both meals, not $66. By far, the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The chicken in the tacos had a weird taste, the asada didn't have much flavor at all and seemed stewed or baked instead of grilled. I asked for ala carte, but they gave me beans and rice anyway. The beans had slopped across the plate before they put my tacos on it, so the bottoms of the tacos were wet and falling apart. My son had a carne asada burrito, which had sloppy, flavorless, runny refried beans in it. It was terrible as well. The sauce on top of burrito had no flavor either. The number of 1 or 2 star reviews I write are few and far between. But, some deserve it. This establishment is under new ownership since my last visit to Forks a year ago. Previously when I would come it was OK Mexican food at reasonable prices. Maybe a 3 star rating. Under new management this has gone downhill in a number of ways, which is sad to see in Forks since there are only so many options in town. First, the prices are a lot higher. Some are outright shocking. Margaritas are priced as if this was the hot ticket in a big city or fancy resort town. Then the food...unfortunately it was pretty bleak. The menu options are pretty good, a fairly large selection to choose from. Without reading the detail I ordered the Chile Verde, a dish I enjoy often at Mexican restaurants. Unfortunately this came with diced chicken as opposed to slow cooked cubed pork. Who ever heard of Chile Verde with chicken? The sauce was green (got that right), but it was as thin as water and only a little more flavorful. The chicken looked like it was cooked in this sauce for a minute or two, the chicken did not have any flavor soaked in at all. My friend ordered a different chicken dish. Looked like the same diced chicken barely cooked in a different sauce. He felt the same way. Big disappointment, won't be returning. read more

Hmmmmm! So we just wanted to get a take out, they said 25 mins wait, so had a classic marg.. the marg was made with premade mix and was terrible. Still cost $13.5, like why do you have LA prices for shitty marg? We got our food 50 mins later. That was a long f'ing wait for very bad to mediocre food. And get this, they never gave us the tortillas for the fajitas. We only found out after we got to our Airbnb. Overall very disappointed. We just wanted decent food after a 5 hour drive.
