I am a huge fan of Arabiata Pasta and this is the best that I have ever had - hands down! The sauce is just so spicy and delicious. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal, the garlic bread is great especially if you like a bit of a crunch, the fried zucchini sticks don't get any better than that especially with dipping them in the marinara sauce? Please marry me! Man I really wanted to give this a good review you have no idea. But with how sick I got after, I'm actually afraid to return. I ordered a pasta dish that initially looked pretty good. The restaurant gave a cozy at home vibe and I thought I may have found a local gem. My stomach said otherwise. The taste was alright, and the price was budget friendly for sure, but man, when I tell you I walked out and my stomach was already shutting down...ooof. I finally made it to my date spot in Forest Hills for a movie and...damn I'm just glad he already asked me to be his girlfriend cause I straight up disappeared for 20 minutes suffering. Now to be fair, my stomach can sometimes be a little more sensitive than others but like a tag team when I felt better, HE started hurting too and went through what I did but delayed. Went for lunch after spending 24 days on a cruise ship eating bland British food. This was a welcome change. I had a slice of cheese, garden salad and zucchini sticks. The salad was iceberg lettuce, so less than ideal. Pizza was spot on New York thin crust. Hubby had the white pizza--chicken and broccoli. My parents had the spinach salad and Philly cheesesteak -- both were generous portions and especially fresh spinach. Only complaint was the American cheese on the cheesesteak. Weird. The thing that made it was the friendly banter with the manager, sharing the special olive oil from his farm in Greece for us to use on the salads. He even brought a sample of Grandma's pizza which was delicious! A great place for good food. read more

I ordered from Woodside Pizzeria for the first time today, it's close to my work and I figured Id give it a shot. I ordered chicken franchaise and chicken marsala dinners. Tasteless, unimpressive and an extra charge if you dare present a credit card...epic fail, pass. The place is empty whenever i pass by, I should've taken that as a clue. The "chef" in the back kept peering through the hole in the wall with such an angry scowl on his face. I'm not sure what to make of that except he did not look happy. I've only gotten pizza here once, and it's already my favorite in the neighborhood. Woodside has great food, great Filipino food, great Thai food, great Colombian food, great Nepalese food, great Mexican food, great farm-to-table food, and yet we suck at pizza. I won't mention names, but most of the pizzerias here are either bad or not good. I'm soooo happy that my buddy in West Woodside suggested trying Woodside Pizzeria. Pizza is tough cause it's so easy to do poorly and get away with still having a solid customer base because of proximity. Woodside Pizzeria, I'm happy to say, doesn't phone it in. The pizza here is a great balance of cheese, sauce and dough. None of those take over, but rather they compliment each other to make a good product. I won't lie to you and say it's the best I've ever had, but it's for sure the best I've had here in Woodside. I never ordered from here before due to the fact that it's further West than i usually go and over on Queens Blvd. Ordering online and via phone is painless. Prices are solid. Delivery was fast and came hot. If you live in Woodside, there's no reason not to order from here. I won't be going (or ordering) from anywhere else in the near future. The food is good, and a manager is a lovely man. The reason why I'm giving my experience two stars is these TWO racist delivery drivers that I have a HUGE issue with. My fiancée came to the restaurant a few hours ago to grab a little bite when the drivers were trash-talking about him across the place (calling him a "f****t" in Spanish). He was so disgusted that he walked out without placing an order. When I placed my order hours later for pickup and arrived, I took it upon myself to confront both of them about what they said, and they pretended not to know what they said about him; they both THEN proceeded to be disrespectful and called me a "crazy b***h" in Spanish and that's when I almost saw red until my fiancée told me to relax. The poor manager apologized for their behavior, and we left with our order. Word of advice: PLEASE find better delivery drivers who don't trash talk their loyal paying customers and pretend to act dumb once they're called out on it. Please, and thanks. read more

Quick delivery and my only complaint would be cold mozzarella sticks and cold cheese with bread and they did not pack any paper plates which would have been helpful given we did ask. Its the best pizza in the Woodside area in my opinion. Most importantly the guy who im assuming owns the place he makes you love this place even if the pizza wasnt excellent. I stand back and watch him talking to the kids and he is awesome. I had a little pizza party in the back for my daughters birthday and everything was incredible the service, staff and the food were all great love this neighborhood pizza. read more

Ordered through Grubhub. I wasn't sure what pizza place was good around here. I ordered the Sicilian pizza. I guess I thought it was a thin crust but it wasn't. It was okay but after the second slice it reminded me of another pizza place that I didn't like... Little Caesars. I gave it to the front desk to have for dinner. Now I also ordered the wings and garlic knots. Those were really good. Wings were spicy and the garlic knots are gooey and soft. Not sure if I want to order here again. I was very surprised how a situation was just handled. As a business owner myself, I would definitely want to make sure my customers are happy and satisfied. I ordered a personal pizza with a beef patty. The pizza came out, I paid and asked the owner (Who always seems annoyed) if the beef patty was inside the box with the pizza and he said "yes!" Since the box was taped shut and I had confirmation it was in there, I did not double check. Needless to say, I got home and the beef patty was not inside. I called the restaurant and they said, in fact, they did have it there and I could come back and get it. That's not what I was expecting to hear, seeing as I am not the one that forgot it and had even asked before leaving if it was in the box?!?! I felt they should have delivered it to me. That's what I would do anyway. After putting me on hold twice and the lady asking me what I would like to do.... I said "Well I paid for it, right?" She said "yes!" then silence on the other end. I said "So you're telling me I have to come back out and pick it up???" she said "yes!" The chef (not the owner) apologized when I arrived, but I felt since I covered all my grounds before leaving the establishment and they were the ones in error, they should've delivered it to me. I came in with the family including my ma inlaw. This pizzeria is divided in 2 salons, the fast food area and the fancy restaurant. They have a widely varied menu and serve wine and beer. The place is nicely decorated, clean and the service is happy, friendly and helpful. I will go back because of these points. The food was okay...the cuban panini had good flavor but the bread was not toadty or crunchy, though it did have grill marks?! The sausage stromboli my inlaw had was good, according to her. It must have been because if it wasn't she would have said something ASAP!! My son had the chicken tomato pizza slice...he liked it. Its crust was thin and crunchy. The white pizza and the pepperoni pizza are incredible. We are from Long Beach, California visiting New York and it is unbelievably good pizza. Also, the linguine with clams was excellent. The portions are huge for the linguine and the pizza. She's gotta take this One slice of pizza is equal to two slices of regular pizza. And on top of that, their prices are super reasonable! One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Every New Yorker knows this is a bold statement and not something to be taken lightly. I came in one night and had my pizza to-stay. There was a football game playing on the TV and some people were sitting down and watching it. There was definitely a huge sense of community and homey-ness as it seems everyone knew each other, from the customers to the staff. The pizza itself was thin, crispy, and saucey! I love sauce on my pizza (the more, the better) so this was a great thing for me. The crust was also soo good, almost like a cracker.
