    Ruben and corkscrew fries
    Rachel W.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is warm and inviting. Family friendly pub where you can catch the Seahawks. They have board games, an upright piano, shuffle board and pool tables. There are 3 TVs. The Ruben was dry and needed more of everything except bread, more meat, sauerkraut, thousand island. The corkscrew fries where crispy and interesting. The pistachio cheesecake was delicious. Staff are friendly. You have to order at thr bar.

One of the best spots you can stop at on the Olympia Peninsula! The food is all made in house with care and the highest quality ingredients. Great menu options with a veggie patty for vegetarians. Drinks are delicious and worth the price! The inside is small but arranged in a way where you don't feel like you're sitting on top of other guests. All of the workers are fantastic and truly make this a spot to stop!

Finally a good place to eat near Sekiu! Very tasty. We will be back........................................

    Specials!

We had their vegetable curry with chicken and their special, which was cheese filled ravioli tossed in butternut squash sauce, topped with parmesan, fried sage, and spiced pecans. It was all scrumptious! Their staff is fast and friendly. They also have a pretty good beer selection along with well drinks. Highly recommended.

Came here while roadtripping and camping Olympic National Park. Walked in and stood in line to order. Everyone working here was super kind, and checked in on us multiple times throughout the night. The Mac and cheese was perfectly melty and a nice blend of multiple cheeses. I didn't eat the pulled pork sandwich (a special that night) but my boyfriend enjoyed it. It was exactly the kind of homey meal we wanted after a day of hiking and driving.

They used my favorite-beer batter which was perfect. We were disappointed with the fact that the fish wasn't from the area. Our server admitted this and that there was some regulation that didn't allow them to serve local fish. I wasn't sure exactly why. I had hoped for locally caught halibut or rockfish or something. But for fish brought in from the great unknown, it was good. My husband got creative and tried the Buffalo Cauliflower and Karaage Chicken. Both of them looked a little strange to me...The Buffalo Cauliflower was overly spicy hot. He didn't finish it. He liked the chicken better. A big shout-out to Camryn, our server. She was delightful! We really enjoyed talking to her. She was very personable and friendly. You'll be lucky if she's your server! The atmosphere in the pub was very nice. The prices were very reasonable!

After a long day of hiking and driving from Port Angeles to Forks, we did the Hoh trails and were extremely hungry after. We looked on Yelp and this was one of the highest rated places, so we thought it would be good. I genuinely do not understand the ratings. The food was terrible. The nachos were basically just a bag of stale chips served on a plate. There was maybe sour cream on ONE chip. The cheese was literally cold and frozen onto the chips. I'm not even exaggerating. The sandwiches were also extremely bland and nothing about the food matched what the reviews made this place seem like. Even looking through the reviews beforehand, so many of the Elite reviews read like the same forced AI review saying how amazing everything is. After actually eating here, I seriously question how this place has such a high rating. Easily one of the worst meals we had on the entire trip. I don't even wanna put a pic of the nachos that's how bad it was. the sandwiches were actually pretty decent that's about it.

We sat down and waited almost 30 minutes without even getting water. The same server walked past me probably 5 times while I was trying to get her attention and ask if we could order, and she just kept ignoring me. Meanwhile, the two white couples sitting right next to us were constantly being checked on and getting service. I'm brown, and after watching this happen over and over, it genuinely felt like I was being treated differently because of my race. Then a guy I was talking to had his son come inside just to ask his parents to order something for him. He looked around 20 or 21, and they immediately kicked him out. He wasn't causing any problems or doing anything disrespectful. The whole interaction was just unnecessarily rude. The ordering made absolutely no sense either. I tried ordering onion rings and was told I couldn't order any more food, while the people next to us were literally still ordering food. Then I was told I could order them for takeout, so I sat back down, and suddenly I was told takeout wasn't allowed either. I ended up waiting around 40 minutes just to order. The crazy part is some of the food was actually really good. The mac and cheese balls were really good and so were the fries. The elk burger was easily the worst thing we ordered and basically just tasted like a regular burger. I probably would've rated the food pretty well on its own, but the service completely ruined the experience. The place inside is also pretty nice. They have a nice bar and pool tables. So mad I ate 7 bites max and threw away their terrible service food. I'm not going to upload any photos, almost threw up looking at it because of the service I received.

We had a 15-20 min wait on a busy Tuesday night but we're glad we waited! Our server was friendly and helpful with choosing cocktails because they had a to. Of unique selection. Haven't ordered more than one at a restaurant before but had to try two here! We thoroughly enjoyed our final selections of Ginny from the Block, Garden era, strawberry bourbon smash and Blackberry goose beer! For our mains we got the alaskan cod and chips and Blackened cod tacos and loved it all. They really know how to prepare tasty cod! The Alaskan cod and chips had the perfect crispy texture and my blackened cod tacos had all the flavor profiles you need. A hint of heat in the Thai chili slaw with a creamy avocado, Crema and the brightness of mango salsa and of course a touch of sour with the HOUSE made pickled red onions. Even better they let me substitute corn tortillas in for the flour. But you can't mix and match your proteins. I didn't need to because I loved both of my blackened cod tacos. The atmosphere is in the name: cozy Gastropub. They have a plethora of beers on tap, but parking is solely on the street so a little bit more challenging than picking your beer but I don't think it would be too challenging if you're up for a small walk. We were able to walk from our Airbnb, so didn't have to figure that part out. Pretty sure it was farther than any walk you might have to do for parking!

I made a reservation for two about a week in advance. I ordered the sourdough with sunflower spread from the first section of the menu, the weekly pizza from the third section, and the pappardelle, also from the third section. The sourdough arrived first, but within minutes, both the pasta and the pizza were brought to the table. We had not even finished our first piece of bread. The sourdough was a bit chewy, and the sunflower spread was underwhelming. I wished I had chosen the butter instead. The pappardelle, on the other hand, was fantastic and turned out to be our favourite dish of the night. The snap peas were crisp and added a pleasant texture, while the sauce was rich and buttery. The pizza, made on a sourdough base, was also quite good. It was light and airy, with well-balanced toppings such as potato, bacon, and snap peas. The bottom was slightly burnt, probably due to the flour used to prevent sticking, but it added a nice smoky flavour from the wood-fired oven. We finished with the pavlova for dessert. The berries tasted fresh, and the meringue had a lovely toasted texture. The service felt a bit rushed, and the courses were not staggered as expected. Although the staff mentioned the menu is structured to guide the order, this was not reflected in the pacing. Overall, it is a great spot for fine dining, despite the timing of the service
