Good neighborhood pizzeria if you want an affordable meal. Margherita Individual Pie - Crunchy rim, and doughy pizza. The sauce was a tad too sweet, but overall pizza was fine. Chicken roll - Pretty tasty and hefty. Beef Patty - This was fine as well Garlic knots - 4 for a $1? But it's pretty tiny and extremely oily. Would skip Zeppole - 4 for a $1? This was pretty doughy, but for the price, it's not bad

2 regular slices one grandma slice and 4 garlic knots

Have passed by this pizzaria for year and walked in today for the first time Food: it's okay food. Not a top or fave pizza place. Ordered regular slice which was regular though large. And grandma slice which was soggy (dough/bread) but good flavor. Garlic knots, which were not very soft or very garlicy. And zeppolies which could have used more powdered sugar. Price: price was par to other places. Worth it for size of slice bit not garlic knot sizes. Service: workers were behind the counter and both were friendly enough. Attebtive and asked if i needed anything else or wanted to done in. Ambiance: regular pizza shop with minimal seating (which makes sense bc COVID). It's kind of dark inside, which i guess is okay if no one is currently really dining in.

This place has been here for years and years. At least 30 years I want to say. There are plenty of pizza places in this area and De Angelo's easily holds it's own with other places. They are right on the corner of 108th St and the restaurant is set up long way. The counters are right in the front and there is some seating in the back. I haven't been inside in awhile as my last two "visits" were via delivery which was easy and fast. I'm not too far but both deliveries the pizzas showed up still piping hot. They have speciality pizzas as well as build your own. They also give you the options of small, medium and large when you are ordering whole pies which is a great option. The food is good. They have a full menu as well, not just pizzas. I definitely need to try the other options on my next visit.

I ordered through an app. The delivery person decided in the 15 minutes to travel to my address to go up every hill. The pizza delivered had the cheese sliding to one side. I showed him the sub par pie after tipping him and said It's not acceptable. He called his boss saying the pie is good in Spanish. Understanding Spanish I said it is not good and took a picture. He then called me a pendenjo. Their pizza is ok at best and their service is terrible.

We order from D'angelos a coupke of times a week. We have noticed the quality has diminished steadily in the last few months. Today, just is the last straw. who puts a slice in a paperbag instead of in a small box with the rest of my order. Pizza is limp and burnt on the bottom. My husbands chicken parm is flavorless. Not happy...

The food was great. The best pizza I ever tasted. My friend really liked it. It was a great service and it was very very, very good.

The restaurant was…read morepacked when we arrived on a Friday night, but thankfully did not have to wait as we didn't need a booth. We ordered a large pie with pepperoni and a calzone with sausage. Both items came out together like we asked and was far too much food for two. My first bite of the pizza was hot, crunchy, and delicious. I love fresh oven pizzas with a crispy bottom crust. The chefs did an amazing job cooking it just right. I also loved the fresh mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. It really elevated the pizza to another level. The crust was great all around with a slight oven char. Lastly the calzone took me by surprise as it had no sauce and was filled with ricotta cheese as opposed to mozzarella. It came with a small cup of hot marinara sauce for dipping/pouring. It was definitely an interesting calzone but don't think it was worth the price. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and Nick's and would highly recommend it. I do wish the pricing was a bit more fair when it came to full vs half pie toppings as well as the calzone.

My friend has a newborn and we were trying to find restaurants in the area that would be stroller-friendly (which actually isn't an easy task, to my surprise) and finally landed on Nick's because we had gone there together when it reopened. And it always seems very family and kid-friendly. We definitely went to the right place. I'm not a parent and I've never pushed a stroller without some bumps here and there, and I was so worried about helping get the stroller through the 2 doors. One of his staff saw us from the inside and immediately came out to help as soon as we reached for the door. Nick's paternal instincts definitely came into full effect because he looked out for us and wanted to give us the best seats so that we can have the stroller beside us. The pizza is excellent and I absolutely would come here over again and again, but the warm service from Nick himself and his staff is what truly makes this place so special in the community for so long. I didn't get a chance to come here during those formative years before the fire but when the restaurant finally reopened last year, it was incredibly sad to hear Nick explain how the fire and rebuilding devastated him and the business for over 2 years.

I felt slightly intimidated from the look of the place on the outside because it would seem like a middle class to upper class Restaurant but inside, it does look very nice but the setting is very much casual for its basically an upscale Pizzeria. However I didn't have pizza in mind, I went for something bigger and that would be the Chicken Parmigiana along with Root Beer which tallied up to $32 so not too bad. I contemplated about getting Dessert but I ultimately forgone it, which was a good decision in the long run because the chicken parm order was surprisingly hefty. I've gotten used to smaller portions being served in restaurants nowadays and I was expecting I'm gonna be hungry later eventually, but I sure was proven wrong. That meal filled me up proper, a little too proper because I felt absolutely stuffed after eating it all. I'm not one to complain about a good problem. Sure I felt uncomfortable, bloated and sluggish after eating that meal but I will take that any day in the week over feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled because if you're gonna spend $30+ on a meal, you SHOULD get your money's worth and that was a meal I could very well split with two and felt very fine with that. So props to PC for a gut busting meal, for the price I paid for lunch, I should feel like I'm going to spontaneously combust, better that than still feeling empty. That was an amazing meal that I'm STILL feeling the effects of as I write this review going on 8 PM on the same day I ate there at 12:30 PM. The vibe is also solid too, the workers are friendly and service was pretty swift. Took less than 6 minutes for my meal to find my table.
