I initially thought this haircut was okay until I got back to my hotel and realized how uneven it actually is. One side is approximately an inch and a half longer than the other, and the two sides are styled and cut completely differently. One flips out and has noticeable bulk and length, while the other sits flatter and shorter. This is not a subtle difference. Even photos make it obvious, and multiple people -- including an AI image review tool -- immediately noticed the imbalance without being prompted. That says a lot. What makes this more frustrating is that I mentioned during the appointment that I live in a remote area where it's hard to get haircuts or corrections, so this isn't something easy for me to fix quickly. I'm not sure how I will fix this before I go to work on Monday. It is much worse than my self cut I requested to be fixed. When hair isn't styled before a client leaves, it can be difficult to catch major inconsistencies in the cut right away. I genuinely did not realize how uneven it was until later when I was back at my hotel and able to look at it more carefully myself. I also want to add that comments or conversations about clients as they are walking out the door can make people feel extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious, especially when they later realize there was a major problem with the service they received. I understand mistakes happen, but this haircut feels careless and inconsistent, and the unevenness absolutely should have been caught before I left the salon. And it's frustrating to pay that much you have to go pay again to get this fixed read more

Took my Elderly Grandma in today, who can barely walk from point A to point B, all for the stylist in the photo below to refuse service because she thinks I gave instructions I didn't. For context, I explained we specifically needed 3 inches *cut off the top of her head and the sides* and that's it. 8 minutes later she questions me again asking how I'd like her hair done, in a very sarcastic and rude demeaning way. I have a lot of patience but when people think they can push people to their limits, that's plain wrong, just to fulfil her confusion, I re iterated that, yes we do need 3 inches in total off her head, Ericka, the sarcastic stylist continues to question me on my grandma would like her hair done, when I show that I'm starting to get upset, she then realizes that she's not getting her way, and asks us to leave, in which we did promptly, but it's very disrespectful and disappointing that she ruined my grandmas day just because this stylist (Ericka) was on a massive Ego Trip. PS: for giggles this stylist said she was the "manager" which is more than laughable as she doesn't know how to treat customers who've been coming to this specific location (Broadstone marketplace) for over 10 years Cons: disrespectful environment Zero cooperation in hair cutting They will mess your hair up, at a cost to you. I just went in as soon as they opened and was seen right away, I asked for a medium fade with a shampoo since I was headed to work right after. The woman did an excellent job, the fade looks just as good as a barber shop and she took great care to make sure no hairs were overlooked or out of place. She made made a little bit of small talk, but mostly focused on the cut, which I preferred since I had a lot on my mind. The shampoo and rinse was relaxing and she did a thorough job rinsing away the little hairs she cut. This was a much better cut than I've received at other places in the area. Only had one recent haircut but they did a good job and asked all the important questions and took time to get things right. Notes are saved there so I don't have to answer the same questions. Early check in and the app is nice and convenient to not know how long I have to wait. Recently remodeled, sure it looks nice but doesn't have to influence my opinion too much. My normal place finally caught up with inflation and is now only $1 cheaper instead of several dollars and you have a cointoss with the stylist. Went to this great clips for the first time today. Service was horrible. She cut my child's hair in less than 10 minutes. Charged me $20 for it. The cut was uneven. She had to fix it before we left and it's still not fixed. This is so unacceptable. She just kept saying is that all. She kept rushing us out, yet no one was inside. Ever had to get another stylist to fix your haircut? I had MARILYN start my haircut. Basic trim and layers. I think she's very new to the profession? Because she never confirmed the length matched on both sides and I have no idea what her strategy was for the layers. She looked like she was eyeballing everything. She cut the front on one side very blunt and never tried to fix it. I get that practice makes you better at anything so I gave the benefit of the doubt that she'd be able to blend everything in. That's when she asked the other stylist BALINA how she should blend in the layers. So she tried but wasn't getting it. When Balina was done with her customer she came over to fix the horrible job that my hair looked like. I'm grateful for that but she also was going as quickly as she could because the customers were lining up and apparently Marilyn couldn't help them? I haven't totally reviewed my hair yet, they didn't even give me a mirror to look at the back, but luckily I can just put my hair up in a ponytail and wait till it grows out some ‍ This visit made me so anxious, my HR was 136 while I was sitting in the chair. The worst customer service ever by hairstylist BELINA. This was the worst, the most unprofessional, and the most aggressive haircut I have ever had. She did my hair in under 7 minutes. Extremely rude. Argued that my hair cannot be done the way I wanted but it's ridiculous that I have been coming to this location for 2 years and never had any other stylist argue. She used the clipper extremely hard on my head like she did not want to do the haircut at all. Extremely unprofessional during the checkout and after the haircut she just said "anything else" She is literally the WORST stylist I have ever noticed. This was the worst and the most ridiculous experience. Sorry BELINA YOU ARE A TERRIBLE STYLIST. May be learn some professionalism or refuse to take the customer that you don't prefer. Came in on April 22nd for a nice haircut/blowout before going back to work. I work a lot, about 6 days a week so doing my own hair sometimes takes a lot of my time so I decided after months/years of doing it myself, I'd come to a professional to do it on my break. I signed up just so I could write a review. Now where do I even begin. I had walked in, told them I wanted a haircut, wash/set and blowdry. Haircut was $16, Blowdry was $26 because I wanted to have it dried with a brush. Not only did my hair not get washed properly, the girl who did it decided not to do it, but we had good conversation so I didn't complain. It all started to go downhill once I started to get my hair blow dried; literally just brushed while angling the blow dryer on the hair. WHAT? I said ok she must be doing something different/new. I let her know my hair is thick and is very frizzy/dry due to the bleach I did two months ago. Not only did she want to argue about WHEN I got my hair bleached, she used a very tiny fragile comb to use on my hair which she got the back hair tangled on it and took her a bit to untangle; Yes, I saw it all. I'm normally calm and am very forgiving when it comes to people who may not know their job all that well but when constantly asked "is this ok?" And me saying "yes, but I'd like this to be done instead" I'm not expecting someone to be upset to which she was the opposite. I'm already at the point where I'm paying $45 for my hair to be washed poorly, can't tell much about how the cut is and my hair was poofy and not done at all. I asked to confirm the total price and she just responds nonchalantly "well, it's that much because it takes up our time, y'know." Yes, it's the customers' time as well. Remember that. My hair was straighter and looked better before I came in. I said, "I was hoping my hair would be straighter." She leaves and comes back to use a hair straightener on my hair, used no heat protectant product in it and the straightener was on 440 degrees. She doesn't part it in sections to do it properly either, just takes big chunks and straightens, hardly touching my roots. I ask her if she could straighten the roots a bit more. At this point, I'm livid because of her attitude. To which she replied, "Let me go talk to my manager". Gone for a few minutes and comes back silently, back to working on my hair. Ok?? She barely cared about doing it right and barely cared about how my hair looked or what she did to it. I like to give people a chance and she could tell how upset I was, but clearly did not care. My advice, please go back to cosmetology school or actually learn from someone who knows how to do their job and do it well. I wanted to give this place a chance even with the bad reviews but I shouldn't have even bothered. Paid $50 for terrible service and an hour long process which could have been shortened if she gave a damn. Frankly, would be happy to get my money back for the time wasted and the amount of damage done to my hair. read more

I usually spend way too much money at a full service salon and usually not as pleased as I was today! Paige cut both my daughters hair and mine. She's super nice and easy to talk to and she knows how to use them scissors! Seriously, if all you need is a cut or trim, don't be afraid to give them a try! Not a huge fan of this place. Tagged along with the hubby to get a haircut since he doesn't trust me enough to line him up. Upon arrival there was about six ladies working and about three customers getting work done. The receptionist quoted us that it'll be a 55 minute wait but assured us that another girl was coming back from lunch? Which didn't make sense if we were the only customer waiting. Any who, we ended up waiting since hubby was in dire need of a haircut. Waited for 25 minutes before he was taken to the back. PROS: cheap cuts $14 CONS: lots of commotion, loud convos between hair stylist, long waits I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're in a time crunch. Make sure to book an appointment online. I have been a customer of this great clips since it opening. Customer service has really slipped and the employees are burned out and they do not care if you are there or not. The employees act like brain dead zombies. Their online check-in is a complete joke. I checked in and it said the wait was 40 minutes. I know they usually run behind 20 to 30 minutes. I showed up about 60 minutes later. I was ignored for about ten minutes. Finally, I was asked my name and they told me it would be about 10 minutes because one person was ahead of me. Next thing people start showing up. People that has put their name on list much earlier in the day but did not show up, so their names were taken off the list. But now those 4 people are placed ahead of me. 2 hours later after a 40 minute check-in, I left. Those late people should have lost their place and not placed before people that played by the rules. Especially after I was told there was one person ahead of me. Anyway, it is time for an upgrade anyway. I guess I was expecting too much from very downscale business. read more
