I wanted to share feedback about my appointment today at 2:30. I drove from downtown Sacramento to…read morethe Folsom location specifically because I prefer this injector. I let the office know at 2:33 that I was 5 minutes away and arrived at 2:37, but I was told I could not be seen and had to reschedule. There was no one waiting, and my baby Botox appointments typically take about 10 minutes, so this was really disappointing given the distance I traveled. I also felt uncomfortable being lectured while I was scheduling the appointment initially about my treatment timing when I had already explained I received my last treatment in a different location on my face 2.5 months ago. I completely understand policies, but a small amount of flexibility in this situation would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return, which is disappointing because I really like the injector at this location.

I normally love this store chain and visit several locations regularly, but unfortunately this…read moreparticular location has consistently disappointed me--and not because of their products or prices. The issue is the staffing and overall customer experience. This was only my second visit. My first experience was great: friendly staff, easy shopping, no issues. However, my most recent visit was the complete opposite. I was shopping for face washes and skincare, and I stopped to look at a few new items from Origins, a brand I've used for years. One product in particular--the Apple Peel--didn't clearly describe what it was or how to use it. There were no samples available, and the packaging didn't indicate whether it was a mask, toner, scrub, or moisturizer. So I opened the box to check... and immediately the employee, who had been friendly at first, told me, "We don't allow customers to open boxes." That would've been fine if the product information had been clear or if samples were available or if the employee actually knew what the product was. I asked her what the item was supposed to be, and instead of answering, she told me she once bought their hand cream and "it smells amazing." I asked again if she knew whether it was a mask, toner, or something else, and she repeated that it "smells so good." This didn't help at all. She offered to look at it up for me but she did not , she was busy training/complaining to a new hire at the store . Since she wouldn't let me look inside and clearly knew nothing about the product, I purchased it anyway hoping it was a peel or exfoliant. Once I got home, I opened it--and it turned out to be just a toner. I definitely didn't need another toner, but at that point it was too late. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was how she hovered over me the entire time, constantly asking if I needed help. I understand offering assistance, but when a customer is clearly reading product labels, comparing items, and not asking for help, hovering feels intrusive. There was even a security guard right inside the front door, so the level of monitoring from the employee felt excessive. My bigger concern is that this store offers no samples for many of the products yet discourages customers from verifying what they're buying--or even checking to make sure items aren't damaged, leaking, or previously opened. That's a basic quality-control step, especially when buying gifts. Ultimately, my issue is not with the store itself but with the lack of staff training. Employees should know the products they're selling or at least make a genuine effort to look them up when asked. Customers shouldn't feel rushed, hovered over, or prevented from understanding what they're purchasing.

It is a very rare thing for me to give out one star reviews. But alas, I have to say that this…read moreplace warrants it. Was just in here and the girl who worked there was acting like it was a privilege for me to be in the store. To top that off, hardly anything has prices on it, and you always have to ask what the price of some thing is. They don't have testers for everything and when I opened the lid to smell a product to see if I wanted to buy it (it was hair conditioner), She shouted at me me "you can't open that!". Wow. I've never, except maybe one other time in my life, have told someone that they had rude customer service, but I told this girl to her face and promptly left. Avoid!

Dr Kauffman does the real ablative C02, so recovery is long, post care is a must and the payoff is…read moreso worth it. The quality of my skin dramatically improved. I had the C02 done in combination with other procedures, so I got a discount from his regular price of $4800 to $4560 in March 2025. I almost didn't do the procedure because I was already really close to the top of my budget for my other procedures but decided to go for it. The price included 2 post op facials to help with healing. Dr Kauffman certainly had one of the best bed side manners of any MD I've ever worked with. Friendly, patient, humorous. He does the procedures in his building located just off the prairie city exit off highway 50. When I awoke, my face felt like fire. It burned and I was miserable. It dissipated in about 2 hours and then zero pain at all. I did the vinegar soaks every 2 hours for about 5 days. It sounds weird, but I looked forward to them. It helped soothe the dry tight skin and clean up the aquaphor so I could reapply. The aquaphor helps protect the skin during healing but it slides around and got into my eyes occasionally (annoying but not painful) and the vinegar soaks helped keep things cleaned up. The skin was super delicate and peeled and peeled. I went back to work on day 10 and could not wear makeup because my texture was still a mess. My skin was also red still. I was able to start wearing tinted sunscreen at about 2 weeks. My face had red laser "track marks" for months. Then about 4 months after, the glow started. People started noticing and commenting. I noticed the quality of my skin transformed. It became smoother with rough patches gone, fine lines improved, sun spots gone, and my under eye hollows were gone. I'm now almost 16 months post and my skin still looks amazing. Strangers comment on my skin at least weekly and people ask me my secret. I'm so glad I splurged and that Dr Kauffman was aggressive with the laser. If you're going to get it done, I say go for it. I had to trust the process, because I'd read other women's journeys and no one talked about lasting redness and track marks but they probably didn't get ablative like Dr Kauffman . My inner voice was paranoid that my redness would never go away. But ultimately it disappeared and all that was left was gorgeous skin. Definitely recommend ablative C02. If you're going to do it, go for the real deal. Take the time off work and get the good 100% ablative C02, none of that fractional type or types where practitioners say "little downtime". The real deal has downtime and it was worth for me.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Kaufman. This was my second breast augmentation surgery…read more(previous surgery done elsewhere, five years ago). He did an implant exchange along with repair of muscle tearing that had caused my implants to shift, due to years of weight lifting. I came in feeling nervous and had a lot of concerns because of my past experience, but Dr. Kaufman immediately made me feel comfortable. He was honest, thorough, and gave me realistic expectations about what could be achieved. He took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel confident every step of the way. The results are absolutely beautiful, and I truly couldn't be happier. I'm so grateful for his skill, care, and attention to detail. Thank you so much, Dr. Kaufman! I finally feel comfortable and confident again. Highly recommend!
