As we have many times in the past, we tried ordering. My wife gave her credit card info, but she was told that this info will be given to the delivery person with a machine. When he arrived, he had no idea what to do , and when he did try and resolve the issue, the amount was totally wrong. Too, the pizza was ice cold, with the wrong topping. When my wife called back, the mgr pulled up an incorrect floor, but made no attempt to apologize or reconcile the issue. We will not use this establishment ever again. read more

And grandma slice which was soggy (dough/bread) but good flavor. Garlic knots, which were not very soft or very garlicy. And zeppolies which could have used more powdered sugar. Price: price was par to other places. Worth it for size of slice bit not garlic knot sizes. Service: workers were behind the counter and both were friendly enough. Attebtive and asked if i needed anything else or wanted to done in. Ambiance: regular pizza shop with minimal seating (which makes sense bc COVID). ive been going to this pizzeria for as long as i can remember. Their pizza is amazing and so is the food. But there is a worker there who doesn't deserve to work there because she is going livid because me and my friend were getting pizza and laughing. This place has been here for years and years. At least 30 years I want to say. There are plenty of pizza places in this area and De Angelo's easily holds it's own with other places. They are right on the corner of 108th St and the restaurant is set up long way. The counters are right in the front and there is some seating in the back. I haven't been inside in awhile as my last two "visits" were via delivery which was easy and fast. I'm not too far but both deliveries the pizzas showed up still piping hot. They have speciality pizzas as well as build your own. They also give you the options of small, medium and large when you are ordering whole pies which is a great option. The food is good. They have a full menu as well, not just pizzas. I definitely need to try the other options on my next visit. read more

I honestly have no idea how I've never reviewed D'Angelo's yet because I've been eating their food for years when I'm in the neighborhood. I love their pasta with their special sauce. It's basically a bolognese with a touch of cream and it is fantastic with both ziti and capellini, it just depends on what I'm in the mood for that day. The pizza is also fabulous; the dough is tasty, the sauce not too sweet but perfectly balanced, and the meatballs I usually get are incredibly delicious. The Caesar salad has superb dressing with the perfect amount of garlic. The pizzas are always thin and crisp and the perfect example of what New York pizza should be like. If you're really in the mood for carb overload, get the garlic knots and zeppoles because both are superb! read more

We had a very serious issue with this restaurant this evening. I must say that we have been using this establishment for some time, and until tonight , we were very pleased. After giving the order, my wife gave her credit card number as we always do and was advised that the delivery person would record the transaction with his machine. The delivery person was absolutely clueless as to what to do, printed out a receipt which was wildly inflated and could not explain anything. He took the credit card manually. In a follow-up call to the restaurant , the employee pulled up the wrong apartment, made no acknowledgement to my wife's complaint about the delivery person, and when questioned abut the surcharge advised that this was applied to every credit card transcription , the order was totally cold, , and the pizza topping was totally wrong. Also, the mgr. took all the credit card info again during the phone call. We hope we re not going to be charged twice. read more

I ordered through an app. The delivery person decided in the 15 minutes to travel to my address to go up every hill. The pizza delivered had the cheese sliding to one side. I showed him the sub par pie after tipping him and said It's not acceptable. He called his boss saying the pie is good in Spanish. Understanding Spanish I said it is not good and took a picture. I had an appointment on 108th St. and was hungry so I stopped here for a slice. It looks like a nice little place from the outside and the inside as well. I was helped immediately, so there are no service issues. I got my slice and was charged $3.25. This is the first time I have been charged this much for a slice in Queens. The slice was a decent size but not over $3 dollars worth. As I was eating the pizza, there was a strange flavor in the sauce that I could not identify. Maybe it was some kind of spice, I don't know. What I do know is I had never tasted that on pizza before. It wasn't bad, but it certainly didn't enhance the flavor for me. Don't know if I would return. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I ordered last night while at work, (ONE PASTA DISH) that's it. Mind you, this place is a 10 minute WALK from me. So by bike..you do the math. I ordered at 6:30...at 8:00 I'm calling for the THIRD time just to be told by a nasty manager "well i don't know what to tell you, my delivery guy isn't picking up his phone, I don't know where he is, just wait" lol, this was the most ridiculous ordering experience I've ever had with a restaurant.
