Wow... I have never been treated as a liar before. I got a little chip in my windshield and I needed some repair. I found this place in yelp. I get here and I was explaining to this person how it happened. This happened yesterday as I was driving from work I heard, felt and saw a small rock hitting my windshield. I brought my car to this place in less than a day. He started saying that someone had already repaired it, this was already fixed, this happened along time ago maybe when I bought it ( umm I bought it in 2024), he started saying so many things and I was in shock. I told him I was not lying, I'm not a liar. NO ONE has touched my car for any repairs yet. I told him this happened yesterday and he kept on going saying someone already "repaired" it insinuating maybe they couldn't fix it and that's why I'm bringing it here. I understood he was not believing me so I politely declined any services and I wanted to leave. He kept saying all these stuff and I kept saying I was not lying. I left so upset. Fernando at D&R Auto Glass is amazing! I just found a couple of small pits in the front windshield of my newly purchased CPO BMW and was scared they would develop into larger cracks. I called Fernando at D&R and he told me to bring it right in so he could take a look. Once I got there he carefully looked at the pits and told me there was nothing to worry about -- they weren't deep enough to cause future problems. There were three generations there today, so kinda cool and heartwarming. Marco was excellent, he was very open about what he was doing and the risks and benefits involved. My wife's car was leaking water into her cabin space. We thought it was from the sun roof, but were told by our mechanic that it was coming from a gap in the front windshield strip/molding, so we would have to take it to a auto glass place. D & R Glass was great for us. They were very friendly, very thorough in explaining our options (to fix vs replace), very patient in answering our questions, able to take me right away, and were able to finish the job in about 3 hours. Don't let the "hole-in-the-wall" look of the shop scare you off. What the shop lacked in looks was more than made up for it in service and professionalism. In addition, their price to replace the window was roughly half what I would have had to pay a chain like Safelite. I felt like they really wanted to make me happy. They made it very clear that they would be very happy to address any problems that should occur with the new window.
