Not a good experience at all Tuxedos did not fit at all the groom had to go to the store last minute and buy pants and a shirt and shoes best man had high water pants shirt didn't fit a couple more people one of the parties returned the tux two days early and they were saying he didn't return it and threatening calls started by them saying he didn't return the tux and they were going to report it stolen and they were going to issue a arrest warrant the whole time they had it. read more

I literally could not have had a better experience. Tony took great care of me. I needed a tux very last minute for an out of state event and I was nervous about finding something and had accepted that even if I could, there's no way it could be tailored to me in time. Tony proved me wrong. Without hesitation he took my measurements and had me in a great tux the next day, not even a full 24 hours later. I would rate my experience overall as mixed. If you need a tux on short notice they can make it happen, and that's hard to find. That said, the quality is just medium - the pants have an adjustable waist band (with a clasp visible on the outside), one of the cufflinks they gave me was broken, and my pants had a rip inside the pocket. No deal breakers but also not quite as sharp as I was hoping for. For an independent operation they do a solid job but if the bar of a tuxedo rental is looking 10/10 I think there is room for improvement. read more

AMAZING ESTABLISHMENT. I flew from Philadelphia to Denver, en route to a wedding in Aspen. Upon landing, I realized I had forgotten my tuxedo! Even worse, I had to leave Denver in a couple hours by car in order to make the wedding. So, I called every store I could find to inquire about a same-day tuxedo rental; every store told me the same thing - that I was crazy to even ask. EXCEPT FOR EL GUAPO. "Sure, no problem, come on by." Within 15 minutes, I had a perfectly fitting tuxedo, with all of the necessary pieces, for an extremely reasonable price. But wait, there's more. After the wedding, I drove back to Denver for my flight, planning to return the tuxedo on the way to the airport. Like a jerk, I was late, arriving 30 minutes after closing time. Tony is the man! I used El Guapo for my wedding party tux' and we all looked and felt amazing! It's no small feat to fit me & my bro as we're both big & tall (6'7" & 6'5") but damn we looked good! The process was awesome from start to finish, I learned a ton about formal wear and fits just chatting with Tony. He is very hands on and communicative, he gives you his personal number so you can communicate 24/7. We ended up changing tux colors pretty late in the process but it was no issue at all, he had us all set to go right on schedule. I arrived in Denver area only to find I had a formal event and needed a tux. After checking around I found that El Guapo is the only place that you can walk into and get a tux the same day (or in my case in under an hour). I highly recommend El Guapo for excellent service and an extensive inventory that they can alter and have ready quickly. Their competitors have to take measurements, order out and receive inventory. We were looking for a tux to rent for my son's prom that was going to be in the next two weeks and we ended up here. The service was prompt, there was lots of options, and the owner was very friendly. We were able to go an pick up the tux 3 days before prom . My son tried on the tux before leaving the store and everything fit well. The neck tie did have some wear, but the owner quickly exchanged it out. The price was right around $180 (with the Yelp deal $70 for $100), which is a little pricey, but that's only in my opinion which I hear is an average price these days for a tux rental. My son is 6'5" and even though he procrastinated and didn't get in until a week before prom, they were able to get him the tux he wanted and the size 14 shoes no problem. I was fitted for a tux and was told it would be ready on the 21st. I told them I would pick it up on the 22nd. No problem right? I showed up on the 22nd to get my tux and they were closed. There was a sign on the door that said they were on vacation and would be back on the 21st. That was yesterday and today the sign is still there and they are closed. I tried calling several times and always got a busy signal. They took the phone off the hook. Apparently the vacation ran long. What a joke of a business. I went to Al's Formal Wear and was out the door with a tux in about 30 minutes. They saved the day. I called El Guapo 2 days later because I wanted my $30 deposit back that I paid to rent the tux. Believe it or not they actually wanted to argue about it. I simply called my bank and they took care of it for me. If you want to rent a tux and you need to actually wear it, then I would recommend using another company like Al's. I've renamed this place "El Undependo". read more

I rented the Calvin Klein tuxedo for my sister's Quinceañera and I really thought I looked good as people kept telling me how good I looked. The place is very organized and they have a lot of colors to choose from, the people working there are very friendly and knew a lot about tuxedos. I would give more stars if the option was available. First, I'm a procrastinator!!! I waited until 4 days before the big day. I called El Guapo and Tony went above and beyond to help me out. I told Tony that my schedule was crazy that week and he asked where I work. The next day he showed up at my business to take my measurements. He explained how important the proper measurements are for tuxedos (I wear suits all the time for work and thought it wouldn't be any different, boy was I wrong). The next day, my tux was in and I went to try it on! Man, am I grateful that Tony measured me!!! The tux fit beyond perfectly. The shop is locally/family owned, centrally located in the North Side of Denver, and has a huge variety of tuxedos for all budgets and preferences. I hadn't worn a tux for many years and was hesitant to rent another based on previous bad experiences at chain stores.
