Stop by a few days later to test drive, was told it was in for service. I just told them I'd be back on the weekend to test drive. I came back on Sat. to test drive, Loved it, put money down. Stop by a few days later to purchase it. When I got it home I notice the tires were low, the next day I stopped by LPM to ask if it was serviced. I was told it was. So I decided to change the air filter just to see if they did. I found a family of mice were living in the air box. Next day I stop by LPM to show them the pics of the mouse house and to ask if they were sure the bike was serviced, and I was told it was. Sounds like they'll tell you what ever you want to hear to make a buck, they'll never see my bike again.

I took a 1985 GL1200A Aspencade to ejr that had carburetor problems had to run it with 1/4 choke…read moreand it ran fine on 1/4 choke but you should not have to run ANY choke a minute or so after starting. I gave them air cut off valves and he said we'll see what it needs beyond that, problem was he let KIDS work on the bike all they did was clean the outside of the carburetors and put new fuel lines on and lost numerous screws ,left fasteners hanging loose called me and said it's done. I got there started it and it ran VERU rough Eric I think is his name said you just need to ride it and it will clear up and run fine I put a couple hundred miles on it and it still ran extremely poor. I took it back to him and he said I'll look at it and calls me saying it needs new carburetors and that he has another bike same year and model sold me the carburetors and intake system puts it on mine and it didn't fix ANYTHING in reality it got worse than before , so bad I couldn't ride it. It backfired sputtered popped. First time in that dump it cost $600.00 second time in the dump it cost another $400.00. In retrospect it was fine before letting EJR TECHNOLOGY'S screw it up. Fast foward a few years I ran across CLASSIC SUPER BIKES in Barrington illinois a young guy working from home found him on Facebook. He came out from Barrington and got the bike and looked it over determined it needed carburetors rebuilt got QUALITY rebuild kits took all 4 carburetors apart and said EJR did absolutely nothing except clean the exterior of the carburetors they didn't rebuild them and the air cut off value looked like it shattered it was so dried up Classic Super Bikes stayed in constant contact throughout the job updating me on everything This guy MARK knows what's going on and how to repair the issue. Classic Super Bikes called me and said it's done you didn't need new carburetors just a complete rebuild. I'm happy with the bike now. THIS THING SCREEMS NOW. High Scool kids should not work on anything as complicated as the GL1200A ASPENCADE. LESSON LEARNED AVOID EJR INCOMPETENCE.

Don't waste your money and time going anywhere else…read more Had a shop in Plainfield (you figure out the name) working on the car previously. The other shop had me by the Short Hairs as they had screwed it up so badly this past spring I COMPLETLY rewired the car. Originally the previous shop was provided with a new harness and it was such a mess when I took it back the guy that wired it asked who created such a mess. Surprised the car didn't catch on fire. Had to buy another harness as well as replaced the swap LS2 harness out. Add to this the 4-link wasn't rotating correctly which Blackdog straightened out. The other shop also fabed up an exhaust system which fell off on the way to Blackdog, it was replaced by Iggy's, this is what they do and what they have been doing for more than 50-years. Since getting the car back from Blackdog my stomach isn't turning anymore and the car is actually becoming a joy to drive. The rear end gear is howling to beat the band, this is yet another install by the other shop, it will be replaced in the next week. I have documented ALL of the issues resolved that were created by the shop in Plainfield and since corrected, anyone up for a Class Action Lawsuit? Lesson learned, DON'T make the same mistake I did unless you have the money to keep tossing out the window and the stomach to take it. Just start out at Blackdog!

They told me to just duct tape door so it would be somewhat closed and drive there. Roscoe Camping World came and looked at it,ordered replacement, got it closed and got it to the shop.
